Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Wed, September 23, 2009 - 10:49 PMJut bear in mind that the retrograde influence may well linger past that specific date, as has been previously discussed in another thread. -

Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Thu, September 24, 2009 - 8:43 PMI'm more impatient about Jupiter. It doesn't go direct until mid Oct. Argh... -

Thu, September 24, 2009 - 8:57 PMSoon! I'm looking for that to happen too! -

Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Thu, September 24, 2009 - 9:01 PMYar. And Neptune is November, Uranus December.
So, hopefully, by the end of the year, those of us in a state of limbo (in whatever aspect of life) will move forward! -

Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Thu, September 24, 2009 - 9:18 PMAmen to that! -

Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Thu, September 24, 2009 - 11:24 PMnooo! All those planets are retro in my natal and I'm having a blast right now! lol -

Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Tue, September 29, 2009 - 6:34 PMIt's officially direct now, but still slow. Average motion is usually 1°23' per day, and right now it is at 5'6", which is pretty darn slow. It doesn't pick up speed for another week and a half. -
-
Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Tue, September 29, 2009 - 7:44 PMMore slogging around ~ and I could not agree less, Lady Saber. LOL. I have HAD IT with this retro and all of its current and former retro pals. It's been like having a house full of deadbeat squatters who all want room service.

Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Tue, September 29, 2009 - 6:56 PMJupiter in my 1st and Uranus in my 2nd house moving forward will be quite good for me. Neptune will just fog me up in my first house again, but perhaps that would be opportune time to write my book.
This month's Mercury retro feels good, more bearable than previous. -

Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Tue, September 29, 2009 - 7:59 PMMercury retro has been a daily theme for me for weeks, but it's in my 3rd. I couldn't even order a workout program off of ebay without issues.
Jupiter/Neptune have been in my 8th for a while, and I want them to MOVE!
Jupiter in the 2nd would be quite nice, Lady Saber! The 2nd house is Jupiter's traditional house and it usually brings some favorable things and progress, not just in money either. I guess that would be next year or so. It's good to have it in the 1st too, but usually you reap the rewards more when it hits the 2nd. -
-
Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Tue, September 29, 2009 - 9:17 PMYup, Jupiter will be in my 2nd house about March next year. I like it there also because it trines my sexy Scorpio stellium at the MC.
Jupiter will be quite nice to have in the 9th house particularly since you are looking into work in higher learning and research or intending to go for postgraduate studies.
Neptune in 1st house makes me feel fatalistic and foggy headed if not for Saturn applying a conjunction to my Sun soon and riding over my North node.
Mercury retrograde has been almost negligible for me when usually it drives me crazy over appointments and details. I think that has a lot to do with Saturn over my North node making me knuckle down at work.

Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Tue, September 29, 2009 - 8:00 PMFor me, the world slowing down allows me to formulate my plans, and as they turn direct I can implement them. I like der retros. -
-
Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Tue, September 29, 2009 - 8:40 PMb ~
Yeah, well the plans were formulated months ago, so this has just been like being stuck in line. Sleep has become a sport. -
-
Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Tue, September 29, 2009 - 8:44 PMI'm sorry... It'll be over soon I hope. -
-
Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Tue, September 29, 2009 - 9:23 PMThanks, b. Fortunately, I have had lots of practice with standing in lines and sport sleep. I'll just be glad when it is over, which I hope means sometime in October ~ like when Jupiter turns direct on October 12. Rx Mercury should be about history by then. -

Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Wed, September 30, 2009 - 12:50 AMWow, so all of the planets will be direct at the end of the year? Does Merc go retro again in December? Either way, having all planets direct will be an immense relief to just about everyone on the planet! Sound the collective "phew!" -
-
Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Wed, September 30, 2009 - 1:04 AMYes. Mercury goes retro again the day after Christmas. And another long one at that. -

Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Wed, September 30, 2009 - 1:04 AMDerrick - everyone is direct in Dec. Unfortunately, there's always another planet that will go retro... Mars is the next one in Jan, then Saturn follows in Jan also.... until March for Mars, May for Saturn. Saturn turns back around into Virgo, so people who are experiencing their Saturn return get a nice big revisit. I had a Saturn return three times, so I hear their pain! -

Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Wed, September 30, 2009 - 1:08 AMI guess you had that same Saturn return, Derrick! I keep forgetting we are like astro twins. -
-
Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Wed, September 30, 2009 - 8:22 AMHow far back into Virgo? Saturn is at 26 degrees or so now. Is it going back all the way? -
-
Unsu...
Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Wed, September 30, 2009 - 2:47 PMSaturn goes back to 27 degrees, not all the way (thankfully). We might feel it a little, though. I still feel like my Saturn return is lingering, even though I'm told it's been over for many months. I have a retro Saturn at 7 degrees Virgo. -
-
Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Wed, September 30, 2009 - 7:05 PMMine is at 9 degrees. It's much better now. Clearer. But of course, still some things in the way. My Saturn is forward at 9 degrees Virgo.

Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Wed, September 30, 2009 - 3:28 PMat the end of the year,
Mercury is retrograde
also
Pluto's fellow dwarf planets,Eris and Makemake are retrograde at the end of the year
dwarf planet candidates, Orcus,Varuna, and Sedna are retrograde too -
-
Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Wed, September 30, 2009 - 3:41 PMWe pretty much know how Mercury Rx goes, but do we have any idea about what these dwarf planets in retrograde are like? Can you give us some idea? -
-
Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Wed, September 30, 2009 - 4:17 PM
probably similar to how their fellow dwarf planet, Pluto is retrograde
the main thing with the transneptunian dwarf planets are evolutionary intensified experiences/lessons -
-
Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Wed, September 30, 2009 - 4:22 PMSo that would mean that the evolutionary intensified experiences & lessons would backtrack. -

if you go to Philip Sedgwick's site:
you will find the keywords for the transneptunians and centaurs
www.philipsedgwick.com/
just go to the left column that says:
Eris, Sedna, Makemake, Haumea, Dwarf Planets, Centaurs & More
He's my favorite astrologer because he's astronomically oriented. He wrote a book Astronomy for Astrologers

Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Sun, October 4, 2009 - 1:14 AMWell it seems that there are more scheduling and appointment issues after it has gone direct than during retro! -
-
Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Sun, October 4, 2009 - 1:31 AMRemember that during the storm, or shadow, periods, some people sense the retro influence even more strongly than when Mercury is in the thick of it. Paul and I both have that reaction. -
-
Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Sun, October 4, 2009 - 1:59 AMYup, and some astrologers think that Mercury is not considered direct until it is on the exact degree that it was on when it went retrograde. If this is to be considered, Mercury is still considered retro until the week of 14th October which also happens to be the same week that Jupiter goes direct. -
-
Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Sun, October 4, 2009 - 2:09 AMExactly. I am not counting any chickens until then. LOL.
BTW, Mars also enters Leo then and will be going retro in December. It will be hanging around in Leo longer than usual as well. -
-
Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Sun, October 4, 2009 - 2:19 AMMars retrograde in Leo should be more bearable than when it was retrograde in Gemini last year. At least it's still in its triplicity. -
-
Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Sun, October 4, 2009 - 3:20 AMI am hoping for something of an energy/activity boost when it enters my Sun Sign. I am already beginning to notice some cracking in the icy inertia that has plagued me for months; and as I start moving around, I see more clearly what I actually need to do, and am now devising strategies for dealing with those things.

yeah I can still feel some of the retro energy, but its really tapering off for me now for the last couple of days. The heaviest parts are over for me, or at least seem to be. Still not fully out of the woods, but very nearly! -

Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Sun, October 4, 2009 - 11:26 AM
does the speed of the Mercury have something to do with it too?
right now, Mercury has a travel rate of 49'18 degrees which is under the average rate of travel -
-
Re: When is Mercury going DIRECT?
Sun, October 4, 2009 - 11:31 AM
ooops my bad
Mercury has a travel rate of 49'18 minutes
