I've also my North Node in Aries (house 10, and immediately conjunct with my IC)

My mum's an Aries Sun Sign, and I know few connections more than that, but certainly I tend to gravitate more towards my mother on the familial spectrum than mah pops.

Inneresting to examine, at all stages, at least.

My mom and I have a pretty strong connection, too.
I never thought of it as a Nnode thing, Remi...but you could be right!

I don't know her ascendant for sure but I guessed it a while back to be virgo because of her smallish angular features and perfectionist nature-always put together and matching (but also a very caring/self effacing/serving ... not neccessarily emotional/empathic nature). She is always polite and helpful but a bit hard on herself and not extraordinarily emotional.

That would just happen to put her ascendant conjunct my Nnode based on the decan I thought sounded most like her. I think that fits...I have found that life is always pushing myself to be more like her in the way I present myself and when I don't keep myself looking put together and I get slightly out of line it kills me.
Any time I do not listen to my mom about these things the world comes in swiftly to give me a repeat of the lesson with a representative from the "school of hard knocks". Then I tell my mom...."you know how you always were trying to teach me _______? well you were right"

But it also puts her mars opposite my Nnode conjunct my sun. And I know that I have always told myself I didn't want to be like her in her mars piscean way. I also have mars in pisces but not so close to that Nnode/sun/mom's guessed ascendant. I feel like the piscean mars me and my mom share is very karmic but I never noticed that this would be opposite my Nnode and her guessed ascendant until I read your post...
It feels like I am recycling her piscean mars energy somehow and learning how to express it constructively in this life and maybe even teaching her a bit about it.

But more than that, I think her guessed ascendant fits because that puts my sun in her 6th house. I have always for all of my whole life lived as her "helper". We have always worked together (with her in charge directing me) to take care of my little brothers and keep the house clean and now also with Dad.

Other possible karmic ties:
*Her Nnode is in her 3rd house(house of children) about 10 degrees from my uranus midpoint and 10 degrees from my descendant(kind of a big orb...so...not sure)
*her moon conjunct my venus in aquarius
*her sun conjunct my pluto/square my moon in libra 5th house (she is the one who taught me to use my pluto square moon for creative energy and in general to control my emotional outbursts no matter what)
*If she is virgo ascendant...that means our chart rulers oppose each other (my mercury in aries her mercury in libra)
We are always struggling to balance her need to do everything(including communication and thinking it seems) together with others and my need to always do it independently. She teaches me how to get along better with others and I teach her how to stand on her own two feet more.
*Her Part of Fortune conjunct my ascendant, my Part of Fortune conjunct her sun (5ish degree orbs here....so not sure)

In general...lots of karmic looking things between my mom and I...more of them related to the Nnode than I realized.

my north node is in cancer. my mum's northnode is in libra and conjuncts my saturn. and her south node conjuncts my moon. our relationship is intangible but also wrought with many deep-rooted problems. very very karmic.

the funny thing is that i've always felt that she has a heavier karmic lesson to learn from me than i have to learn from her. an aunty had also made a comment on that as well.

i'd never look up or nodal aspects..but seeing this pattern now is quite interesting and also quite disturbing.

My mother and I also have a strong connection ...but I think my father is the one who has taught me more although I would not say we are as close.

I am a mostly balanced person .....I have for planet placements 4 water, 2 earth, 2 air, 2 fire and an ascendant in fire, NN in fire and Chiron in fire. I have a Capricorn Sun and my mother has her Sun, Merc, and Venus all in Cap. We also share the same Mars in Saggitarius. But she is soooooo Capricorn.....I have a hard time with it sometimes. Her NN is conjunct my Ascendant in Leo...maybe that would show that I am a teacher to her...

As for my father...I get my air and water makeup a bit from him. But his moon is conjunct my north node...and I definitely feel that although he is more of a "wise man on the mountain" figure to me rather then mom that I giggle with...he has taught me so much more about the way I think about life...
