With them moving through Aquarius, I have these two conjunct Saturn, moving into the 7th house. They have passed my Sun and Mars, but they did that individually. Sun/Mars and Saturn are the focal point of two T squares.
Also, my Aqua friend. Attie has this transit conjunct her Sun. It seems a difficult transit to integrate, or really, how do these two mesh? I find my self vacillating between buoyant hope and complete confusion...any thoughts on these transits? Both our charts are in our photos.

"I find my self vacillating between buoyant hope and complete confusion..."
Sounds about right for Jupiter-Neptune! It always seems like a confidently mystical combination to me, but with each of these "soft" planets, feelings of euphoria can be easily deflated. My wife was born with these two close and now has them conjunct her natal Mars. Of course Neptune has been there on and off for a few years, and Jupiter will cross it again in a few months. My dad also has these two crossing his natal Sun, while my mum has them crossing her Saturn shortly. Having little direct experience myself, their experiences are the best I have to go on, but I only have an accurate birth time for my wife out of all these.
Her energy has definitely been particularly dissipated for the last few years, and her efforts to get into a fitness regime have been thwarted by bouts of illness. Lately, she has resumed a long dormant interest in Belly dancing, getting into tribal fusion style which really suits her. I think it is fitting that the image and the culture go hand in hand with the activity itself, especially since this falls in her creative 5th house, and it has really given her the motivation she was lacking before. She has gotten really into making costumes, the makeup etc as well. The bouts of illness and allergies still knock her off schedule pretty regularly, but this seems to be improving (Neptune is separating after all). Having had chronic asthma most of her life the illness is not something new, but she seemed to be able to focus her energy more up until the last few years. I really think this is passing now but fingers crossed all the same!
Crossing Saturn, I would say these two planets are bringing about a dissolution in the structure of your life, where rules and boundaries seem hazy. Maybe doors that were long shut appear to mysteriously to open, only when you go through them you are not where you thought you would be. Try to make the most of it though, you could really make dreams come true, or just live in your head during a transit like this! -

Re: Jupiter+Neptune
Sun, November 1, 2009 - 10:32 PMJupiter and Neptune are in my first house. This somewhat gives me a sense of overall optimism (sometimes delusion, depending on what hehe) that things are going to work out with very little effort on my part.
Considering that in my natal chart I got both Mars and Venus on the MC and the 10th house Scorpio and all the planets in the top od my chart it's not surprising that I both attract worldly success and work hard for it as well. However, my energy levels have dipped with Neptune sweeping through my 1st which is interesting because it also trines my Mercury in the 8th. Neptune retrograde in May 2008 was when I started writing my novel.
I have been in a particularly escapist mood; wanting to just run away to Bali and just write my book. Neptune in the first does that. And it fits my purpose since it's received a grant in July! And that's when Uranus went retrograde in my 2nd house.

I have been with out (physical) illness, thank heaven, and really I find this remarkable because my transit is in the 6th house. However, my chart and make up indicate nervous system disorders over other illnesses. I hope your wife's health improves soon. I too enjoy dance and took up fire spinning a few years ago. I have not been practicing, but last weekend met up with a performance group who is headed up by a man I dated in high school, so maybe I'll get back into that. I also love to create costumes!
My discomfort seems to have been more cerebral, as well as manifesting in realtionships with others. I have been living in my head with my dreams for quite sometime, they are evolving, and becoming clearer constantly.
Last summer I had a interesting period of associative disorder (self diagnosed), after this period, my dreams became more than dreams to me. The expansion urged me to bring then into reality. At that point it was quite difficult for me to not act on them, and some realtionships that were "holding me back" from implementing my dreamy plans dissolved, but in a good way.
I can be full of ambition for a project (permaculture demonstration farm) that is very close to my heart, only to then not trust the Jupiterian inflation when Neptune kicks in. I suppose the root of my uncertainty is fear, and I recognize the affect that fear has on the soul's ambitions. So I muddle through the fearful times and keep my aim on my goal. Interesting too, that I moved (physically) to get this project underway (build foundations) only to have that plan swept aside when my Mother had a stroke. (dissolved foundations) This occurred after Jupiter and Neptune went Retro. Now with Jupiter forward again, and my Mother is more or less stabilized, I have returned to making my plans. I wonder what Neptune going forward will bring...yes, indeed doors are opening and closing...

Re: Jupiter+Neptune
Sat, October 31, 2009 - 1:54 PMIts been awhile since I've had planets converging by natal sun in 5th.
The interesting thing I notice over the years is my creativity has sometimes been influenced by relationships I was in, whether friendships or partnerships, its almost like the "muse effect" button switched on by the additional influence. Otherwise, I'm usually quietly going about life. -
-
Re: Jupiter+Neptune
Tue, November 3, 2009 - 8:25 AMMuse effect can happen when Neptune goes into a favourable aspect with a 'creative' planet such as Venus and even Mercury, or aspects other planets in the creativity houses such as 3rd and 9th houses. By muse effect, I mean a creative impact such that you focus on recording the ideas, and feelings, etc on paper or other media (writing, painting, etc).

Re: Jupiter+Neptune
Sun, November 1, 2009 - 10:41 PMI got a friend of mine who has an Aquarius sun opposite natal Saturn in Leo - 3rd-9th house axis. Jupiter/ Chiron and retrograde Neptune is making a conjunction opposite her natal Saturn.
She's having a major issue of delusion about a guy that she's last met several months ago, and last caught with two Filipina hostesses and was said to have paid/ dated an acquaintance who was a social escort! The only contact they have now is over the internet and smses; apparently he stalks her every now and then and she's still hoping he'd come back to her. I think it really messed with her because she is constantly caught in between the fantasy and reality of it all marked by Neptune's retrograde opposite her natal Saturn.
I hope with Neptune moving forward, she will get a clearer head and move on.

Re: Jupiter+Neptune
Sun, November 1, 2009 - 10:48 PMJupiter and Neptune do share some similarities, especially in their spirituality, idealism, intuition, religious influences, and deception. Jupiter is the traditional ruler of Pisces, and Neptune is the modern one.
I haven't had this transit square to my Mars, but an astrologer friend of mine did and he said that there is the danger of being set up in some situation in which you are likely to emerge as the loser. It is very important that one not be tempted to take short cuts or get involved in questionable deals or schemes. He had two experiences in his medical work where people tried to pull one over on him, but he luckily got out of it.
My transit is in the 8th and sextiles my Venus/Mars but squares my Sun and Uranus. It has been a very confusing time for me, and I'm still trying to figure out the real from the imaginary. -

Re: Jupiter+Neptune
Mon, November 2, 2009 - 12:02 AMI'm not sure about Jupiter representing deception as much as it represents idealism. Sometimes in promoting idealism you have to create a larger than life big picture; an exalted version of what COULD be a possible scenario ie; truth.
Unless anyone else has opinions on Jupiter and deception. -

Re: Jupiter+Neptune
Mon, November 2, 2009 - 12:08 AMIn traditional astrology Jupiter did also represent some of the negative sides of the signs that it rules (as well as the positive), which did include deception, especially self-deception. But you are right that nowadays Neptune is more focused on deception vs. Jupiter, which more likely tries to uncover the truth vs. cause an untruth. -

So, yes this is my question, but I do not think my optimism is blind. (Discalimer: we are talking about an Aquarian here ; )
But what if blind optimism is the whole point of Jupiter transits? What if people are too fearful to act on the optimism, and due to fear, they do not harness this glorious energy to further their souls intent?
I really find Neptune it fascinating how after my Uranus opposition blew my world up, I get Neptune moving on my personal planets to further dissolve the detritus and the Jupiter come in to help build anew, with Chiron asking me to teach this lesson to others. Also, Pluto is applying my 5th house Mercury and SN, I believe this transit has already manifested in the fact that nearly every day, I have to tell my Mother that my Father has died, as she cannot hold the information, and always asks about him.
As I related in my response to O'Ryan, I recently moved. Previously, I was living in areas that were rather progressive in their values, and I might say this was instrumental in maintaining my belief in my dreams, and fleshing then out towards reality. Others are doing a similar thing, why not I? My vision happens to be situated in a place where not many others are doing this sort of project. I have landed in a place that is conservative, requiring me to examine and prove my plans through more conservative channels. This has helped me to refine my vision and better elucidate it. -

I find transits to be THE MOST interesting area of Astrology... our birth chart not only indicates the make up of a soul, but how the native's transits (opportunities) will be applied throughout the life span. -

Wed, November 4, 2009 - 1:53 PMsounds like alchemy....
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): I would love it if you could find a sword that
could cut itself. Or a fire that could burn itself. Or some water you could
wash. But even if you can conjure the magic to attract an experience that
simply resembles one of those marvelous paradoxes, it would set in
motion a series of epiphanies that would liberate you from an inferior
paradox -- a confusing absurdity that is not worthy of you and that has
been draining your life force.

hello ! ~FaF~
Well then start rubbing kindness on your hands and give people the optimism cooties until it spreads .
Soon people are saying things like oh my optimism , last week I had optimism for three days and now I've found that my optimism has
developed into a chronic case of glorious energy filling me to my heart's content optimism and any minute optimism is going to spread
throughout my body and into my soul's intent.
Oh boundless joy! I have the strongest case known so it is a matter of time that people everwhere are going to be optimistic .
Optimism is just one of those things so we just have to face this and make peace with the fact that we have
optimism and it is growing and spreading.
for those who are unsure and fearful we can set up cheer support groups to help you through every step of the way.
One step at a time , its going to be alright we have optimism too and just because its symptoms are expressed in unique and creative
ways that doesn't mean that you don't have it already. You will give opitimism to those you love and have contact with.

This comment is interesting because that is a good description of jupiter/Neptune in Aquaris.
When a similar transit of pairs happen for me it was visitors who came and never left kind of thing . they just moved in and stayed until the planets where no longer a pair. It took me about three weeks to realize that their stuff was moved in .LOL!
Iwhere they lived was being repaired so their roommates there had them staying in the yard in a tent while the repairs where being done but it started raining so i said come on over while it is raining. The rain stopped within a day.

Re: Jupiter+Neptune
Fri, November 6, 2009 - 8:06 PM>>>
I find my self vacillating between buoyant hope and complete confusion...any thoughts on these transits?
>>>
The interesting thing has been that the con fusion is leading me towards letting go of certain hopes - only to find deeper and deeper sources instead!
Lots of dreams ... ideals ... vision ...
Now which of these might prove to endure and "pan out" I wonder?
I'd say neptune and jupiter together are quite expanding ... and they both rule pisces -so I would guess the hope and confusion might pertain to houses and planets in pisces.
In your case - maybe that saturnian influence could help bring things to a more practical level and help maintain important boundaries.
In fact ... with both mars and saturn t-squares to this kind of influence ... I'd think that you could get something pretty practical out of this neptune/pluto dreaminess and hope - with some effort anyway.
It wouldn't necessarily be easy - but this suddenly reminds me of the stuff you have been talking about with the conference and things. I don't know if it really relates for sure or not ... it just reminds me.
In my case - this configuration is quincunx to my natal neptune ...
I'm just allllllllllllllllllllllll over the place .... but I'm liking it for right now :-)
It can't last, though - but - I don't know what it would take to mitigate such an inluence as this!
I'm going to need better focus eventually ... I think?
Unless I can really do it all? live all the dreams? bring all the possibilities into reality? It sounds dubious ... but I don't see a good specific reason "why not" at the moment.
It is a bit frustrating though because as much as I try I'm not stretching enough to hold it all ... although I am continuing to streeeeeetch and stretch and stretch ... hopefully there will be no popping .... I think there's a leak or two starting, though ...
I think transiting saturn and pluto are all helping to control this situation. It takes all of them to do it, too. They add quite a few constraints to the picture - enough to direct and control which ideas actually turn into something - and that all proper procedures are followed and everything happens in its proper time and place with all interested party's approval first and not before then (and everything must go through proper channels as well).
Sometimes I start feeling like I might explode just a little. And I'm afraid that if I don't follow through on ideas I will lose them.
Hey I should start a notebook! Everything in its time and place ... the ideas are burning a hole in my brain but I can't do anything out of place or time ... and its not all in my control.
It's probably a good thing - if I did try to act on all the ideas at once I probably really would just pop. (I didn't say they were all GOOD ideas or FULLY FORMED or that they all fit with the situation as it is RIGHT NOW)
I think transiting uranus is just adding to all the expanding - and putting social, innovative, technological and cerebral twists into it all. (And lots of surprises)
In fact - I am needing to expand beyond my own ideas and vision in order to add in a whole bunch of visions and ideas that aren't even my own ... and broadening horizons beyond the many, many ideas I already had even to the point of embracing the complete unknown ... the state of not knowing anything for sure but feeling confident in the belief that it will all work out to something good. And this is all coming from a very paranoid and guarded person who usually hates "not knowing"
a new longing for adventure has hit as well -
