Lilith in a Males Chart

I was wondering what everyones ideas on how Lilith would work in a males chart, if powerfully placed. I got this Lilith that got all these exact aspects, forms chart patterns.... When I read about the effects about it in a males chart.... there seems to be this connection to some fear or impression of other woman in their lifes. To me Lilith doesn't relate to the idea of conflict between the sexes...some of the interps I read for Lilith are so emotionally bias...and just flat-out sexist...BOTH WAYS!!! So I see this common theme of bringing power and control to a woman, but fear and pain to a male...oxymoron in the making. My friend calls me Liliths child by how my Lilith is aspected. So I decided to ask this wonderful group an opition on how to direct my Liliths energy, or to recogize it.

In my eyes Lilith is the energy that discribes the void between yourself and the creator, whoever that may be...

These are the two Mean and True node (Mean is the one on astro.com)...

Mean - At 2 Degrees Taurus in the 8th house
- Opposed Pluto at 2 Scorpio 2nd house
- Trine Moon at 5 Virgo 12th house, Neptune at 2 Capricorn 4th house
- Sextile Sun at 2 Cancer 10th house

True - At 16 Degrees Taurus exactly conjuct 9th house Cusp
- Conjuct North Node, Pallas Athena at 17 Taurus, and Venus at 16 Taurus
- Opposed to Saturn and POF at 22 Scorpio 3rd house
- Squared to Jupiter at 16 Aquarus 5th house
- Trine Asc at Virgo 20 degrees and sextile to Virgos ruler Mercury in Cancer at 19 degrees 10th house

The Venus in Taurus in its brillance, lucifer-morning star phase, being 45 degrees behind the sun. The max distance sorta speak...so the true would make all Minor aspects... to the Sun and Neptune that Venus does.

Any sugestions would be GREAT!!

Thank you :),

    so, in general, for BOTH men & women, Lilith brings power (control, not so much!), fear, mystery & pain ~ all tangled up together..... anyone who separates her effects for different genders is treading dangerously on the thin-ice of stereotyping & projection IMHO...... but of course it has been done:

    In a woman's horoscope, Lilith represents which part of life the woman plays a strong role in. Lilith is very evident and dominant in charts of powerful, creative women; Those who are quite successful yet vulnerable and sensitive. Many have unconventional relationships.

    In a man's chart, Lilith reveals the type of woman he fears and the type that can drive him over the edge, often to despair. Men...have you ever met a woman that drove you over the edge? She was your Lilith and I bet she shows up in your chart! The ideal position for Lilith in a male chart has an effect that would attract strong and beautiful to him.

    Remember, for women Lilith represents the power she has in her chart. For men, Lilith may also represent hidden powers struggles and unresolved issues with the women in his life.

    For both sexes Lilith shows us what we are most secretive about. Look for Lilith in your chart to see what defense mechanisms you use to hide any emotional wounding. Lilith in everyone's chart represents sexual passion!

    (from this article it is not so clear which Lilith the author is referencing)
    ~~~~~~~~~
    In the female chart, the embodiment of the ideal Lilith seems to be the woman, who is strong and consciously using her instincts, who is in monthly contact with her own blood, who takes control of her sexual power, who knows the rhythms of her body and controls contraception and pregnancy, whether she wants children or not, and if so, has no fear to give birth and experience this tour de force as a source of female strength. In the sexual act, she is sometimes above the male and sometimes below, just goes with the flow in the free interplay of forces between her and her partner. It's pretty obvious that a woman like that experiences conflicts when she gets into company with traditional-minded women and insecure men. She has to find her own way to live her forces in relationships and society.
    The ideal Lilith has her effect on the male chart by making him attracted and attractive to strong women. A fair contact with proud and impressive women is no problem for him. A sign for a positive development of Lilith in the male horoscope seems to be, that more and more men get involved in the adventure of being there at child-birth, to consciously accompany their partner, to stand at her side throughout this deeply touching experience and to remain strong in the face of this female initiation. A typical remark of somebody with underdeveloped Lilith-forces concerning birth would be: "No I can't look at it - I wouldn't be able to feel sexual desire for my partner any more!"
    No Illusions
    But even with this more positive picture we should not have any illusions about the fact, that experiences with transiting as well as natal Lilith are often connected to feelings of pain and agony. That brings us back to the myth: Lilith cannot forget, that she was punished and tortured just because she wanted to act freely and according to her own will. That shows why Lilith often brings us into contact with uncontrollable emotions, desire for revenge and frightening sides of sexuality: That is whenever we got to the point where we had to give in, because as children we were in an inferior position or as adults we may have suppressed our true being because of social pressure, cowardice or indolence.
    Astrologically or mythologically, Lilith personalities, people affected by Lilith, have access to their intuition. Lilith personalities are equipped with excellent manipulation and seduction abilities, and if they are smart, they won't use this talent to damage others, but to improve the living conditions of everyone involved. Often these people have diplomatic abilities, psychological understanding and the ability to empathise with other people. Lilith personalities have a sense for the correct word at the right time and know instinctively, what is appropriate in certain communications with certain individuals or a groups and what is not. Mostly they are charismatic people, sending out harmony and balance.
    ~~~~~~~~

    Like Hekate, the Black Moon is a "Queen of the Night", and negatively it is demonic (black magic) and vampiresque, while positively it is related to sexual initiation and transformational magic, a symbolic and oniric/artistic/imaginative world of primal wisdom that resists rationalization.

    Often, regarding Lilith, the traditional negative or "demonic" associations are rejected as being the result of the judeo-christian "male superiority" and "ego" ideologies. But this doesn't change to me the fact that there are still many demons inside of both men and women, and that the world of the night with all its mystery and magic still exists, although in areas and in ways different from those of the past.
    ~~~~~~~~
    Black Moon Lilith is believed to be a point of instinctive and emotional intelligence, whereby individuals can gain contact with and feel their inner heartfelt truths and soul longings and passions. Since at Lilith the Moon is more distant from the Earth than usual, the Sun gains relative prominence, and Lilith is also associated with the unveiling of illusions, the illumination of self-defeating behaviour patterns, the exorcism of self-centred desires, and the coming into closer contact with Earth wisdom. A strongly placed Lilith favours art, creativity, detachment from social norms, emotional sensitivity and vulnerability, an uncompromising will, and unconventional relationships.
    ~~~~~~~~

    Powerlessness and abuse suffered in early life can create very strong reaction formations that make people "hate" their own vulnerability and feelings, and this can manifest outward as feelings against those that show these traits. All this can be very complicated, "twisted", and dark. Sexuality is often the playground of unconscious reactions of this type, and the more negative or demonic traits of the Lilith legend can be (and are often in the literature) explained this way.
    ~~~~~~~~
    There was one “person” believed to have escaped the taint of original sin, and by avoiding that particular sin was somehow freed from the curse of death as well. Ironically, this creature went on to become the model of amorality in general, and vicious femininity in particular. Her wicked ways (read: free will) led to her immortality and her eventual association with all things carnally evil. Despite that the Zohar succinctly refers to her as “the ruin of the world,” she is uncorrupted by sin… or at least human sins involving trees, gardens, snakes, and death.
      So I am supposed to fear Scorpio women? That's odd, I don't feel any fear, but I do feel a lot of attraction, and quite a bit of camaraderie with them. Would you be willing to take a look at my placement too? It's here:
        Mike ~
        your Black Moon Lilith in Scorpio, 9th house.....
        tells me that you are attracted to relationships with extreme power dynamics and/or may be unaware of your own use of power plays with partners. Early experience of death & frequent setbacks/accidents taught you the abilities to heal & regenerate, along with a possible precognitive sense in avoiding danger, but you don't always choose to heed these warnings.
        You are often misunderstood & even taken advantage of, but that doesn't deter you you from travel/move to far away places, an optimistic interest in all things educational/philosophical & the need for much independence in your life.
        how does that sound for you?
        love all-ways,
          ps for Mike ~
          this was quoted earlier in the thread but describes Lilith in the 9th house too ~
          Lilith in the 9th house finds response in society. Here her instinctive self-assertiveness is motivated religiously, philosophically or politically. We find here the demand of the 9th house, that society should take over one's own behavior as a main thread or perspective. Basically, Lilith is as a very personal, charismatic energy, and if you act it out in the 9th house it may also lead to fanaticism or dogmatism. You turn your own view into the leading ideology and with Lilith you express this with much charisma, even to the degree of being dangerous. So we find Lilith in 9 in the chart of Adolf Hitler. Christian Klar, one of the heads of the former German terrorist group RAF had Lilith in 9. Interesting is also, that iron Lady Margaret Thatcher had Lilith in the house of politics. Prince Charles, whose political and philosophical abitions do not amuse the queen, has his Lilith in 9. And a great artist with Lilith in 9 confronted us in his powerful paintings with strange new perspectives: Salvador Dali.
      Mem,
      I found this article not to long ago on the web thats pretty intresting... (in that first artilce that fear of woman that drives you over the edge... I don't understand, I am crused with thinking outloud, and would put that woman in her place ..... as if it were any man who were that way too!!) I'll amit though, it is usally the opposite way. I am a traditionalist at heart, no doubts, and some of the most wildest personalities are attracted to me, but I got some sort of mellowing effect, as they can never find a reason to be pissed at me :P !!! (Well not for long) Right now I am living with a sweetheart who has Lilith conjuct her 7th house cusp Aquarius, opposed to Pluto in Leo.
      Thank you very much Mem for that infomation. Everytime I try to study anything on Lilith, it is always in Dutch or in French. I have been casting astrology charts since I was 8 years old, and I do make some money on the side off of it, but mostly all my clients are Europeans. It was some of my astro buddies over there that stressed my lilith, but kept on telling me to read books not in English... CONSPERICY!!! I CRY CONSPERICY!!! lol
      Laugher is the way I connect my Soul with my Spirit, when you have nothing else to loose, all you got left is laugher :).
      -NOW THIS IS ALL AN ARTICLE -
      (beginning isn't pasted)
      www.antonialangsdorf.de/dateie...say.php
      The astrological and psychological interpretation is mainly based on the story of Lilith as Adams first wife who preferred a wild and free existence in the land of the demons to the illusory idyll of paradise. Important for the interpretation is the moment of pain and revenge: Lilith had been punished just because she acted in a free and self-determined way. In her pain and anger, she takes revenge on Adam, symbolizing all the men. She also took revenge on Eve, symbolizing all the nice, servile women who betray their ideals of freedom and equality by adapting themselves to the male demands. In a way, Eve was smarter than Lilith in all her radical honesty: Eve acted nice and servile, but later she seduced Adam to try the apple from the forbidden tree - and than shared a life outside of paradise with him. Thus, Lilith also stands for a form of independence, that may cause some loneliness or force the chart-owner to get in with the wrong crowd, symbolized by the demons. In the traditional astrological literature about the black moon, Lilith is mostly described as representing the dark part of the female being. She appears as a demonic, dark goddess, as a destrucitve, psychic trouble-maker, the ultimate femme fatale, the mean seducer, she is a rogue, she wants revenge, she kills the newborn - really a very diabolic image. A good example for a typical Lilith figure is the biblical tale of Salome, the daughter of Herod. With her power of seduction and intrigue she caused the horrible dead of John the Baptist by decapitation.
      1.3.The view has changed
      Meanwhile, this one-sided view of Lilith has changed. Women's Liberation and the evolution of society in general, but also the rediscovery of the power of nature and the new belief in witchcraft and old rituals - all that opens up new ways for us to get Lilith out of her life in the shadow and integrate her into ours. For me the new picture of Lilith shows best in the process of birth, which is the most original female action altogether. It's a very painful process with very earthy feelings but at the same time something highly spiritual, an incredible break-through. A natural birth shows many clichés of darkness: It's full of blood, painful, slimy, frightening, archaic and - out of control! You have to use very rough chemical or physical methods to intervene in the process of birth. The delivery releases enormous power which the woman has to surrender to. We should not forget that not long ago every birth was a matter of life and death and that the woman at childbirth had a high risk to die or to lose her child. In addition, mother and child have to take the first, far-reaching step to separation, until birth, they shared one body. For the newborn, it's the first step into future independence. When the woman holds the child in her arms, we have the picture of the exhausted, yet happy euphoric mother in great relief. A transformation happened: From the animal like, earthy woman who drives out the child into the bad world into the lovely mother Mary.
      If you take the rhythm of the Lilith-cycle you find that it takes approx. 9 years (8 Years and 311 days to be exact) to cross all signs and in each sign, Lilith stays for exactly 9 months. This indicates Lilith's strong relation to the female pregnancy period of time. There also seems to be a relationship with the nodal axis: One Lilith cycle is approximately half a nodal cycle. And whereas the nodal axis results from the lunar orbit crossing the ecliptic, Lilith results from the lunar orbit revolving the earth.
      1.4. The female power
      I believe that Lilith represents one part of the female trinity: The original, earthy and unspoiled part, the female power as such. Besides Eve, the symbol of the wife, the companion of the man and Mary, the idealized mother, Lilith reflects just that, which man cannot tame and which he - especially the male - therefore with all his might tried to suppress and to demonize. The separation of women into the holy and the whore is still common - and of course, Lilith plays the part of the whore here - the part which men and society desire and need but at the same time fear and repress. I think Lilith also represents the witches and the magic women, the midwifes and the wise women of the Middle Ages, who had been ostracized or killed because of their knowledge of contraception, birth and health care. Lilith as a witch was burnt at the stake, Lilith becomes ritually circumcised and deprived of her clitoris, Lilith has been covered up in the burka among the Taliban. The modern, western world uses medicine, personal hygiene and science as an excuse for the attempt to tame Lilith and to put her out of action: Women are systematically treated in a way to get them out of the habit of listening to their body and using their natural instincts. A good example are frightening methods of pre-natal care that make the pregnant women wax in the hands of the doctors instead of enabling them to discover the strength of their bodies. I do not deny that cesarean section saved countless lives of childbearing women - but the decision for this method is often made in a haste or it turns out to be redundant altogether. There are many more unnecessary manipulations of the birth process that deprive the woman from the chance to experience birth as a source of strength. And last but not least the pill! Three decades of experience with the pill have shown, that this male invention brought sexual freedom at the woman's expense: The pill works in a way that separates the woman from her natural body feelings and throws her off her hormonal and emotional balance. Women who take the pill pay for their sexual freedom with extremely heavy physical and mental side-effects. A very important threshold in the life of a woman is when she gets her first period. In modern society, there exists no appropriate ritual to help the girl in this phase, it has become purely a medical and hygienic problem. Each mother stands on her own how to handle it and the chance for a great initiation is gone. Besides, it's popular to ridicule the goddess: The blue testing fluid in the advertising for tampons and panty liners, feminine spray and other hygienic excesses are likely to offend the goddess and minimize her power.
      A more optimistic picture
      I will now try to paint a more positive, modern picture of Lilith. In my view, she represents a combination of the magic power of the dark goddess, the female instinct and the endeavor to be equal to the male. In the female chart, the embodiment of the ideal Lilith seems to be the woman, who is strong and consciously using her instincts, who is in monthly contact with her own blood, who takes control of her sexual power, who knows the rhythms of her body and controls contraception and pregnancy, whether she wants children or not, and if so, has no fear to give birth and experience this tour de force as a source of female strength. In the sexual act, she is sometimes above the male and sometimes below, just goes with the flow in the free interplay of forces between her and her partner. It's pretty obvious that a woman like that experiences conflicts when she gets into company with traditional-minded women and insecure men. She has to find her own way to live her forces in relationships and society.
      The ideal Lilith has her effect on the male chart by making him attracted and attractive to strong women. A fair contact with proud and impressive women is no problem for him. A sign for a positive development of Lilith in the male horoscope seems to be, that more and more men get involved in the adventure of being there at child-birth, to consciously accompany their partner, to stand at her side throughout this deeply touching experience and to remain strong in the face of this female initiation. A typical remark of somebody with underdeveloped Lilith-forces concerning birth would be: "No I can't look at it - I wouldn't be able to feel sexual desire for my partner any more!"
      No Illusions
      But even with this more positive picture we should not have any illusions about the fact, that experiences with transiting as well as natal Lilith are often connected to feelings of pain and agony. That brings us back to the myth: Lilith cannot forget, that she was punished and tortured just because she wanted to act freely and according to her own will. That shows why Lilith often brings us into contact with uncontrollable emotions, desire for revenge and frightening sides of sexuality: That is whenever we got to the point where we had to give in, because as children we were in an inferior position or as adults we may have suppressed our true being because of social pressure, cowardice or indolence. However: Transiting Lilith confronts us with the pain that appears because we realize that we didn't live out our true nature - because we didn't want or were not allowed to be who we really are. This also seems to have a connection to the issue of homosexuality - especially when it's hidden or suppressed. In this case Lilith forces the chart-owner to stand by himself and be honest about his sexual preferences. My colleague Lianella Livaldi-Laun who has been working with Lilith for more then 10 years and has published two books about the black moon, mentions several cases in which Lilith in the male horoscope may indicate a hidden or obvious homosexuality and the fight to for acceptance.
      1.5. Natal Lilith
      Concerning natal Lilith, I have noticed, that she is very strong in artists horoscopes. In general, we find her dominant in the charts of powerful, creative, personalities who live a life apart from social norms and conventions, quite successfully but yet vulnerable or sensitive in their feelings. They tend to have unconventional relationships ore end up living as a maverick because they are not willing to make any compromise. In the chart of women who have Lilith in hard aspects to the moon or in the 5th house she may also indicate general problems with pregnancy and childbirth - either the chart-owner suffers from miscarriage or she does not want to be pregnant or is afraid of motherhood.
      1.6. Transiting Lilith
      Transiting Lilith often brings experiences of pain or loss. I observed that she plays her part in miscarriage, abortion, childlessness as well as acts of violence or fateful death. I also assume that she may be involved with rape. But in contact with Lilith we can also have the most incredible experiences of initiation and as we know from the esoteric teaching, initiation is rarely a funny and relaxed event!
      1.7. Lilith in relationships
      Lilith is no joke in relationships! Most people are not conscious about the forces of the goddess, much less, having integrated them. Thus, a date under the influence of Lilith may grow into a dangerous liaison, into painful, intense, obsessive or strange love affairs. Often it's a matter of male or female self-esteem, of power and powerlessness and of radical break-through. Lilith often uncovers hidden structures of suppression and confronts the partners with their true desires which they haven't lived out. If you look at Lilith under the aspect of being radically honest about your sexuality and your true feelings, its obviously not easy to get along in peace and harmony in a relationship when she is dominant.
      2. Lilith in the houses
      /…/
      2.5. Lilith in the 9th house
      Lilith in the 9th house finds response in society. Here her instinctive self-assertiveness is motivated religiously, philosophically or politically. We find here the demand of the 9th house, that society should take over one's own behavior as a main thread or perspective. Basically, Lilith is as a very personal, charismatic energy, and if you act it out in the 9th house it may also lead to fanaticism or dogmatism. You turn your own view into the leading ideology and with Lilith you express this with much charisma, even to the degree of being dangerous. So we find Lilith in 9 in the chart of Adolf Hitler. Christian Klar, one of the heads of the former German terrorist group RAF had Lilith in 9. Interesting is also, that iron Lady Margaret Thatcher had Lilith in the house of politics. Prince Charles, whose political and philosophical abitions do not amuse the queen, has his Lilith in 9. And a great artist with Lilith in 9 confronted us in his powerful paintings with strange new perspectives: Salvador Dali.
      The most impressive Lilith case I have in my collection also shows Lilith in the 9th house. The name of the chart-owner is Marianne Bachmeier. In her life the goddess showed in a highly emotional, archaic and tragic way. The story is terrible, yet poetic. Marianne Bachmeier became famous because she shot the murderer of her daughter in the courtroom. Two films had been made of her story. She became the secret idol for victimized mothers and children, an avenging angel, a heroine. Violence was a central thread in her life, starting in her childhood. As a girl, she was raped and became pregnant. They put her into a children's home and she had to give the child away for adoption. In this facility, she was raped a second time with ensuing pregnancy and again had to give away the child. In the age of 23 she gave birth to her daughter Anna. Then the ultimate horror: At the age of 7, Anna was killed in a sex crime. The perpetrator had been caught and one year later the incredible happened: During the trial, Marianne Bachmeier calmly stood up, pulled out a pistol she had smuggled and fired eight shots at the offender. Six bullets hit his back. Afterwards, she said into the silence: " I wanted to make sure I kill him. Actually I wanted to shoot him in the face" and let security arrest her without any resistance. With this act she became a public heroine. The sentence was mild: 6 Years for manslaughter and they let her go after three years. At the age of 43 she got cancer. She was working at terminal care at that time. She died at the age of 46. She had asked a friend of hers who was a journalist to accompany her dying with the camera.
      In the Chart we find Lilith here at the cusp of the 9th house in conjunction with mercury, squaring Pluto and in Trine with the moon. Mars at the ascendant tells us something about the potential for violence in this life, here he stands for the unconditional acting on emotional impulses. If we are generous with the orbs we also identify a grand trine between Mars/IC, Lilith/Mercury and the moon. Among other things, the 9th house is also relevant for justice. And it points to the outside, into society. For Marianne Bachmeier, her desire for revenge was more than a personal feeling. She didn't shoot the murderer in the heat of the moment. In conjunction with Mercury, Lilith acted well-planned here. And Bachmeier wanted to tell and show the world what she was doing. Indeed this act had something grand, philosophical, Jupiter-like, because Marianne took revenge symbolically for all mothers who ever experienced the terrible loss of a child by crime. She acted in a way others may have dreamt of but wouldn't dare to. Of course its strictly forbidden to take the law in ones own hands. But her act was very popular and she had - appropriate to the 9th house - made her self an executor for a real public demand in the face of the most dreadful of crimes - sex crime against children. Becoming a hero by an act of violence - this is in the chart also expressed within the square between Lilith in 9 and Pluto in 11.
      Let's also take a look at the charts of the events in this case. If we take the synastry between Mariannes birth chart and the murder of her daughter, we see transiting Lilith in the 1st house at the south node, forming a square with natal Uranus. At the same time, the Sun activated natal Lilith and her square to natal Pluto.
      The day Marianne took revenge we see destiny at work with the nodes on the MC-Ascendant-axis and in T-Square to Lilith. Interesting as well is the trine to Venus at the cusp of 11: Maybe an indicator for the positive resonance by women? And if you watch the new moon constellation squaring the Ascendant you have a symbol for the great power of renewal that the act probably had for Marianne.
      Compared to Mariannes natal chart, we find that the trine between Lilith and Venus also reaches natal Jupiter: For Marianne, this murder was deeply meaningful. I think that the nodal axis with north node here in 11 also had some impact on the natal Square between Lilith and Pluto. In addition, we have the current Mars at the DC opposing the natal Mars-Ascendant-conjunction and in sextile to the Lilith-Mercury conjunction - that probably increased Mariannes readiness for active violence. The square from Neptune probably symbolized the fantasies that preceded the final act. The stellium of planets in the 6th house may have pointed out that for Marianne this act was essential, a need for survive. The square from transiting Pluto to natal Moon also indicates that here a fate was sealed. And even terminator Saturn was involved: We find him in conjunction with Jupiter at the south node. When 14 years later, Saturn hit the north node, it was exactly when Marianne passed away. That shows once again that you would never watch Lilith isolated. But as in all the cases shown here, she is the clue to a deeper understanding of the story.
        thanks mem and allan for the good info.
        what would you make of
        the synastry or composite dynamics
        when one person's lilith conjunct the other ?
        2nd house taurus 7 02 with 6th house taurus 04 0 1 - almost within 3 degrees . . .
        would this explain some bizarreness in relationship dynamics?
          or how about this one -
          her lilith in pisces in her first house
          conjunct his chiron in pisces in his fourth house . . .
          what would the differnce be b/n lillitth and chiron
      I have lilth in the eighth house in Gemini -I am not sure that fear is a good word for lilth.
      Lilth seems pretty alluring and magnetic rather than fearful, perhaps the undercurrents of its tide and potential for control is what I am aware of and with it I become a little wary and just little curious at the same time
        As for Scorpio women, Yes the used to. But I came to understand it was something I was too familar with Scorpio Asc. And yes the scorpio privacy didn't want to see it.. Now I Like it alot. I think it took some living to come around to it from the other end..
        One of the things I found with this is, men have a fem side too, and Lilith may show this power w/ it the fem of a man...
          no, the asteroid Lilith is another thing.....
          separate from the Black Moon Lilith wich is also known as the lunar apogee (what we are discussing),
          the Dark Moon Lilith which (witch) is a hypothetical second moon of Earth,
          & the fixed star Lilith, also known as the eye/hand of Medusa and/or "most evil star"
                on astro.com you can add the Black Moon Lilith by selecting "Lilith" in the box where you can add extra things like the Part of Fortune & Juno ~ the symbol shows up as a crescent moon over a cross on the chart.....
                for asteroid Lilith you can add #1181 in the box for more asteroids.....
                Dark Moon Lilith is in the list of hypothetical points/objects as Waldermath moon, or something like that....... & there are a few other Lilith mathematical points there too (worked with slightly different equations, I think)
I have been confused & the information I'm giving now is still my best guess, according to what I've researched ~ but Lilith still insists on moving all about the chart ~ frustrating me!
                    highlight Lilith in box = Black Moon Lilith (mean value) = crescent moon over cross symbol
                        How would you think asteroid Lilith works in a male's chart, then? I think I've read that in a woman's chart it's the part of her femininity that she feels is different, strange and fears will be rejected because it doesn't fit social norms. I'm curious about the asteroid in a man's chart, esp. in synastry--mostly because my Sun is closely conjunct both a man's asteroid Lilith and Eros, a man I have a strong attraction with (of course there a lot of other contacts between the charts), and I just don't feel any of the negative connotations that maybe the asteroid could suggest--of course, I don't really know what it does suggest...
                          Just wondering because Lilith is a "hypothetical point."
                          Mine is widely conj the sun, (7 degrees and out of quality because Lilith is in Libra and the sun is in Virgo), trine Saturn nearly exact by 1 degree of orb, and sextile to the north node exact, quincunx Chiron exact, and is placed in the 8th house.
                          Ahhhh!!!
    i have lillith in the second iin taurus - and i think possibly opposing neptune - but the info on lillith seems so conflicting i could never make much of it . seems to me that a long time ago i tried to learn about lillith and learned that there are actually three different versions ?
    long cut and paste below . . ..
    In the beginning was the Great Goddess, and the Goddess was the Earth, and the Earth was the Goddess. "
    The origins of the cult of the Great Goddess lie hidden in the dim twilight of prehistoric time. The Goddess ruled for hundreds of thousands of years. In the course of time, the Mother- Goddess was overthrown and driven under, and the triumph of the most patriarchal of archetypes - Jahweh, God the Father, Allah - was complete in the Judaic, Christian and Moslem worlds. It was only in the tamed form of Mary, Mother of God, that some aspects of the Mother Goddess were permitted to survive. Various Black Madonnas in ancient sanctuaries still bear witness to her.
    The figure of Lilith represents one aspect of the Great Goddess. In ancient Babylon, she was worshiped as Lilitu, Ischtar or Lamaschtu. Jewish mythology already puts her into darker realms - an evil Demon of the night, a fitting mate for Satan, lying in wait for men, and killing children.
    The Astronomical Lilith
    The Moon travels along an elliptical path around the Earth. An ellipse has two focal points, and the other focal point, not occupied by the Earth has been called the Dark Moon, the Black Moon or Lilith. This is a slightly simplified definition, since, actually, the Moon and the Earth both move around their common center of gravity, and the path of the Moon is not a neat ellipse, but a rather wobbly affair. One must distinguish between the mean orbit of the Moon, which is a slowly elongating ellipse, and the actual orbit, which vacillates around the mean path, due to interference of various kinds. Just as there a "mean" and a "true" Lunar Node, so there is a "mean" and a "true" ellipse and a "mean" and a "true" Lilith. I write "true" in inverted commas, because the Moon's Node is only "true" about twice per month, when the Moon is actually on it, for the rest of the time, it is as "untrue" as the mean Node. In fact, when working with a point so close to the Earth, one should also take the great parallax into consideration, i.e. consider, from which point on the Earth one is actually looking at a point in the heavens. Astrology observes the planets geocentrically, as if from the Earth's center, and not topocentrically, from the actual place of the observer.
    The Dark Moon has also been defined as the apogee of the Moon's orbit, or that point in the orbit farthest from the Earth. Both these points, the apogee and the second focal point, lie on the long axis of the orbital ellipse, the line of apsides. Seen from the Earth, they lie in the same direction, and therefore occupy the same place in the zodiac. The second focal point lies at a distance only about 36́000 km from the Earth, the apogee at about 400́000 km. Apart from this, both definitions can be regarded as being equivalent. Because the orbit of the Moon continually shifts forward in space, the Dark Moon moves along the zodiac at about 40° per year. A complete revolution takes 8 years and 10 months.
    Interpreting Lilith
    "During my years of astrological practice, I have come to use the Dark Moon in all my chart analyses, as a complement to interpreting the Moon. It would never occur to me to neglect this influence. The Dark Moon describes our relationship to the absolute, to sacrifice as such, and shows how we let go. In transit, the Dark Moon indicates some form of castration or frustration, frequently in the areas of desire, a powerlessness of the psyche, or a general inhibition. On the other hand, it shows where we question ourselves, our lives, our jobs, and our beliefs. I feel this is important, since it gives us the opportunity to "let go" of something. The Dark Moon shows where we can let the Whole flow into our selves, without putting an "I" in the way, without putting up a wall in the form of ego. At the same time, it doesn't indicate passivity - on the contrary - it symbolizes the firm will to be open and trusting, to let the Greater World flow through one, relying entirely on the great laws of the universe, on that which we name God. To prepare us for this opening, the Dark Moon creates a necessary void."
    (Joëlle de Gravelaine in "Lilith und das Loslassen", Astrologie Heute Nr. 23)
    Q to Astrodienst: Which Lilith do you use in astrology? There are more than one, aren't there?
    The astrological tradition of Lilith/Dark Moon originates primarily in France and has spread over large parts of Europe in the last 25 years from there. At least in Europe, Lilith always refers to the second focal point of the Lunar orbit, or to the Lunar apogee, which both are on the same axis and at the same position of the zodiac, from a geocentric viewpoint.
    The terms 'dark moon' and 'black moon' are both used for the same mathematical point. The asteroid Lilith is a real asteroid (#1181), but there is no relevant astrological tradition associated with it. Currently there are about 36'000 numbered asteroids known with precise orbits, in the average you find 100 of them in every degree of the zodiac.
    There is also a theory about a fictitious second Earth Moon. These are not documented by contemporary astronomers, even when a 100 years ago some astronomers have claimed to have seen such invisible objects.Please see section 2.6 of the Swiss Ephemeris documentation for our policy as ephemeris authority regarding fictitious objects.
    From:
    www.antonia-langsdorf.de/datei...ay.php
    Dark Moon, Black Moon or Lilith, this hypothetical point in astrology is known by several names. Some argue that the Dark Moon is one thing, Black Moon another and Lilith yet another. The reality is that there is an asteroid named Lilith, but it is not the same as the Dark or Black Moon. However, when used as a point in a birthchart, all three names appear valid as they all seem to describe the same thing.
    This point arises due to the Moon's path around the ecliptic forming an axis of the perigee when the moon's orbit is closest to the earth and the apogee when its orbit is furthest from the earth. It is an empty area, a void created, an empty focus. Moving at about 40 degrees a year, the perigee is from where the path of the Dark Moon is calculated. It takes a little under nine years for it to complete its course.
    In astrology, the Dark Moon is representative of the darker side of our nature, the negative side. It is the hidden depths that we know exist yet we prefer not to acknowledge. It is subtle on the surface, yet profound beneath. It is the foundations of our personality and the shocking truth that we often deny and project onto others instead. The refusal to see what is really within ourselves. The subtle refusal to see what part we may have played in some unpleasant drama of our lives, how we ourselves have manifested our fears. It is the kind of thing that we intrinsically know we have to deal with, confront the darker side in order to progress unhindered, yet most often we try to ignore. It is the deeper truth that we are forever in search of within ourselves. Probably the best use we can make of the dark moon is to explore our hidden depths, realize that we all have that darker side and go within to resolve that which ultimately hinders us.
    The Dark Moon is representative of the negative traits of guilt, shame, hatred, envy, and vengefulness, often brought about by personal wounds and hurts. The true dark side of things we try to hide.
    There is another side of the Dark Moon astrologically. Carl G Jung, the famous psychoanalyst described something that he called the "anima". The anima is a man's image of the ideal woman and also the feminine side of his personality. For a woman it is the image of the ideal man and the masculine side of her personality. So the dark moon in a birthchart will represent these ideals too.
    It is also representative of the enchantress or the seducer, one who lures another by use of sexuality or devious means. The kind who tempts another by implying that the grass is greener on the other side, that they can "rescue" someone, but it is in reality for their own selfish gain.
    The Dark Moon, Lilith, also has associations with motherhood, like her counterpart the Moon. With Lilith however, the instinctive nurturing is replaced by a strong protection of her offspring to the point that she would kill if necessary any that threatened them or caused them harm. She is also reactive against the ties involved with motherhood and the emptiness that mothers sometimes feel by isolation and the perceived lack of individuality that accompanies it.
    These things do not only apply to women, they apply to men as well, as the Black Moon is also their feminine side.
    Keywords: danger, darkness, deceit, destruction, devious, devouring, dreams, emptiness, enchantress, envy, fears, guilt, hatred, imagination, isolation, jealousy, magic, marriage-wrecker, mystery, night, poison, secrets, seduction, shame, the "other woman" who thinks a man needs rescuing from the "chains" of his partner, vengefulness
    The manner in which the Dark Moon plays out will be of the character of the sign in which it is posited and with over tones of the ruling planet of that sign. For example, if your Dark Moon is in Aries, it will act in the manner of Aries with over tones of Mars.
    If you don't know where your Dark Moon/Lilith is, there is an online ephemeris where you can input your birth date and time, and it will give you a list of all your planetary placements. It includes both the mean and true Dark Moon as well as many of the asteroids, including Chiron.
    The following is from : www.astrologysoftware.com/resou...le.asp
    There are 3 astrological points with the name Lilith: asteroid Lilith, Black Moon Lilith and Dark Moon Lilith. They are all called Lilith because the way you interpret them in a chart is related to the Lilith story.
    Probably the earliest version of Lilith is from Mesopotamia in the 13 -15th centuries BC where she was the Goddess of Death in the form of an owl. She was called Lilith because it means "screech owl". The version of Lilith we know today is as the first wife of Adam, before Eve, although she is not mentioned in the Bible or in ancient Hebrew religious writings. This version seems to come from a medieval writing that purports to be part of Hebrew writings but is not. The writer probably took the older legend and Christianized it by making it part of a Bible story. Lilith became the woman from hell, the anti-female.
    There are many versions and interpretations of her story. As the first wife of Adam she refused to be subordinate to him. She refused to lie beneath him in sexual relations. She wanted to lie side by side or on top. When he tried to force her she used her powers to fly away. This part of her story has interested many women today . They like to think of Lilith as a feminist heroine, saying she was courageous and asserting her equality. However, in the original story she was more a symbol of the psychologically damaged. If you interpret the Lilith in a chart as heroic or admirable it will not be accurate. The Lilith in your chart operate as places where you are having trouble, where you don't fit in with the norm.
    After Adam refused to have her as his wife, she ran off and mated with many demons, which was strictly against God's will. God sent 3 angels to her to get her to stop but she didn't obey so He started killing her children at the rate of 100 per day. She went mad with grief and started killing other people's children. Painful issues surrounding children, birth, unsuitable sexual partners and parts of your life where you just can't function like others do are Lilith issues.
    Asteroid Lilith
    The glyph for asteroid Lilith is a straight horizontal line with 4 small vertical lines sticking up from it , sort of like an upturned rake head, and on the right below the horizontal line is a very small mark like a capital L or V. Some say it is an upturned hand which could be either rejecting or expecting something different. It takes about 5 years for Lilith to travel through all 12 signs, since it does retrograde a lot. It orbits the Sun in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. The asteroid Lilith has to do with all aspects of difficult sexual relationships.
    Black Moon Lilith
    Black Moon Lilith is the astrologer's term for the lunar apogee. Since the Moon has an elliptical (oval) orbit and a wobbly one at that, the distance the Moon is from the Earth varies. The lunar apogee is the mathematical point in the sky where the Moon is farthest from the Earth. The reason this point is called Lilith is because in the Lilith story she was acting out the difficult (distant) part of the Moon, in murderous rage, vindictiveness, and insanity. The glyph for Black Moon Lilith is a black crescent pointing east, similar to a 3rd quarter Moon, but with a cross underneath.
    Black Moon Lilith can be calculated as mean or true, similar to the way the Moon's nodes are calculated as mean or true. But in the case of the Black Moon there can be as much as 30 degrees difference between the mean and true so it is possible for them to be in different signs or houses. Deciding which to use is easier if you look at charts of people you know where the mean and true are in different signs and houses. The true is the more accurate placement but an ephemeris for it has only been available for about 10 years so not as much work has been done using it. The ephemeris for the mean has been available for about 100 years and astrologers in Europe have been using it almost that long. That's why you see the mean used more in articles and books.
    The mean moves about 39 degrees per year or about 3 deg 8 min per month and does not retrograde. The true Black Moon retrogrades a lot and can move anywhere from 9 deg to well over 70 deg per year. It also can move up to 4 deg per day or stay at the same degree for several days so it is important to get an accurate placement for the true. An ephemeris in a book is fine for mean but not for the true. You can get the true in Win*Star software, Hallo ran software, or Riyal freeware or you can use the Swiss Ephemeris online to get both true and mean. Directions for using the Swiss Ephemeris to find Black Moon Lilith are at groups.yahoo.com/group/3Liliths. It takes about 9 years for the mean or true to pass through all 12 signs.
    Dark Moon Lilith
    Unlike Black Moon Lilith, Dark Moon Lilith is a real body in the sky, a second Moon to the Earth that doesn't reflect light, hence the name Dark Moon. The glyph for Dark Moon Lilith is a zero with a forward slash running diagonally through it. There is some controversy over whether it is really there since it can only be seen as a spot moving across the Sun. However, there have been sightings since the 1600's as detailed in Delphi Jay's book, Interpreting Lilith, pg. 1-6. Dr. Georges Waitemata, an astronomer, documented it in 1898 and came up with calculations which gave it an orbit of 119 days around the Earth.
    The astrologer Sepiaria used the Waitemata calculations to come up with an ephemeris but he made errors which caused a difference of anywhere from about 2 to over 40 degrees. Delphi Jay, Ivy Goldstein-Jacobson, Mae Ludlum-Wilson and others copied Sepiaria's calculations. The original Waitemata calculations can be found in Solar Fire software or Riyal freeware. Many astrologers use the Sepiaria calculations with success, but the Waitemata calculations are more accurate. Dark Moon Lilith can be interpreted similarly to the other Lilith. Delphi Jay says Dark Moon Lilith is a place where you must operate impersonally because operating personally there will never be successful.
      I just got totally confused with all this Lilith stuff, part from gathering that it is an archetype that sems to fulfil a need to find a femme fatale type somewhere.
      My Demetra Geoge gives me an asteroid called Lilith, I have forgotten where mine is though. But this ellipsis information makes me want to ask aquestion - is this about saome kind of a midpoint between Moon, Sun and Earth, or between the nodes? Is that what the other Liliths are about?
        well, i'm certainly no expert - but i can take a crack at two of them . .
        (other than the articles and links above, which have better answers)
        looks like -
        asteroid lilith is an actual physical asteroid
        black moon lillith is the lunar apogee - or the point at which the moon is farthest from the center of the eart - (i think)
        seems to me that dark moon lillith is either a potentially fictional actual body or a calculation of some sort depending upon which article you look at ?
        each has a different symbol - and i'm not sure which symbol really goes to which.
        you can plot your asteroid lillith and at least one other lillith (probably all 3) in astrodienst.
        to choose the asteroid lillith i think the number is 1181 or 1811 or something like that....
        but there is a list you can pull up and find the code. the .... i guess black moon lillith.....is just choosing from a drop down list with ceres, juno, pallas, lillith and some others ..
        i probably just made things even more confusing....maybe someone who knows what they're talking about will try an answer.
              I get that Mem, and I understand that completely... The thing is that the other two are the interception between the Moon/Earth... Like the nodes, you got a True and a Mean based between Sun/Earth....If I decided to name something Node, does that ness make it be like that? As the name Lilith in Hebrew means spirit of the night... In Greek the spirit of the night would be Nyx.....one of the orginals to pop out of Chaos.... Intresting, I will ponder on that one. Now I got to see if there is an astroid Nyx :P...... Maybe I should re-think my thoughs lol...
                  According to astro.com, my natal Lilith is at 19' 01'' Virgo and my 5th house cusp is at 18' 52" Virgo. That can't be just a coincidence?
                    Black Moon Lilith in Virgo, 5th house....
                    A tendency to express criticism at inappropriate times/places. You perhaps tend hopelessly between committment & autonomy urges, between social contacts & retreat. Other people are confused by you & this leads to paradoxes in almost all areas of life.
                    Psychological & analytic abilities are almost unsurpassably strong & your intuition beats everything. Unfortunately you may be unaware/unconscious about your abilites or shy away from admitting to them.
                    BM Lilith here grants charisma & a taste for luxury, drama & freedom, but you succumb easily to temptation & may be prone to misjudging your children. Misunderstandings can be fatal if intuition & wisdom are ignored.
                    do you recognize any of this?
    This is a good example of why I generally discount the asteroids.
    I strongly disagree that a man's Lilith indicates a woman that will push him over the edge. Any woman with the right combination of energies could send a man over the edge. It matters not what that woman's sun sign is. My Lilith is in Sag. I'm a Capricorn. I can't imagine myself ALLOWING a Sag to affect me that much that I get "pushed over the edge." My Venus is in Sag, so women with Sag qualities are attractive to me.
    If I were to theorize on a woman's Sun sign that could affect me that badly, it would probably be a water sign woman, because there would be a lot more passion involved which could set up the circumstance for me to lose it.
    Hi Allen ~
    I really like what you wrote:
    "In my eyes Lilith is the energy that discribes the void between yourself and the creator, whoever that may be..."
    I think that is a great image to work with :)
    I dug up a few more quotes from my research that I though appropriate, although gross generalizations along gender & sexuality lines make me a bit uneasy, at least there is a positive spin ~
    Lilith challenges both women & men to connect with their instinctive passion for life. For this natural force denied, unfulfilled, caged or exiled, turns destructive.
    Black Moon is self-centered illusions for the purpose of purging negative desires, leading to deeper truth within our hearts, as the longing & yearning of our souls.
    from http://solar_a_w_e_f.tripod.com/starsforever/id6.html
    In male charts, a strongly placed Lilith attracts the individual to equal, fair relationships with strong females, who in turn are attracted to such types as him.
    from groups.msn.com/HOROSCOPES...chiron.msnw
    so, to get back to your chart....
    you have a Grand Trine/kite formation connecting Black Moon Lilith in Taurus, 8th house; to Neptune in Capricorn, 4th; to Moon in Virgo, 12th; with Pluto in Scorpio, 2nd house....
    I would read that as a unique talent and/or something that comes easily to you that combines your inspiration from idealized formal & elegant households; your connection to & attraction with wealthy, powerful partners (that may tend to eventually disturb you by leading to material dependance & emotional unrest); & your finely tuned, sensitive emotional nature combined with an uncanny sense of good timing.
    I would say that you have a knack for falling into a stylish & high rolling social circle & although you really wouldn't have it any other way, you are often confronted with the less seemly aspects of this lifestyle, triggering emotional upheavals that may ultimately prove advantageous, revealing new options & unexplored avenues, but arise out of nowhere & take their toll on your sanity, none the less.
    Black Moon Lilith in the 8th house is also connected to experience with deaths & losses at an early age, which easily develops into wisdom & acceptance of death as a part of life.
    does any of this ring true for you?
      Damn Mem!!! Right on target lol......
      I have seen way too many deaths, too many to count to be honest. The theme of death has never effected me, when I was younger I got into a bad car accident and the doctor told me my family was all dead. None of us suffered any longterm damage, my brother had half his skull reconstructed .... 3 fire signs shouldn't be in the same car. I was raised with a Sagittarius Mother and Father, Leo Sister, and Aries brother, always wondered what gives me the energy to handle such conflict of energy. The lilith thing makes sense, as I started to learn astrology when I was 8 years old, wanting to be a holy man one day lol... The symbol of Uranus attracted me to the book.
      I have very open relationships with alot of people, and extremely private ones. Most of the time, people like to ask my opition about things, as I always seem to be sloving something else for someone else. Nothing crazy, or extreme happens in my life, because my mind is able to see a pattern formed, so I slowly adapt to the change, to the point where you can't tell no difference.
      I see the Lilith energy as my more rebelious energy then Uranus, before I found out about Lilith, I just got done doing a huge research on her. Uranus stands out, distorys the structure... Lilith is a fox that wears the sheeps hide..... lol
      I have been having the strangest luck the last few days while thinking about Lilith. I found my ID, some clothes my room mate lost, and I got a bigger paycheck then usual.
        yeah ~ that "strange luck" has been following me around for the past year & a half (I have had different Lilith forms DIRECTLY on my ascendant for the past two solar returns) & although the "strange luck" hasn't completely balanced out the 'exile' from San Francisco (I got into an un-winable power struggle with my newly hired manager at work, quit my job & then was evicted for late payment of my rent) & the unexpected deaths of a few friends (they still visit me, in spirit form) & the on-going suspicion/rumours about me & my activities/lifestyle within my social circle......
        my intuition, psychic awareness & chart reading skills have developed & intensified...... but it all comes in spurts & fits, punctuated by pauses that I have no control over..... but when it pours out of me, there's no holding it back either.....
        Lilith has been my muse & dominatrix ~ I do think I'm better off with her than without her (or against her!)
    Well the generalizations are there due to the culture. IMO the Lilith personality is very anti-establishment, an attitude many cultures wouldn't want coming from men or women. But in certain cultures it is more shocking for a women to have a Lilithtude than a man. In other cultures a Lilith type woman wouldn't be anywhere near shocking.
    Usually when I read the Lilith definitions I keep the cultural biases in mind and apply their definitions across the board, ignoring the sexism.
      Right-o. Agreed. These absolutist gender assignments are bullshit. It has different connotations in male and female charts, the exact quality of which we are trying discern. Men and women may be required to use it different ways in order to stay within the status quo...but Lilith is Lilith and people are people.
    Hi Alan, my perspective is from working with my teacher Demetra George years ago, she is very much a scholar about the feminine asteroids and me with working with it for about ten years, have found that the archetype of Lilith is about loss, regret and sorrow. Her story of having to leave Paradise because of Adams refusal for equality through respect, reflects our femaleness of where we find regret and sorrow. Lilith is less a warrior and more closely linked to Nyx, the more ancient teachings of the night aspects of our female side. I consult men when i do their charts is to be very aware where their personal regret is projected, for we all have a male and female side and in a male it really presents that unconscious [can't see] except through experiences repeated until we become aware. Lilith is not an easy energy, she gets moody and retreats just like pisces moons, seeking to heal her anger. So if there is any anger that is unconscious it may be as you stated retreating rather than confronting. Lilith is about EMPOWERMENT and has nothing to do with power persay as all female asteriods do because its an internal non-physical psyche feeling expression of our life. Hope my perspective helps.     Re: Lilith in a Males Chart
    Tue, May 15, 2007 - 1:21 PM
    Actress Lynda Carter (who played Wonder Woman in the TV series) has a face that makes me want to projectile vomit all over my monitor.
    This has always been true, since I first layed eyes on her.
    I'm not exactly AFRAID of her, and if I met her I's sure I'd be a perfect gentleman and never say a word about it. But something about her expression, her face-structure, her eyes, mouth, cheeks, even the way she talks (when she's acting)...makes me SICK.
    I could never quite figure this out.
    To tell the the truth, when I first read about Lilith, an image of Lynda Carter did pass through my mind. I've seen her in more sincere roles, as a promoter of charities, etc...and then I realized that it was just her appearance and superficial behavior I was disgusted with, not the actual woman. I'll give the benefit of a doubt, anyway.
    My own Lilith is at 28* Libra in my 10th House, loosely conjunct my Moon in Scorpio, and opposite my Mars in Aries by a 1*orb. My Lilith also actually forms the head of a loose Yod in my chart, with Venus sextile Saturn as the base. My Mars in Aries goes absolutely NUTS when opposed with this energy, but I was never sure what triggered it. Now I'm sure. I don't mean I'm attracted, I mean there is something about her that makes me feel agressively MEAN. My Moon in Scorpio conjunct Lilith adds to this with suspiciousness, mistrust, and vengeful anger and sarcasm...because I see her as a deviously seductive, artificially flavored, sugar-coated, creamy-persuasive, "twinkling" , self-serving fucking bitch.
    Anyway, I just looked up...um...the lovely Ms. Carter's natal chart, and it's NO SURPRISE that my Lilith is in her 1st House near her ascendant. I dread to think what I'd feel if her Ascendant was exactly conjunct my Lilith. She makes me want to learn Voodoo magic so I can destroy her life and make her suffer. I want to starve her and smack her! I want to rub shit in her face! ARRRRGGGHH!!!
    Ah, behold the power of Lilith in a male's chart.
    I wonder what my Lilith would do if it was unaspected, though.
    Maybe I'd consider her a female to be conquered?
    No, that's my Mars in Aries opposing Lilith again.
    Shucks, I just don't know.
    Maybe Lilith in a man's chart indicates qualities he COULD be attracted to but gaurds against because he COULD allow himself to fall for it. So Lilith serves as a warning to a male about his own weakness for certain feminine characteristics. That's it. And in a female chart, it's how she goes about getting her man. The feminine wiles.
    Maybe Lilith in a male chart also shows the potential "wolf" in him...
    Just a guess...
      Maybe with a Yod involving Lilith, I have serious Lilith issues sometimes.
      A Yod IS afterall, sometimes called a "finger of fate". Maybe I'm afraid of fatefully ending up with a woman who is as I described above, in my last post. Maybe my Lilith in the 10th House has to do with being wary of being involved with a woman who uses me for personal gain, or who tries to usurp or subvert mine.
        YOUn:
        My Neptune doesn't aspect my Lilith at all...and this situation has Lilith's signature written all over it. Lynda Carter happens to be an actress, yes, but if I encountered this in real life I still wouldn't like it one bit. The Ascendant deals with outer appearances, and as I said upon learning a little more about Lynda Carter as a person, I don't really get the same impression I get from her appearance.
        Once I had a co-worker who happened to be a late Libra too...and so was her niece. I didn't hate these women, but they just induced the same general impression: NOT for me, NOT my cup of tea, too much sugar and cream".
      Come back a month later, and read this gesh!!!
      I LOVED IT lol I agree with it 100%... I can totally relate to that, FJ you are right. The coulda, shoulda, wouldas.... I don't live in that world, as I am not focused towards judgement, with Lilith, Venus, North Node, and Pallas Athene in Venuses other home, Taurus. I tend to think in the same terms, but at a lower level, as I keep it contained.
      With that yod of Venus and Saturn, towards Lilith, your cup is filled with Mars. That shows a contained pattern also. With the Moon in Scorpio, what can I say isn't it lovely lol.... I tend to like the Mars-Saturn types, over the Plutos. Just reading your response gave me great insight, and I would like to share some with you too!! It's the wolf inside of me lol....
      But first I need to complete a thought, In my own natal chart... I got Juno at 0 Libra, and Vesta at 22 Libra... Pallas Athene 16 Taurus.... And then Ceres, the only one not in a Venus ruled sign... in Cancer at 5 degrees, conjuct to Sun, Mars, the degree of the Sun-Mars midpoint, and in the 10th house, complemented by Moon in Virgo 12th house at 5 degrees. Oh yeah and Neptune at 2 Capricorn 4th house, and Pluto at 2 Scorpio 2nd house.
      If Ceres is the ascendant of the Moon, then in my case... My outer personality to my Virgo Moon is in Cancer. I must put on one hell of a show!!! As my Mercury happens to be in Cancer also. Why do I bother to fool myself... Ceres plays with Sun - Mars - Pluto... and a mystic rectangle with Ceres - Sun - Neptune - Pluto - Lilith - Mars. 5 Planets in Water, 4 in Earth...
      What I know about Ceres....
      I know that Ceres is a primal goddess, who was a planet,
      debunked to an asteroid, followed towards Plutos discovery as a
      planet, closed off as being "debunked" to a planetoid... While Ceres,
      finally got reconized as a planetoid.... Maybe it is Ceres time to
      shine....Ceres walked all night and day with a tourch in her
      hands....as she is one of the goddesses who actually lives on
      earth....Shouldn't darkness be complemented by light, of the night and
      of the day? We all need peirods of complete darkness, as artifical light can effect the
      Vampye hormones, Melatonion... in the pital gland.
      Morning Star-Evening Star debate.... Taurus-Libra
      Now back to that configuration I was talking about... sorry about that long thought. Cancer Saturn, and Venus is in Scorpio.. with Mars and Lilith in Aries. I remember reading Moon in Scorpio too, so Mars is in Retrograde....Because the Sun couldn't have been that close to Mars. Because this is a closed pattern, all of it expresses itself fluently.
      This is without the houses, so this is all the action, without the stage.... good enough for me...
      Venus in Scorpio is going to show a strong urge towards commited relationships because the Pluto in Libra, and the Mars Retro in Aries. This shows me that you keep your private views to yourself, and are willing to work around situations, regardless of whats ahead. You directly tell people your independence, and tell them how to work with it, giving them clues on how to interact with you to get a response. When a sterotype offends you, what else is to do but express it, and people who know you, will see a totally different side of you.
      It isn't about control, or power. It is in relationship to giving and taking, the connection of the Saturn in Cancer with the Venus-Moon in Scorpio, Libra Pluto, Aries Mars.
      Virgo and Scorpio are complement signs, as their energy goes together. Virgo is about making order out of chaos, and Scorpio is about making chaos out of order. Now if I think on that one for awhile, I start to notice that them energies work extremely well, even more-so then Scorpio with Capricorn. I can guess you have a planet in Virgo somewhere.... I am trying to think about what the Cancer Saturn ppls charts look like lol, I think that the planets were tracking the Sun, so Mercury is in Virgo by any chance?
      That Saturn gives you the ability to handle that strong Mars signature, as with the Pluto in Libra, and Mars in Aries...because of Saturns relationship with Libra, and the Moon.
      You defend the Justice of not putting judgement on infomation, Saturn hasn't entered into Libra to place judgement... WOLF!!! And if you happen to be a last degree Leo Saturn... you can change the bent of expression, to be just living.... As Mars in Aries, and a Leo Saturn, with the Venus and Moon in Scorpio, there is more of an urge towards becoming self-centered, as the relationship between the fixed signs is Ego. The Lilith now would play a larger role.... as the Lilith in Aries (where the Sun is exalted), would be related to rebirth, or recycling persay...Lilith doesn't denie pro-creation....Powerful woman might be a bit more passive around you, and willing to work with you, because you express your own securty.
      With the planets layed out like that, you might get fourtine from others misfourtine, or be able to build on other peoples failed ideas, and that is an awsome gift!!!
      Allan
        I mean the beginning of Leo, that is ruled by Saturn....
        Aries = Mars Sun Venus | Taurus = Mercury Moon Saturn| Gemini = Venus Mars Sun|
        Cancer = Venus Mercury Moon|Leo = Saturn Jupiter Mars| Virgo = Sun Venus Mercury| Libra = Moon Saturn Jupiter| Scorpio = Mars Sun Venus| Sag = Mercury Moon Saturn| Capricorn = Jupiter Mars Saturn| Aquarius = Venus Mercury Moon|Pisces = Saturn Jupiter Mars
        Giving a Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Sun, and Moon connection.... Making the 4th house and 5th house, Sun and Moon respectively, as the center...and both the Saturn and Mars sits to the side. ( Saturn, Sun, Moon, Mars) As Leo squares Scorpio, Sun-Mars, and Cancer towards Aries, Moon-Mars, with both Saturn on the opposite side, connected towards Aquarius and Capricorn.
        My GOD, man...
        I don't know what to say!
        It seems you are really brainstorming at an unbelievable rate.
        At first it's hard to follow..but then I see that you really came through with some incredible...almost utterly URANIAN...insights. Wow.
        And to think I thought you just pounded a few too many beers at first!
        I can't comment on your thought processes, because you were essentially thinking aloud.
        If we could put your thought-waves into audio-format it would probably sound like a fax-modem going through it's protocol at 57,600 BPS! I can't follow the logic of the pathways you are using to reach these conclusions...but I can't deny that you are right on target more than once.
        Anyway, I WILL comment on a few of your conclusions.
        Maybe you can eventually clarify your thought processes for me a little, or at least get me some of whatever you are smoking. ;-)
        >The coulda, shoulda, wouldas.... I don't live in that world<
        I think you mean women that are attractive to you without being good for you.They have something powerful that really catches your eye, but by itself it's really not enough and you know if you pursue them they will definately NOT satisfy your real needs. Or if they can, then there will be strings attached that you do NOT need. So, right..... No shouldas/couldas/wouldas. Such women (who represent your Lilith) ultimately amount to "H-A-N-G-O-V-E-R".
        >I tend to like the Mars-Saturn types, over the Plutos<
        Allan... WHAT are you talking about? :-} This is the first time you mentioned Pluto! But somehow I think I see your logic. I think you mean that Mars/Saturn combinations and also Pluto BOTH deal with power issues, or power in general....and you think that the Mars/Saturn appraoch is healthier and more effective and efficient than the Plutonian one. Both are prominent in charts where power is getting thrown around somehow, I tend to agree. Pluto deals with deep inner power struggles and working out the demons. Mars and Saturn are a great team for focused effort and achieving concrete, immediately useful results which can be applied directly to a tactical battleplan. Can you spell "TER-MIN-AY-TAH?". Fuck Pluto. Too many pitfalls and poisonous barbs. Not user-friendly.
        Holy shit, you really put my Yod under a freakin' MICROSCOPE!
        Finally I think I met someone comes to the same conclusions I come to through the same process...but since others can't see the mental process at work, they just don't buy my theories.
        I am really utterly LOST when you start trying to integrate Ceres into the equation, but since so much of what you say is like truth hatching like an egg, I really wouldn't knock your approach. Youre doing something right!
        >sorry about that long thought<
        De nada. Although I still didn't catch it all, and maybe you went North by going Northwest somehow. Good for you!
        >I can guess you have a planet in Virgo somewhere....<
        You know...you are really fuckin' AMAZING. Actually...BZZT!...I don't have a planet in Virgo. I have a Virgo MC! And I also have my Saturn in the 6th House which some astrologers say gets expressed almost as Saturn in Virgo sometimes. I took a test once to reveal my "true" sign...and yes, it was Virgo. Also, my mother and grandfather have Venus and Mars in Virgo. My Grandmother IS a Virgo with her Venus also in Virgo. The girl who claimed my virginity had Venus in Virgo. My 3rd girlfriend had Venus and Mars in Virgo. My best friend has Mars/Mercury/Pluto/South Node in Virgo. My current girlfriend has South Node/Pluto/IC Virgo......so YEAH, Virgo does find it's way into my life...somehow.
        >You defend the Justice of not putting judgement on infomation, Saturn hasn't entered into Libra to place judgement... WOLF!!!<
        Yes, I seem to come under fire for the information I share....ESPECIALLY FROM PEOPLE WITH STRONG VIRGO CHARTS!!!! <----Now THAT is a topic for a whole new post!!! Sincere fucking information, goddamit, that's all! People think it's a judgement. I think this must be my Pluto. Someone else mentioned their impression of me as Plutonian. It's a laser beam. It cuts through things. The only control I have is where I aim it. How does the saying go...? "I'll CUT you, ma-a-a-an!!"....in a strong black man's voice. Ha ha! Hey, my soul WANTED to incarnate into the body of Marvin Gaye...but Marvin got that life first...and he misused it and got shot to death. So, bless you, Marvin. I'll still keep it real.
        >This shows me that you keep your private views to yourself<
        Mmmm....NO. This is your first blunder! BZZZT! Sorry. Actually, most of my views eventually find their way out, often in "test-patterns" that seek to elicit a response from people without provoking them to link any pin-able opinion on me. I often test my views for social acceptability. Sound shallow? No. I'm just testing the water...and smoetimes I venture to the deep end too. That's because as a Uranus/Pluto-in-Libra-in-the-10th House- person it is my cosmic DUTY to learn about common philosophy, obliterate, and requisition it's subsequent replacement with something better. I am a cosmic karmic OSHA Inspector. Your systems are outdated. Kindly replace them for the good of all or be shut down until you do. And I will print my findings in the local newspaper until everyone realizes how it's for the benefit of all.
        >Saturn hasn't entered into Libra to place judgement... WOLF!!!<
        Allan, my Saturn is in Taurus.
        >With the planets layed out like that, you might get fourtine from others misfourtine, or be able to build on other peoples failed ideas, and that is an awsome gift!!!<
        Misfortune from other's fortune, huh... Christ. This is the part that is SO true. I hang my head in shame by accepting the label "awesome gift" to describe it. But it has always seemed somewhat true. I get involved in things which kind of threaten to dorwn everyone involved, but I always come out on top...and I often wonder: What did I do to deserve this privelege? I shake my head,
        Oops, gotta go!
        I'll be around.
          It was MEM who about 3 years ago told me about Lilith....
          I have read what I can and I still don't understand Lilith. Recently I was speaking to an old friend who is a professional astrologer, has been for the last 35 years. I asked him about Lilith which was one of his fields of study of some years.
          It was his opinion that the effects and darkness of Lilith was more myth than fact, sort of the folk lore of astrology.
          What he said was the real culprit is Pluto. That what most astrologers attribute to Lilith could best be explained by Pluto.
          I would be interested in finding if other astrologers feel the same.
            Lilith & Pluto ~ from "Interpreting Lilith" by Delphine Gloria Jay
            (specifically, this book is on the Black Moon Lilith ~ hypothetical second moon of Earth ~ but IMO can be applied to Dark Moon Lilith also)
            Ruling the more sophisticated creative desire nature, Lilith distinctly appears to be a mode of transmission for the awakening & IMpersonalizing influence of Uranus ~ upper octave of Mercury & for the transformational ray of Pluto ~ upper octave of the Moon: the combination of which, is observed to produce from Lilith like sudden compulsive changes, as the interaction of these two planets describe ~ the effect of which is dependent on one's ability to successfully depersonalize. As the Moon personalizes, Lilith DEpersonalizes, to result in a certain amount of and for sophisticating the awareness.
            Through Pluto, the generational challenge marker in the chart, succeeding generations answer to unconscious peer group urges concerning through what (according to sign) to establish further human development along the evolutionary spectrum. Call it the same "drummer" they all hear. It is through Luna, the avenue of the "feelings", that they perceive it, each of course in an individual way. However, under conditions that call for emotionally maturing disciplines, it is Lilith that opens further the subjective feeling nature to the reactive "thought" nature; in other words, to subconscious thinking along which intuition may naturally flow. It is through Lilith that they 'know' it. This type of mind attunement or 'knowing', flows from the subconscious, but from the deeper region of Lilith in the creative desire nature. Lacking a better word, we can call this the subliminal level beyond the immediate emotional one ~ a level that remains darkened (denying) to our total awareness, until the mental channels have been cleared of emotional static. Under these conditions, positive talent rises from the social-collective self.
              the book is about DARK Moon Lilith ~ the 2nd, hypothetical moon of Earth ~ but IMO can also be applied to Black Moon Lilith ~ the empty center of the Moon's elliptical orbit around Earth
        No, I mean a man's ACTUAL Lilith, Lilith as we are discussing here...placed in a woman's chart through synastry.
        I wonder what that would do in a relationship.
          Maybe important women in their life have their lilith triggering important points in the males chart? A person that is their match but in an equal way, not the "usual" "complementary" way, but an actual match. I guess that almost insinuates a competition or something but then again that's why Adam had such a problem in that myth. I think for both people there could be a sence that this person is their "equal" in all ways and that thought can be scary or frightening. I read somewhere that its the type of woman that a man may be afraid of but has always sought but doesn't know if can handle, perhaps because of the equality/demand of equality/freedom to be whoever thing. Personally I've seen some stuff about this...I think all of this goes for both sexes though, but soceital/personal expectations of women make this a sexist sort of issue.
    Let me preface this by saying that I know a lot more about the mythology of Lilith than I do about the astrological effects of the Liliths. Here's my understanding, for what it's worth:
    First, there are three (if not four) distinct astrological Liliths - the asteroid, the dark moon, and the black moon. (Lilith is also an ancient name for the star Caput Algol, for those into fixed star astrology; this is deemed the "most unfortunate" star in the heavens).
    The asteroid Lilith seems to represent, more generally: power, lust, negotiation and manipulation, dominance and repression, and the subconscious or unconscious mind. I would hazard a guess that the amount of influence is determined more by placement in the chart than by your gender.
    The dark moon is the blank focus of the moon's orbit and is more strongly associated with sacrifice and release. Of the various Lilith phenomena, this one seems to me to be the least influenced by gender.
    The black moon Lilith is the moon's apogee point, and represents emotional intelligence. Of the various Liliths, this one seems to me the most likely to function differently based on your gender.
      Hi Gwynna ~
      Great synopsis! I've been researching Lilith & I agree with the way that you 'levelled' the different Liliths ~ I have a question about the difference between your Dark Moon & Black Moon Liliths (I tend to refer to them as DMLilith & BMLilith ~ but they still confuse me!)....
      what do you see as different between the "blank focus of the moon's orbit" & the "moon's apogee point"?
      www.astro.com isn't very clear on the subject, using both 'black' & 'dark' to describe the same point:
      The Moon travels along an elliptical path around the Earth. An ellipse has two focal points, and the other focal point, not occupied by the Earth has been called the Dark Moon, the Black Moon or Lilith. This is a slightly simplified definition, since, actually, the Moon and the Earth both move around their common centre of gravity, and the path of the Moon is not a neat ellipse, but a rather wobbly affair.
      www.astro.com/astrology/in_lilith_e.htm
      from what I have found ~ I think you are describing two different Liliths, but are using one astronomical definition ~ split in two. As far as I know (which ISN'T very far! ~ I'm back at the drawing board, again, with this) DMLilith is the second, hypothetical & controversial second moon of earth....
      I'm super interested in other peoples' (especially astrologers & people who know something of Lilith) reactions and/or differing interpretations on all of this..... I'm not really looking for one 'right' answer as much as noting the 'field/cloud of possibilities' surrounding the singularity called 'Lilith'
        Thanks! You wrote: "what do you see as different between the "blank focus of the moon's orbit" & the "moon's apogee point"? "
        You are correct in your explanation of the blank focus of the ellipse (and it's not quite an ellipse, and the moon doesn't revolve around the earth - the two are corotational around a point called LaGrange One, if I recall correctly). The apogee point of an orbital body is the point where it is furthest in its orbit from the object it rotates around, which is different from the blank focus of the elliptical path of the orbit. The point at which the two bodies are closest is called the perigee; farthest away, the apogee.
    Ok...
    After further brainstorming I think that Lilith in a man's chart show's how he feels a woman might play hard to get. As I said, it DOES show the "wolf" in him, just like it shows cunning tendencies in a female-chart....
    ...so Lilith in a man's chart shows how he expects a woman to be cunning, whether or not she truly is.
    The wolf shows up one morning before a flock of sheep.
    Instiantly he begins to assume the sheep might know of his presence and be uncomfortable, so instantly he begins to plan his tactics to put the sheep at ease....and he puts on his own "Acme Sheep Suit: for wolves only".
    So as Lilith in a woman's chart shows how she is cunning, ruthless, and plays hard to get...Lilith in a man's chart shows how he EXPECTS a woman to exude these qualities and adjusts and modifies his own behavior accordingly in order to conquer her.
    I think a man's Lilith placed in a woman's chart through synastry shows how she experiences him as a predator. In some cases she may find it humorous, or even a turn-on. In some cases it could be repulsive and unethical to her.
    But such are the thorns and vines of love.
      I think its hard to get a definition because I think Lilith is so personal and has such a multifacited personality. Either way she behaves in a way that's a little out of the norm of society or very independent, strong and fiesty. Personally I think Lilith embodies a strong and fiesty energy that is very independant and won't let anyone get away with anything (or something in particular). I think she is the epitome of independence more so than Uranus. Uranus is a charmer, salesman, quirky, a scientist whose independence and weirdness, is just accepted because of his other traits-Uranus is soceity-approved quirkiness, society-approved independence. Lilith is not, therefore I think Lilith is *more independent* or at least stronger about her independence.
      Uranus uses his magic, his charisma and charm and personality to "get away" with such independence. I don't think Lilith gives a damn. She's very in your face and real. Why should I have to change or pretend she asks? She may have magic but she will be whatever she wants and not play those soceital Libra games or Uranian rules of magic and pleasing and charm. She will be as independent and as strong and fiesty and as different even if it means she is the only one-with an energy and almost vengence that can't be explained. I think she expects to be the only one. This is not accepted. This isn't what society wants. This isn't really not fair to Lilith. But I think she's real enough to understand life isn't fair and all pretty, esp. if you want to be yourself and real.
      Personally my bf's lilith is in conj. my Vesta, MC, n. node and my Lilith (conj. Venus) is in his first house but far from his Asc. I haven't seen what you're seeing, but we all know it's up to the charts involved. Also, I think Lilith throws something else in. I think she has a very individual approach. Because she isn't easily accpeted socially, esp. in certain societies or with certain persons because of their upbringing, HOW A PERSON HANDLES LILITH, will show how it effects them AS WELL as their chart and aspects within it. She isn't accepted socially so I think she deals with *individuals* in society instead.
      Sherpa in one posts said that she is standing outside the world f*cking with us, or something to that nature. I think I might have commented that I think she's more like Pluto, that she is eventually helpful but she's real and can be painful. Also I may have said that since she is "outside of the world" or was kicked out she now prefers to deal with people *individually* in order to make changes- unlike Pluto who can change entire masses because of the slowness of his transit. I think Lilith is strong in certain individuals and uses these individuals to make a societal changes, to change society so that it is more equal to her liking. And perhaps because of this want to create a change she is very individual WITH EVERYONE. Either way she is individual with everyone. All of this is why I say Lilith is very personal and one on one. I think she works with you and *how you take her* can warp or improve your understanding of her and yourself-your own Lilith, as well as relationships with others. Many in astrology out there feel that Lilith's influence on relationships is underrated.
              From my experience, I don't think Lilith in a man's chart making contact with a woman's planets, through synastry, makes for the negative connection described below. But, it's also crucial to remember all of our synastry ties with others are very complicated, so it's difficult to zero in on specific planets and asteroids, since they are modified by other contacts.
              That said, I currently have a huge crush on/ attraction for a man where there's lots of Lilith. His asteroid Lilith is conjunct my sun; his dark moon and black moon Liliths are opposite my moon and conjunct his own moon; my asteroid Lilith is conjunct his venus; and my dark moon and black moon Lilith's square his N/ S Node axis and are opposite his asteroid Lilith. There may be more Lilith contacts than that, but there's lots of Lilith.
              I have to say we have very good rapport. There seems to be lots of good feelings between us, and he really seems to like and trust me professionally. Romantically, I can' speak for him, but part of the reason I started to become interested in him was his flirting and lingering eye contact. I just don't think he hates me, finds me repulsive or sees me as this terrifying threat people are talking about in association with Lilith. Also, I don't feel that he especially sees me as more of a powerful "match" for him, as in a woman who is his equal to be reckoned with. This might be because I'm in a subordinate role to him, but, in all honesty, aside from that, I actually feel like he is more powerful than me in many ways, or like I want him to be more powerful than me too, and want to look up to him. It's one of the first times where I've actually felt like deep down I wasn't stronger then the man. He seems to be more the Lilith force, of course I can't speak for him.
              Anyway, maybe Lilith is like the planets--there are positive and negative expressions natally and through synastry. Maybe Lilith can signify both hate and disgust AND attraction and deep bonding, depending on the people involved.
              • Re: Lilith in a Males Chart
                Thu, May 17, 2007 - 8:46 PM
                I don't think a match is someone that should be reckoned with, but a few "Adam" types who only are comfortable with an "Eve" and never an equal might.
                Subordinate role? Like a work one?
                <<I actually feel like he is more powerful than me in many ways, or like I want him to be more powerful than me too, and want to look up to him. It's one of the first times where I've actually felt like deep down I wasn't stronger then the man. He seems to be more the Lilith force, of course I can't speak for him.>>
                Yeah I'd say unless you have been this way with another guy/other guys the strength/prominent position of his Liliths to your chart might be helping create these feelings. However, you may want to ask him what's going on his end. He may be feeling the same thing you are or want you to be more of an equal, who knows.
                <<Anyway, maybe Lilith is like the planets--there are positive and negative expressions natally and through synastry. Maybe Lilith can signify both hate and disgust AND attraction and deep bonding, depending on the people involved. >>
                That's what I've seen. Two things really: wanting someone to be more powerful/equal so wanting them to be stronger (mostly only mentally and emotionally) and having them reject that and others having issues with me being powerful/an equal (mostly only emotionally/mentally) rejecting parts of me. But two times I have met that match and one ran away (I'm sure we had a big Lilith connection) and the other I think I'm with. But then again my Lilith is conj. Venus in Pisces which rules my 7th house but in my 6th house which is ruled by equality and independence loving Aquarius.
    While my Lilith is conjunct that >*expletive*< Lynda Carter's Ascendant, my own mother's Lilith is conjunct MY Ascendant and Neptune in Saggitarius. Oh, lucky me.
    I don't like my mother too much.
    I don't even talk to her very much.
    I really JUST DON'T LIKE HER. Simple as that.
    I feel little sense of loss, and I have no intention of making her part of my life any time soon.
    I don't even think of her, not even on Mother's Day.
    ...and I have very little true guilt about it, because I truly do NOT care.
    She's lazy.
    She doesn't work.
    She has no other children besides me.
    She doesn;t even do much for her family, except out of duty and guilt.
    She has strong opinions that have no experience behind them.
    She doesn't accept responsibility for her role in arguements.
    ...and she thinks all these things are cute. That's her way out. If that doesn;t work, then she hates you.
    Her Lilith will never EVER get respect from me.
    And it DOES bother her even though she won't do anything about it, because she's a true >*expletive*<.
    Lilith doesn't want you to see her real pain. She knows she is weak beneath the artificial independent exterior, and that she has simply lost to a better woman.
    I enjoy watching Lilith burn in hell, because the truth is...she is (even though she'll never admit it). And THAT'S something you can count on. Lilith has her own private hell which she creates out of her selfishness. Ha ha ha! Aint it great? };-) All you have to do is know that she knows that you know, and then you know what her private language is all about.
    Lilith blazed the first trail to Hell.
    Help her get there faster, if she won't cooperate.
      This seems like a broad generalization of Lilith (and also women) based exclusively on your mother, which reads to me like a very dangerous way of thinking. It's certainly terrible that your mother was like that, but generalizations of others based upon one person's failings are usually pretty rocky terrain.
      I have a hard time believing Lilith is ALL bad. It seems like there are a variety of ways - which have been discussed - in which she could function in a positive manner. I'm certain these are not always the case, in terms of how she functions, but I am unwilling to accept a completely negative interpretation, either.
      Maybe some of this is stubborn refusal based on fear, because BMLilith is 2 deg. conjunct my Ascendant, so I feel like she must be something very personal to me, even though I don't understand her yet... I would very much like to, but I'm not going to embrace an "evil woman" stereotype in order to do so, even if I must accept many negative/dark characteristics.
      I feel like I always bring these things back to myself (me, me, me, blah...), but if anyone has any ideas about what BMLilith conjunct a person's own Ascendant (or just in the 1st house, even) would suggest, I would deeply appreciate hearing... I read a lot of the same keywords about BMLilith, but can't seem to form a clear picture of what her impact would be like for me. I have gathered that, on the Ascendant, she might make me appear very unapproachable or mysterious or dangerous (the latter of which is certainly not how I see myself, though some "unapproachablility" is undeniable). She completely eludes me, overall, however. I feel like I'm missing something essential in order to interpret this position, and it's sort of aggravating, because it feels like it would be so insightful to understand her...
        I don't think Lilith is ideally "bad" either.
        It's in the way that you use it.
        The example above was just my mother as an example of a way one person expresses her Lilith. Everyone has a Lilith.
        Another person might express their Lilith with humour and good nature. Being concious of your own "demons" is the key to making them work for you and not against you. OPne thing about my mother is she is completely unaware of Lilith playing her game within her. She turns into a banshee when faced with herself. This is an example of an unhealthy, repressed Lilith...but still if one applies one's imagination, one can imagine how Lilith might be in different circumstances. That's why a variety of extremely detailed cases are important in order to really understand the various ways an astrological body could manifest.
        Some people might be perfectly well aware of the generally negative energy Lilith gives them. So they learn to tone it down while still still giving Iilith expression. If you KNOW you have a nail sticking out of a certain place on you floor, you can still walk to the bathroom at night without gouging yourself. But you can't just extract Lilith like you can a nail. A responsible perosn who wants a comfortable relationship has to be honest with theirself and their significant other(s) so these things don't get in the way.
        A person with a repressed Lilith has Lilith which is operating undercover within them, has Lilith which does NOT want to be undermined and exposed. A person who has developed their character around a repressed Lilith is going exhibit the equalities of Lilith more deviously. They will be more likely to exhibit extremes in behavior when someone happens along and exposes Lilith in the middle of her game.
          Those were some very intriguing thoughts on Lilith. Awareness and repression are especially interesting in gergards to how Lilith would operate in a person.
          I guess I'd misinterpreted your previous one as being generalizing, rather than refering to only a specific case (and maybe whichever others out there are like it). My mistake. I can see your views much more clearly now, after this last post, which is great.
          Uranus in Pisces,
          Yes, a subordinate relationship at work is what I was referring to.
          As far as having these feelings with other men before, well, maybe it relates to all of my Scorpio but I often have a thing for power dynamics between me and a man I'm attracted to. This does not mean that I actually want them to be able to thwart my will or boss me around the rest of my life (that wouldn't work out), but I do like feeling a man is strong and powerful, and I also like feeling like a man wants to protect me (even if that sounds anti-feminist; I think it might have biological roots). I also cannot stand feeling like I am stronger than a man. That said, I like knowing I have a power over him--even a subtle power like that of attraction or knowing I affect his emotions. Anyway, all of these power dynamics seem highlighted with this particular man. He's also a Scorpio sun, so maybe that plays into it. This is all really hard to analyze and explain, esp. because I am kind of confused by my feelings for him. All I know is he seems to be the more Lilith force towards me (even if I could ask him, I really doubt he wants me to be more of an "equal" or sees me as a threat or repulsive).
          And I also think it is really significant that such strong Lilith contacts between us have not expressed themselves in the negative ways expressed below.
          Gogolesque,
          I really like your take on Lilith--that it represents the Animus/ Anima in relationships and the shadow within ourselves. There is definitely some Animus stuff going on for me with this guy. I can see a lot of my deep down "masculine" qualities that I don't really express fully expressed by him. I would also add to it . . . hmmm, this is interesting insight . . . that I feel he also might (not sure about this) express some, just some, of my shadow qualities. Rather than being scared of it, though, I'm attracted to it. Maybe Lilith even represents the shadow in synastry? It's strange that I'm so strongly attracted to someone who I think might have some of my shadow qualities. Maybe my Animus and my shadow are friends, so to speak, so I like seeing them in one person? Thanks for the food for thought.
      B ~
      Lilith in Virgo, 10th house:
      LILITH IN VIRGO blurs objectivity and lets you express criticism at wrong places/times, perhaps. You simply don't want to commit yourself, and are very orientationless regarding occupation and partnership. Other people may get confused by you because this confusing position produces paradoxes in almost all areas of life. You perhaps tend hopelessly between commitment and an urge for autonomy, between social contacts and retreat from them. On the other hand, psychological and analytic abilities are almost unsurpassably strong, and your intuition beats everything. Unfortunately the possibility exists that you are not conscious about your abilities, or that you don't want to admit them.
      LILITH IN THE 10th HOUSE lets you gladly manipulate other people. You strive for fame, power, and status, but may not recognize the side effects of these things, or you recognize them, but suppress and/or don't admit to them at the same time. The result can be problems, restrictions and, in the long run, bitterness and discord, which you are sure to consider an interference factor in your life. Either you don't accept that another one has power over you, or you are not conscious about others that use their power to disadvantage you at all. You are likely to be constantly in conflict with authority figures, if you are aware of this, because you need much freedom. You also could avoid partnerships or allow them to exist only on a friendship level. Your demands are probably much too high, and you overload yourself with responsibilities within the areas of partnership and public relations. This position tempts to taboo breaking, to a questioning of conventions, and attraction to undemocratic social structures.
      I didn't bother to try & figure out which Lilith you are referring to, as these interpretations are pretty general anyways & IMO a conjunction of 7 degrees is too large of an orb to use with Lilith ~ I would use 3 degrees at a maximum & consider the fact that there are a few different values (mean, true & interpolated) that can be calculated
        LILIT VERA will act in diorection, horary and synastry, especially when in conjunction or square. Cassini Lilith is NOT THE SAME for women or men, e.g. in a LUNAR YEARLY direction, Moon square LILIT VERA will cause menstrual problems. This direction, even tertiary lunar, will later on provoke problems with law. Thus LILIT VERA in direction causes REAL MENSTRUAL PROBLEMS. albeit it does not exist it has benn observed, how absurrd. lulu.com/astrology
          Which Lilith are you talking about? There is a French Lilith, and every astrologer seems to have his own version. Lilith is feminine?
            My Lilith is in the 8th house in Gemini. It squares Pluto in the 10th and Venus in the 11th both in Virgo. It's opposition my Jupiter but trine my true node. Considering it's in my 8th house, let the lover beware. Interestingly my real name means Lily and one of my two soul mates always refers to me as his Lilith and always has. In his case it's not only very true but also very ironic.
            One soul mate has Lilith in the 12th house Aquarius (which should never have a problem with Lilith) conj his Sun, opposition his Pluto in his 6th house (from his 12th that is just damn scary), and square his moon and true node. Oh well, he likes me just fine and has never had any problem with how strong I am.
            The other one has Lilth in 10th house Sag. It's sextile Mercury, trine Venus and sextile asc. Funny. I met him at work and we communicate wonderfully. I think I fascinate him and frighten him at the same time. I guess the aspecting doesn't mean much then because the other one has never been intimidated by me in the least.
            Still, they are both Aquarians (like the others) and I don't think Lilith is capable of running of an Aquarian. They are more like just what the doctor ordered for a real Lilith personality because they don't mind a woman who is an equal, in fact the prefer it.
                >>The ideal Lilith has her effect on the male chart by making him attracted and attractive to strong women. A fair contact with proud and impressive women is no problem for him. A sign for a positive development of Lilith in the male horoscope seems to be, that more and more men get involved in the adventure of being there at child-birth, to consciously accompany their partner, to stand at her side throughout this deeply touching experience and to remain strong in the face of this female initiation. A typical remark of somebody with underdeveloped Lilith-forces concerning birth would be: "No I can't look at it - I wouldn't be able to feel sexual desire for my partner any more!" <<
                h13 lilith in leo, late in my 9th makes a square to my natal scorpio mars and is trine/sextile (respectively) my natal jupiter/saturn opposition
                for better or worse, i've failed to shy away from more than one strong willed woman . . . deserved or otherwise, the consequences have been less than boring.
                Also worth noting that childbirth (and midwifery) have figured prominently in my life, in one manner or another, over a span of 4 decades .
    I have a grand cross including most notably my Cancer Lilith 9th house opposite Capricorn Moon 3rd house. And I have a lot of destructive programming concerning women. Fear, conflict, over-appreciation. I have always seen women as the stronger sex. I have extremely skewed irrational ideas, seeing women exclusively as the "choosers", and men as the "pleasers". I have always been under the impression that men need women, more than women need men. That's why I feel they have a advantage on us. Also, in terms of friendship, I have never even looked at women. It's one of these very twisted ideas about genders I have.
    I show most of the signs of caligynephobia (fear of beautiful women). They just intimidate me, especially strong-willed, emotionally impulsive fiery women. Sometimes I can just be overwhelmed by their straightforwardness. Attraction and intimidation goes hand to hand for me. Just the presence of a beautiful woman in the same room makes me extremely anxious.
    I have a negative relationship to my mother also. She's not the most responsible person, and she is very manipulative. My brother can't stand her, but me, I fall for her guilt traps most of the time, or rather I can see what she's doing, but I feel like I owe her my help, despite her manipulative ways.
    Does anything of this sound like a Lilith issue?
      Hi Alex ~
      Yes, it does sound like you have some Lilith issues ~ but, I also see some moon/Cancer issues & IMO it would be 'easier' to start there in untangling all of that. Here's a newsletter I regularly receive ~ this one mostly concerns Cancer ~ even tho most people identify with one physical gender ~ everyone is actually a mix of both masculine & feminine energy ~ it seems to me that not only are you estranged from your mother, but you are also having difficulties with your own feminine polarity ~ right now is a *perfect* time to start making peace within yourself ~ I hope this helps!
      I. COSMIC IMPERATIVES
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      CANCER NEW MOONS

      There are two Cancer new moons this year. The first is June 22 at 1 degree Cancer. The second is a solar eclipse July 21-22 at 29 degrees Cancer. Two new moons are in the same sign signify an evolutionary awakening in the domain of that archetype. The potent second new moon, which is also a total solar eclipse and a SuperMoon, induces a major transformation in consciousness.

      Ruled by the ever-changing Moon and the first water sign, the Cancer archetype embodies the sacred feminine. Cancer represents the Goddess and the female polarity of the universe and our soul. These two new moons plus the Capricorn full moon/ lunar eclipse (July 7) are major markers for the re-emergence of the empowered feminine.

      EVOLUTIONARY AWAKENING

      Embracing the highest expressions of the Divine Feminine is no longer wishful thinking. It is an evolutionary imperative. The energy is available, and embodying the feminine polarity of our soul is required to successfully move into the Aquarian age. The shift that is upon us is not the take over of the feminine at the expense of the masculine. The evolutionary imperative is to get in touch with and learn to express the highest qualities of both the male and female polarities of our soul. We must go deep into our own psyche to weed out the dysfunctions of both energies and to pull up the functional faculties that make it possible to live heart-centered and contributory lives.

      It is the inner synergy of the two basic universal energies in our psyche that make it possible for both men and women to experience wholeness. Both men and women must recalibrate their psyche. To become conscious human beings we must both do our inner work to activate and integrate the qualities and gifts of the two polarities. The truth is that to establish a deeper more authentic relationship with our inner feminine, a deeper more authentic relationship with our inner masculine is necessary.

      Our inner transformation makes it possible to reach an understanding of the past, to resolve longstanding issues and to achieve a degree of empowerment and freedom that we have not experienced before. Change or be changed is the underlying message. Either way, the result will be a shift in perception, a change in direction and the birth a new paradigm of reality. The more we expand our inner reality, the more possibilities become available in our outer reality. And the richer and more satisfying our lives become.

      A NEW PARADIGM

      A new paradigm is emerging because universal and Earth energies are changing. We are moving into the Aquarian age. And the Earth's vibration is moving up to the frequency of the heart chakra. As the energy shifts, we are all being supported in our personal transformation. The year 2012 is the date given for the transition into the Aquarian age. The world will not end! What will end is the energetic underpinning for the old way of thinking and doing things. The exploitation, domination and control of the masses by an elite, greedy patriarchy is losing its grip. We are already looking at things differently.

      The energetic grid on the planet is changing, and we must change with it. The more we resist, the more we experience confusion and create pain for ourselves. To align with the higher frequencies, we have to learn how to embody, to live and to create in the new energy field. To do so we have to do our inner work and adjust our life style to the demands of the times. We must also participate by sharing our gifts.

      To birth a new paradigm, we have to become conscious, to acknowledge our shadow and to bring the light of consciousness into that which we have denied, abused and neglected. We must upgrade our connection with and the expression of both the male and female polarities of our soul. We must develop the consciousness function of our mind (male polarity) to be able to embrace the feeling function of our physical and emotional bodies - the female polarity of our soul.

      CANCER AND THE DIVINE FEMININE

      In the northern hemisphere at the summer solstice and in the southern hemisphere at the winter solstice, the Sun envelops us in yin, mother Cancer energy. Cancer teaches us that inner connection is required to nurture our soul. The Cancer archetype is about creating a loving environment to protect and nourish our soul and its creations.

      Cancer represents the womb. Ruled by the Moon, Cancer expresses our ever-changing watery emotions. Our moods and feelings unfold like the cycle of creation. The creative cycle invariably moves from conception, to incubation, birth, growth, maturity, growing old and completion. The Cancer archetype embodies the mysteries of birth, creation, evolution and death.

      The Cancer archetype is associated with the goddess and the Divine Mother. These Cancer new moons are part of the evolutionary movement toward re-introducing the goddess archetype into our psyche. This shift transcends gender issues and relationship quibbles. This is not about a man/woman supremacy battle. This is part of the evolutionary process to relate to the Divine in terms of both its male and female qualities.

      THE BALSAMIC HUSH

      Three nights before every new moon, the Moon disappears. During this Balsamic phase there is no moon. We are in the dark, while we make the transition from the old to the new. A similar phenomenon happens as we shift astrological ages. Until 2012 we are in the 'Balsamic phase' at the end of the Piscean age. During this transition time we may seem lost in the dark and challenged to find a new path to the light.

      This is an opportune time to look into the darkness of our unconscious and to find our hidden and unexpressed male and feminine qualities. While the Sun is in Cancer, we are supported in giving value to and deeply experiencing our
      (1) innate sensitivities,
      (2) our emotions,
      (3) our feelings and
      (4) our instinctual awareness that communicates for the feminine polarity of our soul.

      THE STABLE NEUTRAL MALE POLARITY

      It is most interesting that the Sabian symbol for this new moon - 2 degrees Cancer is "A man on a magic carpet hovers over a large area of land; the ability to expand one's consciousness by stabilizing one's point of view at a higher level." *(1) This describes the essential essence of the male polarity - expanded consciousness, stable, higher level of awareness, the observer. We must develop these qualities in our neutral mind to embrace our inner feminine.

      The re-emergence of the elevated expression of the male polarity is energetically supported by the rare rendezvous of JUPITER, CHIRON, and NEPTUNE in Aquarius. This conjunction was exact at the Gemini new moon May 24. These 3 planets meet in Aquarius only once every few thousand years. *(2) The focused energy of a conjunction signals the ending a cycle and the birth of a new era.

      The effects of this conjunction are extended through February 2010, while the three planets are within 10 degrees of each other. Aquarius embodies mental/male energy and expresses the highest qualities of the male polarity - freedom, unity and equality. The water bearer is the vessel for the down pouring of knowledge, wisdom and innovative ideas from the universal mind.

      CAPRICORN FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE - JULY 7

      Eclipses are extra powerful full and new moons. "The more precise the planetary alignment, the more concentrated is the electromagnetic channel and the clearer the pathways for transformation." *(3) During a lunar eclipse, the Earth blocks the solar radiation to the Moon. The energetic blackout dissolves and changes energy patterns and expands our consciousness.

      Eclipses intensify the effects of full and new moons. Optimally Full moons create the possibility of synergy between the two complementary signs. However, to get us to this state of integration, Full moons also serve the function of exposing the shadow side of the signs of the Sun and the Moon.

      CANCER AND CAPRICORN SHADOWS

      Cancer's shadow or immature expressions include
      (1) wounded emotions that control and sabotage our best intentions,
      (2) inability to be direct and honest,
      (3) trying to get our needs met by sacrifice and indirect communication, and
      (4) denial of and inability to appropriately express and use the energy of our emotions.

      Our emotions are energy in motion. If this primal energy of our soul does not flow freely and if we do not embody it through conscious feeling in our body, it stagnates and creates dis-ease and stress. During a full moon our repressed emotions surface as extreme moods, intense anxiety and sometimes violence. The emotions embody the water element which cleanses, receives, stores and releases energy. There is abundant power in our emotions. Our challenge is to learn to use this energy productively.

      The dark side or shadow of Capricorn includes
      (1) irresponsibility,
      (2) miss use of authority,
      (3) the need to control, dominate and be number one,
      (4) shame,
      (5) blame and
      (6) guilt.

      This full moon/lunar eclipse brings to our attention the negative and immature expressions of both the male and the female energies. It also alerts us to the need to return to the higher expressions of the two polarities of our soul. The less desirable expressions of the male polarity have dominated, controlled, manipulated and exploited the Earth and our psyche for millennium. This situation must and will change!

      CREATING A NEW INNER PARADIGM

      Although Capricorn has been co-opted by the patriarchy as male, both Capricorn and Cancer are feminine, yin signs. These two complementary signs work together to nurture, protect and serve life. This lunar eclipse directs us to try another formula based on integrity, equality, cooperation, compassion and caring, and to let go of greed, domination, control and fear. The message is that we must build a sustainable, equitable and caring future.

      We can each contribute to building a new world by relating to ourselves differently. To create a new inner paradigm we can start by treating our inner feminine (our body, emotions and feelings) with compassion, kindness and caring.

      II. Inner Feminine Awakening
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      EMBRACING OUR FEMININE POLARITY
      To embrace the feminine polarity of our soul, we must train ourselves to be in the feeling flow of the energy of our emotional body. It is an on-going process to get to know, befriend and love our feelings and emotional body.
      Below I summarize some of the essential steps to direct your awareness (male) and feeling faculty (female) to embrace and embody your feelings and the feminine polarity of your soul.
      [1] Neutral Mind
      Move into your neutral mind. (I have covered this in Guru Rattana On-line lessons and in previous NMBeings.)
      Connect with your awareness of pure consciousness - the clear, open space in your mind.
      Tune into and focus on the qualities of neutrality, non-judgment, stillness and stability.
      [2] Observer Pays Attention
      Use the observer faculty of your neutral mind to pay attention to what you are feeling, without judging. Judgment and the lack of attention are two of the main ways that our mind (inner male) abuses our emotional body (inner female.)
      Be very attentive to the state of your emotional body. You may notice painful feelings, which indicates some form of trapped negative emotion, i.e. fear in your emotional body.
      No stories! Stories, analysis, judgment all take you back to your rational mind. And then you are no longer paying attention to your feelings. Our female polarity does not like that!
      [3] Identify Your Fear
      There are many forms of fear. The pain of fear can be felt as impatience, anxiety, restlessness, irritation, unease, dread, depressed, annoyed, hurt, anger, rage, defensiveness, need to be right, aggressiveness, lack, incompleteness, neediness, possessiveness.
      Sometimes it is useful to identify our fear or to label our feelings so we can identify what is going on in our emotional body. This is especially useful in the beginning to move us out of denial of our primal emotions - fear, anxiety, sadness, anger.
      Be very careful, not to judge, analyze, evaluate, try to rationalize or make up stories about what you feel. Our goal is simply to recognize and be honest about the nature of our feelings and to acknowledge how we are currently expressing fear.
      [4] Acknowledge Your Feelings
      Be honest and truthful. In the initial phases of this process, rarely do we feel comfortable with what we feel in our body. We feel some form of fear.
      The good news is that our feelings are always changing. Stay with them and watch how they shift. Sometimes simply by paying attention, the discomfort disappears.
      Our emotional body will not go away, either by ignoring it or by escaping into our rational mind. Our mental stories and thoughts feed and perpetuate the pain.
      Being in our neutral mind is essential, but not the entire solution. Watching, acknowledging and accepting (male polarity) it is not enough. We must move into allowing and feeling (our female polarity) to completely embrace our emotions.
      [5] Listen Deeply
      Listen deeply. Isolate and identify each sound that you hear.
      Listen to the sounds within the sounds.
      Listening opens up your feeling faculty.
      Feel the vibration of the sounds in your body.
      [6] Allow Your Feelings
      Move from neutral observing to allowing. Allowing releases resistance and opens the space for your e-motional energy to flow. Allowing requires being deeply present to your feelings.
      Allowing is a major breakthrough. Allowing is a feminine function. We move from mental observation to feeling connection with our emotional body.
      [7] FEEL and EXPERIENCE Your Emotions and Feelings
      In an allowing mode, FEEL and EXPERIENCE the energy that is your emotional body. The pain we feel in our emotional body is our resistance (non-allowing) and our life force that is bound up in fear.
      Go deeply into each sensation.
      Go back to sensations and feel their subtle attributes.
      Feel the feelings within the feelings.
      Allow every feeling. Some feelings will be uncomfortable. Feel them anyway.
      Turn your awareness to the feelings that you avoid.
      Feel and listen attentively to those feelings.
      Notice how you block certain feelings and how you escape into your mind and exit your body. When your mind wanders, simply return your attention to feeling various parts of your body.
      Continue isolating, allowing and being with every feeling/sensation for as long as your attention permits and until you notice shifts.
      [8] Rhythmic Exercises
      Do rhythmic exercises and breathing to bring your emotional body in to a rhythmic flow.
      Our liberated feminine polarity is rhythmic and flowing. Our emotional energy gets unstuck and releases into aliveness through moving in a rhythmic, flowing manner. Spinal flexes are a great exercise to generate the feeling of rocking yourself as a child. Shaking and dancing also help loosen up the stuck energy.
      Spinal rotations and heart twists are also easy and effective rhythmic exercises. Do every moving exercise (and walking) with a rhythm that soothes your body. Do moving exercises in a loving way that generates pleasurable feelings in your body.
      [9] Bring Light into Your Feelings
      Bring the light of consciousness to your emotional body. Do so by being present to the Light in your mind and expanding this light to include your physical and feeling bodies. Do so also by going deeply into neutral, stillness, stability and silence and feeling these essence energies embrace your body and feelings.
      [10] Kindness and Self-love
      Befriending our emotional body requires being kind to ourselves. The most effective and absolutely necessary emotional work that we can do is to be KIND, GENTLE AND LOVING with ourselves. In self-kindness we become aware of our subtle energies, and they begin to relax and flow.
      Use the above directives (not all at once) during your Kundalini yoga practice. Set your intention while the Sun is in Cancer to embrace and embody the feminine polarity of our soul. Enjoy the process of awakening the goddess within.
        Thx!
        One thing about that text hit me. If I look at my mind as the male and my emotions as the female, then I have abused the female part of me pretty badly. The thing is, I tend to react according to my emotions a lot, but I always look down on my emotions whenever it happens.
        I think I know what "feeling my emotions" means now. When reading this, I was reminded of a threatening experience which occured some months ago. I don't really need to get into detail, but let's just say I was verbally assaulted by a person who had no respect whatsoever towards social ethics. Afterwards, I felt completely normal, or maybe a little anger towards that person. Anyway, music is usually a great way for me to bring out emotions, and on my way home, when I was listening to a certain music album, I had to stop myself from crying. And the important part isn't that I tried to stop myself. What's important is that I was actually crying, atleast on the inside, I was feeling my emotions. I realised then, that this person had hurt me more than I originally admitted. I mean why would I admit to myself that such a bastard could hurt me? A Cappy moon, like me would never admit that. It was something about the ambience of the music that was relevant to that experience, and I couldn't hold my emotions in anymore. I have never cried listening to that album before, so I know that the emotions I had felt during that experience must've been the trigger.
        I never really made much sense out of that experience until now. But I think I know now what it means to feel my emotions. Usually I just avoid my emotions because they are too intense. I have a Moon conjunct Neptune also, which might worsen my escapism.
        I have looked everywhere for solutions on "overcoming" my anxiety, my weakness, but maybe I should just handle it better. The biggest issue isn't really my anxiety, the biggest issue is how I react to it with extreme social escapism.
