    Katrina,
that's like me. I've got Sun, Chiron, Venus, Mars and Mercury all in conjunct in Aries 10th and Taurus 11th House. I just went onto Google and searched for significance from a bunch of sites. Just to get a light idea of what it might mean. I think, ultimately, you have to be able to piece together your own chart, if only because no one can (or, arguably, should) understand it and all it's little connections and hidden meanings, better than you.

      Hi Derrick,

I agree totally! However I enjoy hearing other's perspectives just as much because I broaden my own through their's : ) Otherwise, what would the point of being on Tribe be, if not for perspective shifts & understanding?

Also, as I'm newer to Astrology, hearing other people's thoughts points me in a direction so I don't I feel that I'm totally lost, taking shots in the dark. Being here is sometimes a validation of what I'm already thinking.

I think derrick is right that you are likely to have better answers than any of us likely would!

But I don't mind giving less than the best answers just to try....on the offchance something might spark your imagination...
My first thought was commitments at work...extreme commitments...to others

take it worth a grain of salt :)
If you like it sprinkle it on and gobble it up!
If you don't toss it over your shoulder :)

Extremem commitments to others is right on, not so much at the employment phase just yet.

3 children, a fiancee that needs me as much as I need him, a Mother who I won't let go of that's been abusive and a Brother who I will always be here for no matter how badly he screws up with me. I guess one could say that I'm commited to the people I love who need a steady person that will be commited to them. On a Soul level I feel that certain people *need* that unconditional love to be there in order to grow.

Besides the 10th house, what brought you to the idea of commitments to *other people*? Venus in 10th?

Generally, how does Saturn and Jupiter conjunct effect eachother?

      Thanks!

      K

libra is what brought "other people in" to my mind ;)

Another thought I had was "household engineer" ... what sort of resume would one need to get that career?

        saturn + jupiter could be
        big commitment
        generous commitment
        joyfull commitment

and someone else should chime in with ways saturn + jupiter have nothing to do with commitment because it is so stuck on my brain right now lol!

the 10th house is what we offer to the world. saturn is about committments.

Does Jupiter act as a "magnifier* to whatever it is conjunct? In this case, Saturn and Venus?

I think of jupiter as a type of expansion with a very positive twist

Hey, I'm all about getting the opinions of others. Lord knows I've asked just about everyone and their mother for opinions on my natal chart. I was just saying that afterwards you just kinda take what you've researched and the personal interpretations and you come to your own conclusions because, as they say, noone knows you better than you.

That being said, I'm still trying to figure out Saturn. For me, Saturn is a tricky planet. Jupiter, too for that matter. Only because, sure you think you know what Saturn and Jupiter are about but I think because both planets can mean something negative, which can at the same time be positive but you dont' realize it because it's nature feels negative outright, it's hard to gauge the significance sometimes. I mean, at first you wanna write them off sometimes, but you can't because you know what looks bad on paper can be very good spiritually. And not all lessons are simple.

I think Saturn is all about resposibility, and experience. What it represents starts to become clearer and clearer the older you get. the concept may seem simple, but applying it's concept to self takes time...
Jupiter is simalar. Growth, expandtion. as though Jupiter adds to your life and understading, and Saturn shows you your resposibility of....or something like that...

                  Thanks DragonWire
I totally agree with you on Saturn, too. I feel much closer to Saturn now, than I did years ago. I guess Saturn's lessons are slower and more meticulous. You really gotta step back and listen to what Saturn's talking about. Plus, I think it's interesting the planets that have rings, Saturn's being the biggest. I wonder what the rings signify, for spiritual and astrological inference. Like, what does that say about the lessons Saturn teaches? And of retention? Interesting stuff.

                Derrick,

I really really relate with that statement. That learning stage has been a newer and wonderful part of my journey. I began to let expectations go and see a circumstance for what it truly is without judging it. I had shifted my perspective on what the words "good" & "bad" really were. After which, situations began to reveal themselves to me as something far greater than good and bad.
