wartime (W.T.)

Does anyone know the exact rules for calculating charts during wartime in England. I read somewhere that wartime in England was 1 hour ahead of standard during the war and moved the clocks ahead by two hours during the summer. I cannot find the dates of what "summer" constitutes. The person whose chart I am trying to cast told me she was 2 hours off of GMT but was born in October...which to me should be after summer and only one hour. Does anyone have any clarification on this one?

if you run it through astro.com it should be correct including adjustments and then you can compare with one hour or two hour changes by your hand and if one matches astro.com's thing than that would be the one to use
