What's your hidden talent that you have discovered through astrology that you might have doubted before . Have you ever been sure that you are better than others in something but were not able to express it because you were not given enough encouragement..and then saw your chart and felt..' I knew it was like this so long!!' and felt more confident to bring out your talent?

What are those aspects that revealed some talent you knew you had but felt more comfortable..( read it as ego booster) only after you realised/ confirmed you had the aspect?

Lol, every time I read more about astrology and find out that I do not have any of 'such' aspects, I give up on astrology to feel better about myself :P
    • Just looking shortly at your chart, I found a Uranus Sun septile and Uranus Mars quintile both coming from the 8th House.
      • Partha I used those links from ur other post to find out some of my harmonic aspects....Turns out have Mars Quintile Pluto, Moon Novile Saturn, Moon Quintile jupiter, Saturn quintile MC, Neptune Biseptile MC, Mars Novile saturn and feq others as well! Still trying to find out what they mean......................but its just interesting to actually discover these previously unknown (to me) aspects on my chart!! :-)
        • I have to say I think my squares and things are what I'm most interested in developing as talents or abilities. More and more I think that the problem aspects and placements are artistically the coolest things about people, it makes them unfathomable. There's always somebody better than you at whatever you do, but those things are what gives you an edge unique to you. Now if I can just learn how to exploit it all properly and revel in it gloriously without self-judgement...

Yes, even when it says no aspect, there is still an aspect, so it's a bit tricky to translate those into aspects such as the vigintile, decile and Tre-decile, because sometimes it's waxing and sometimes it's waning: making it necessary to either add or subtract from the zero Aries point which symbolizes the slower moving planet.

These minor aspect form the inner lining of the outer garment of the causal body - the storehouse of all karma. They're more subtly interwoven with the Soul's experience on inner levels than the major aspects that operate more on outer levels.

            Very preceise description....i understand perfectly...

same here. or the talents shown in my chart don't resonate with me at all.

My hidden talent is dancing, tho' I suppose it's not that hidden to the people who know me after a glass of wine ;-)
        (let's just say, a dancing darwish doesn't even know s/he's dancing ;-)
        • hidden talent may be an oxymoron, because talents tend to expose themselves (to us or to others) sooner or later, if not before then. We can't actually claim a talent without demonstrating it. We may overlook a talent, or we may choose to hide or ignore a known talent, but a talent that has not emerged to be proven is only a hypothesis.

"or the talents shown in my chart don't resonate with me at all."

We grow into our charts by having a life first. This is why I suspect Astro.com won't even allow you to print one before you're of a certain age (knowing too much can be a curse, and you certainly can't learn to swim from a book).

I have an older sister who reads tarot, and I remember as a kid thinking that I could be as good as her at predicting the future, if not more. My astrologer told me I have a gift for prophecy, and the more I learned about astrology, the more I tapped into and am a LOT better at predicting the future now than my elder sister. She comes to me now. So I'd say I have a "talent" for predicting things that come to pass. I have gotten better with time. Lately I hear things in my head before someone says something. And I have had some sort of entity that's been trying to communicate with me to tell me things, which seems to coorelate with an event - such as my niece being in the hospital.

Moon-Neptune conjunction, Moon-nodal squares, Moon-Pluto sextile, Cancer rising with Sirus on the ASC, NN in Pisces in the 9th of divination. My astrologer said the Sabian symbol for my degree rising showed studying the past in order to predict the future:
"A Man Studying A Mandala In Front Of Him, With The Help Of A Very Ancient Book"

I actually got better at astrology than my astrologer, who says I don't need him anymore...

And I do use ancient astrology. Deborah Houlding, who runs the Skyscript sight, and I have very similar charts, with the same Sun and degree rising, and she's been a medium and astrologer for many years.

Doesn't Skyscript provide some indications of hidden talents in the interpretation charts?

Basically that one may have different hidden talents that they end up not using, yet can still tap into as needed...
  • I've rediscovered my intuitiveness...

Visited by loved ones whom have passed, it has been interesting...
    • Astrology helped me decide to focus on drumming and juggling as ways to express myself. I have a pretty strong Mars.
      • My first elocution contest was a nightmare...during school days...It was shit level.I dropped in the middle. I was very upset about it that why I couldn't perform as good as the winner. As much as I remember I had nothing in my mind I could talk about on that topic..though the topic was given days back.

The next year when I participated I won the first place..though most of my lines were mugged up..( blah I was only 12 ok).. but it gave me so much confidence. I was too much impressed with my own flair and dramatic way of speaking..

Of course I later realised I had sun and mercury in Leo..That added my confidence :-)
And ever since then I have atleast won one of the 3 positions in elocuton contests..of course as I grew up I realised mugging before hand was not always going to rescue me..but atleast unlike most of my friends I never had stage fright even at that age. And I think thats the first step towards giving a confident speech..Now the age that I am in the competitions are more 'on the spot' ....which requires fluency and presence of mind ..I still not a pro at that :-P
  • I wonder if it takes 3 planets in aspect to create a talent such as a "small talent triangle" Two sextiles, one trine...Such as my Sun in Cancer Moon in Virgo Pluto in Scorpio, the Moon is the midpoint planet. Im quite good at juggling Sun and Pluto emotions at the same time. Grew up with all fire signs. A "large talent triangle" Is a grand trine. Even a tsquare is a triangle and should hold some talent I would belive. In my chart I got a trapazoid goin on. I say geometry of patterns might show gifts a midpoint here and there.
    • Sun conjunct Uranus, i can pee standing up = D
      • Yay! Now thats talent! Barb this traveling Ole Hagger New Yorker trash.....Can aim hers also while standing up. Shes a Cancer btw I admire the old crone. Has a mouth of a sailor and a heart of gold cover in coal. I belive shes a 29 degree Cancer Sun. Ive ran into these quite a few times lol I love them dearly. .sad story it seems. ~Strong Surivors. Seems to make one hell of a Lilith SOUL. She fell for me cause I accidently stole her heart. Can I get a refund already...Return her back to Adam good grief I lissioned lol WoW really?
