The s at the end of the orb stands for separating, meaning the two planets were moving away from each other. This also indicates the energy is not as intense.

you asked
<<Does that mean that perhaps it's not as major as it initially looked? >>

Not necessarily.

The personal portrait has a fixed set of parameters that are not user definable like the extended chart section. The Orb's used in the personal portrait appear to be smaller than the default Orbs used in the extended chart section. The parameters used for the Personal Portrait may also give more wight to some aspects than others.

I have found Astro.com to be a very valuable tool in learning astrology, and learning more about my chart, but all the services offered on the site, though some are very sophisticated, are based on computer generated charts, using pre-defined interpretations.

It's Sort of a paint by number interpretation of your chart. Astro.com is not capable of interpreting steliums, and other complex dynamics in a chart.

A real life astrologer with years of experience can draw out the subtleties and interconnections in your chart that a computer can not.
