Ptolemy's entire text:
www.sacred-texts.com/astro/ptb/index.htm
I found this online today, if anyone is interested in THE authority. A lot of it is still over my head and gives me a headache to figure out, but hopefully I'll get there some day. There are sections on popular topics, such as career, marriage, children, and death.

Re: Tetrabiblos (for the advanced astrologers)
Wed, October 14, 2009 - 10:03 AMThat would be a good prerequisite read! Piece of cake for you.
It's obviously written in such a way that makes it more confusing than it really is. I might have understood it better in Latin! LMFAO I kid, but I am a Latin minor. Or maybe it was written in Greek?
Is the Almagest online? -

Re: Tetrabiblos (for the advanced astrologers)
Wed, October 14, 2009 - 10:19 AMThe Almagest was written in Greek, but translated into Latin and into Arabic early on.
I can only find bits and pieces of it online so far.
