I know it may seem sort of cheesy, but I was referred to one of those profiles-per-the-day-you-born things and it seems dead-on accurate for me.

I was wondering if other people's birthday profile is just as accurate as mine seems. Here's the website:

now, that I think of it, though, My sun is in 22' 04'' Pisces, so that actually falls under the 13th of March description, which sounds a lot like me, as well...it warns about fatalistic views, which I've fallen under for a lot of my younger years.

these are taken from The Secret Language of Birthdays by Gary Goldschneider & Joost Elffers ~ I have long found this book amazingly accurate & an especially nice coffee table book/conversation starter ~ it uses a combination of astrology, numerology & Tarot

well, if it takes numerology into account, I think it's safe to say I'm a full 12th March-er. LOL

Mine is sort of the antithesis of me, so I'm not sure what's up with that... It says I am social when I am a recluse, non-academic when I have been in school about 90% of my life, physical when I am a prude, and bad with money when I am paranoid with money and have never had any to be bad at attending anyway.

I've read this book before and there are some specifics that are largely accurate. I like the combination of Astrology, numerology, tarot and health suggestions involved as a cohesive analysis

The authors nail some very specific points in each day that are difficult to deny

mine was stupidly accurate. "The Day of Tragicomic Controversy"

        yeah... yeah.

        Thanks Yoda!

Wonder why it matches some people and not others... here is a question for those who found it inaccurate... what are the degrees included in that day for the sun? For my b-day it lists 27-29 and my sun is at 28, right in the middle.

Also Gregor Mendel was born on July 20th, so he'd have the same description as mine (odd I encountered a sick child who was born on July 20th the same day I found out what Mendel's birthday was, so there is some extraneous information for everyone).

Oops I should clarify... by degree Mendel would be the same, by day its "the day of ups and downs" but it includes 26-28, and since I'm 28, technically I'm both... so perhaps reading the days around yours might make the descriptions more accurate.

I have to mirror Teresa on this, but in reverse. I was born on the 4th day of the month with the sun just beyond the 14th degree. The following day that began on the 14th degree seemed to be almost completely accurate

              Yoda,

I own the birthday book along with the relationship book. I used to be obsessed with them until I got into astrology and how the zodiac works. I think my birthday profile fits somewhat but I think it is to general. Where your natal chart is definitely more specific to each person. Also happy birthday!

I have to disagree Sarah , and wonder where you see "too general" . Every day of the year in The "Secret Language Of Birthdays" book highlights specific attitudes and specific personality traits that have been more or less 100% accurate in my experience and you don't see these repeated on another day, shaking loose any sign of a cheap, shallow knock-off that you so often see in these types of books. The descriptions may be general in a sense that there is a specific theme in regards to each individual born on that day and they don't reveal the aspect patterns in your personal natal chart that you've become accustomed to, but that theme can be lived in a myriad of different ways according to an individuals subjective living conditions and the subjective condtions as a result of an individual's experience of their personal chart.

I have to say that I have read the day in that book for over a dozen people that I have personally known for some time and I can say with certainty that there were no major "miss-calls" or inaccuracies in the least. All of the characterizations were spot-on and some were shockingly accurate.

Well, it appears that I'm too late to greet Yoda a Happy Birthday. Sorry Yoda! But I hope your first 28th-year days were meaningful...

Anyway, to answer the original post...
I've read that book before too.
    I found a link: books.google.com/books
My birthday, July 23, is "the Day of Uncertainty Resolvers"

    The first paragraph is true.

Going by natal chart alone, the tendency to do intensive research on anything I'm interested in, may be indicated by Vesta in Gemini. Not sure if Chiron in Gemini does that too. Also the North Node.

"...highly mental bias... emotional life obscure and unexpressed... psychosomatic, addictive disorders... need to Pay More Attention to Inner Emotional State instead of pursuing external problems, or worldly or intellectual concerns..."

Very true. I don't know what this week's transits are, but I'm certainly embracing my emotions and "being with" them. I am a Cancer Sun. That's what Cancers do. I am learning that to be truly happy, and attain a sense of well-being and wholeness, I have to "...integrate social activities with inner emotional life, share rich fantasy life with others..."

I'm not sure I agree about the "dependency problem" though. But I can vouch for the "periodical self-doubts," which, in my chart, is indicated by Sun square Saturn.

The numerology section also states the truth about me. =)
