Ruth, what Heather said seems to ring true. Personal planets like Venus and Mars in Scorpio will tend to colour it alot, as well as the Moon in its home, sensitive Cancer. His Moon is also in trine to Venus, which would add to him being in touch with that. The Moon could also be in trine to his Mars, depending on what time he was born. Knowing his Ascendant also would be a big key.

As far as willing to commit, he has alot of planets in fixed and earth signs, which would add to alot of stability and desire for such in his life.
