  • Those having Saturn return will find his going forward a relief, things are now on the way.
    • you know, it's been interesting
and saturn is just about right on jupiter for me now
      and heading towards itself
I don't see a lot of relief for a while.....
a good bit of getting things done, but probably not a lot of relief
      • Well, Saturn is 0ยบ 02" minutes from exact with my natal Pluto. lol, But since I nataly have a Saturn trine Pluto, it has been very easy for me. Giving more focus and telling me to do more healthy stuff.

I am looking forwards though to it moving just a few degrees more, as it will then be sextile to my Neptune Ascendant degree, trine Saturn, and trine Sun, activating stronger the Kite formation in my chart, as Pluto is also doing now.

Then it moves on to a sextile to mars.

I'm not looking to forwards to when it hits the 16th degree later in the year and squares my Venus :(
  • I'm not. Saturn turning direct means it's heading straight for my natal Uranus at 11 Virgo and my natal Pluto at 14 Virgo.
    • Sorry to sound dumb but what does this mean in general terms for all signs?
      • I am ...well, not excited, but I think it will bring some much needed relief in the work realm. It's been a very trying retrograde for me.

Ruth, Saturn in retrograde sort of goes back over 'old' territory. Wherever it is in your chart, whatever aspects it was causing to hover, those will break and your life in that realm can move forward and new actions can take place now.
        • I'm revising my opinion. Saturn is one mean motha.

Boooooo to epiphanies that make my life more complicated.
          • Funny how when your young,

Do you remember the teacher you hated, was a total pain in the ass,
never let you slide on anything.
But later when you look back
That's the one you have the most respect for.
Saturn is the one that teaches us respect, first for ourselves, then for the world in general.
There is a good feeling when you have taken responsibility for your actions, and some for others.
Saturn can tear down a sense of self worth, but on the flip side, Builds a REAL one..
      • Ruth, this page might help you to gain some insight on that.:

        • I am not excited exactly, but I wll miss the lazy last 3 weeks or so. This is Saturn to natal Pluto. It certainly brought out a thoroughly Virgoan Pluto interest in bugs and diseases. There may well be 7-day weeks coming up again, with weekend intensives again. The last one was quite fun in a gallows sort of a way - role plays on how to give bad news -e.g. 'Your leg is gangrenous and I'm afraid we are going to have to amputate it.' That sort of thing.
          • I'm not really excited. Well, I don't know. I'm in my Saturn Return and, about Wednesday, things really started to kick up. Kinda like the motorcycle's been running on it's kickstand and now someone kicked the kickstand up and we're off. That's probably a good thing more so than bad, but I guess I was just used to Saturn's retro pace when the taskmaster's lessons were slower, easier to swallow.

..or maybe I'm just whining. lol
            • Saturn the Nag. I think while the Rx was going on the anoying voice of reason was quieted a little.
But things, maybe we should be doing, and not doing, are going to start getting more obvious.
I'm thinking .."the room is a mess", and the voice saying "you need to clean now" wasn't as strong.
So if you have been cleaning by habbit,(just a example) things will be smooth, if not, NOW is a good time to start, before Saturn hits new territory, late summer I think.
I have been lugging along for a few months now. I'm looking forward to the tention that gets me off my ass.
Oh wait I've been working 10 hour days 6 days a week. But I've been casual about it, except for a few choise days.
We also should have Mars in the same neighhborhood, in a few months.
              So Kiddo's get to work...lol
As for the RETURNS folks. maybe a good thing to get it re-run for ya. Use the Pluto thing and get rid of what ever wasn't working the last time.

Quick story. My toys, and me at 9...
After countless Mom (saturn) "put away you toys" and me dumping in the closet and under bed.
Well Mom one day had enough,
Dumped all my toys (lots of legos, and small parts) in a pile on the floor.
"now put them all way were they belong" I spent 2 hours, but did it half ass.
              She walked in and inspected.
Then to my Horror, dumped it all back in a pile.
"Do it right this time"... Took 4 hours... I alway put my toys away properly from then on.

Seemed fitting, for a Saturn story.

      • That's a perfect symbol for Pluto in Capricorn, I think...which is ruled by Saturn in Virgo right now. The current power-holders at the top of the hierarchy being terrified of losing status and control to the younger generations (or egalitarian Aquarian ethics, in general) so doing everything in their power to destroy the forces of the new. Clinging to power structures that will inevitably topple...and using violence and destruction to do so. (Heads of state being especially prone to this...)
        • I have a question...

If my ex husbands Natal Saturn is Conj my Sun and Mars (actually between them) and I feel I was restricted by him, when Saturn is retrograde, might that reverse the effect?
          • technically, not so much
especially if it has no aspects to your personal planets
However if you want to do some conscious energy work
and want to give those outdated restriction to saturn you could
if you think that will work for you
I would be more likely to work with uranus, though for that
personally as a breaker of bonds........
My personal opinion is that those types of restrictions are not something you reverse but
            something you break through
Once the person you feel is restricting you is gone
any leftover restrictions are ones that have become yours and it's your process
            to get rid of them,
that means the way energies (possibly and often represented as planets)
are interacting with you and your world
Your decisions to get rid of them, your methods or things that happen to catalyze
the process for you. You can choose to do ritually thins with whatever energies you happen to be
feeling or dealing with or relating to with the sky whatever you think will work for you to release that stuff
Ok, that was more than two cents worth so i'm stopping there....
          • Saturn in retrograde would be a time to internally came to terms with your feelings of restriction and go over certain events (related to that restriction) that happened when Saturn was direct.

So when Saturn goes direct again, you will be able to set things right...which might involve some changes and adjustments. The more authority you take on yourself (and take away from him having over you), the more eased the restriction should feel.
          • I might explain myself a bit more...Uranus did the shake up all right, in 2004-2005; we are split up. However, we still have yet to settle the financial and property issues. (On April 16, he threatened to commit suicide after the first hearing that the judge found in my favor, I responded by calling the sheriff, as I did not know his true state or intention.) He has continually not responded or left paperwork undone or incomplete, partly the reason the judge found in my favor... Over the last year I have tried to negociate with him diplomaticaly, but am met with resistance and threats. He is the one who took the matter to court and so far its not turning out the way he had hoped... next court date is tomorrow, I was curious if the tide would turn, even if it would mean he might just co operate with the paperwork...I sure feel like Saturn!
I do realize that this is all from my point of view...however, the court seems to agree with me too.
Personal aspects to Saturn for me include it in a stellium with Sun and Mars, all these are square to Neptune and Moon.
