My neptune is in scorpio...so I get the dark hair and eyes. I have pisces rising with neptune in scorp. I am short, but my Mom is short too. I am blonde with blue eyes so was my Mom. I do think My eyes appear to be large and kinda dreamy. My eyes are my best feature I think. I have thick hair, but it's fine. I am short but not what I would call very petite, curvy, rounded. I have sag moon and sag midheaven.. My sun sign is libra but it's intercepted in the 7th house. Meaning my 7th house starts at virgo 27 degrees and my 8th house starts at scorp 9 degrees. As a Gemini sun, Sag rising, I think it really depends upon the situation. I tend to arrive places, exactly on time. My appearance in pictures varies more from mood to mood and angle to angle than they do from 10 years ago to 5 years ago to today in my opinion. It can be so frustrating because I have a pretty much impossible time forming an opinion about how I look. If people ask the best I can say is that I am short. Sometimes people say I look like I could be 15. Sometimes they guess me closer to 30. Sometimes they say I look 20. one day I think I am totally fat...the next day I am surprised at how thin I seem. Sometimes it changes the next MINUTE even. Do I retain water a lot or something idk....? Maybe lighting has a big effect on how my appearance comes through...More likely though, it could be mood....but i don't know Maybe it's all in my head but then that is where it is I guess! So, I too have Sag as my rising sign, I am someone who has to move, dance, etc, as a little girl I faked being horse so many times and I have an amazing passion for horses, in fact, not so much riding them than just watching and touching them but anyway. I do have long legs and very very strong, I used to play soccer, roller skating/blading, swimming, dancing dancing dancing, in fact, I didn't realize that until now but I would always say people that I love to dance rockabilly (rock n roll or something, in France it is exotic hahah, I've dance for about 15+ years, almost turned profesional) makes me feel like my legs are getting longer, it is because in that type of dance you dance a lot on your toes therefore your calves work so much, and I always loved this, I've got a tight relationship with my legs! HAha, now I'm a triple Cancer (Venus-Moon-Mars) and I think this has an influence on me cause I can be slender but at can also get chubbier at times, curvy I would say, cause I am very very curvy, and sometimes I eat differently and dance more etc and I get slender again, still with some curves but rather like Jennifer Love-Hewit type of thing, and sometimes I'm like more Salma Hayek type of thing, and I do believe it's from my Cancer thing...but I can't figure out the influence with the cusps and signs cause if you're saying it has something to do with Jupiter, mine is sextile to my ASC which is Sag right, so am I right on that or am I missing the point...I am still learning so much about astrology, sorry if I am bothering everybody here... The little adjustments, behaviors and reactions one has in relation to the space around them can conveys something of their innate or instinctive movement style, or Rising sign. At the risk of generalizing (which I abhor) here are some examples that I have noticed: ARIES RISING busts into the room (leaping almost) with more energy than awareness. Enters abrupt. TAURUS RISING gracefully and slowly eases into the space, settles sooner than most. Enters intact. GEMINI RISING enters the space like a breeze blowing in, as if in several moving parts. LOL I have Jupiter in Cancer conjunct the ASC and so my body does this weird cycle where I'm skinny as a rail for 2 years, then chubby and curvy for 2 years, on and on. In facial traits, I think you see more of the Gemini and Aries in me though. There's an experiment going on with this... I think it's called AstroFaces or something similar. I used to get Judy Garland in the Wizard of Oz all of the time a few years back, Elizabeth McGovern, Julia Ormond, Sigrid Thornton, even Patsy Cline once, Ally Sheedy when I had short hair, Elizabeth Shue in the Karate Kid when I had short blond hair, or people swearing they saw me in a small part on “Sex in the City,” etc. The list is long and the people don’t even look that much alike. I have often wondered what an afflicted ascendant “means,” aside from the possibly negative physical implications which are not true about me. My ascendant opposes Saturn and squares my Scorpio stellium. I have struggled in the past with being very shy and too closed off. I also struggle with people misinterpreting me--often assuming I am much more conservative than I am, also often underestimating me on many levels, or mistakenly writing me off as a “sweet little girl” without realizing how much is contained within. I do have wide moony kinda eyes and am curvy. Full breastedness is a cancer thing. I have met MANY a cancer rising or cancer sun with that wide full-moony face or wide eyes, or that crescent moon shaped profile. I used to have fun guessing people being cancer from that and VERY often was right. Scorpio rising is easy to see too- that dead-locked eye contact. I'm a Taurus rising and I do fit the profile... not entirely, because we need to also take into consideration aspects to the ascendant, planets in the first house, etc. But Taurus definitely is a big part of how people see me and how my body looks and moves. I have 3 co-workers with Gemini Risings and I did notice similarities, we 3 have very small symetric facial features, small nose, ears and mouth, pleaseant non-agressive features....Nothing like the above discription and our 3 weights are very differenty, one girl is very very round and short, the guy is average height and slender, and I'm rather tall and medium weight.....Go figure... I'm Pisces rising, and I am 5'10, weigh 106 lbs., I think my eyes are just average size and I'm blonde so my lashes aren't very thick, without mascara, that is.. My arms and hands are thankfully in proportion to the rest of me and as far as I can tell my feet are normal feet, no webbing or any other amphibious-type deformity. I do have an odd chin, but that's a hereditary thing. I checked a few other ones in reference to people's rising signs I know and they were wrong too. I've only been studying astrology for a few years and still have much to learn, so perhaps it's all there in my chart and I don't understand it. I've been afraid to dig too deep because I'm afraid I might end up having things in common with Hitler, or Jeffrey Dahmer, lol. But there are many things that modify it. Just by way of examples, I will refer to the factor of height. But the same principle goes with type of hair, eyes, facial structure, you name it. A. Non-astrological influences 1. Genetics. If you come from a family of tall people, average size of the men being 6'9", and you have a rising sign, such as Leo, that tends to taller people, you will probably be one of the taller members of your tall family. On the other hand, if you come from a family that is made of of shorter people (like my own. I'm only 5'4", my mother was 4'11"), and you have a tall rising sign, you will be one of the taller people in your family...but you will never be 'tall' as compared to the general populace. Both of my daughters have Leo Rising, and they are both short...but taller than the other women in my family. B. Astrological influences 1. The sign on the Ascendant is modified by the ruling planet(s) of that sign, and any aspects that they make. Let's refer to Leo Rising again. A Leo Rising with Sun in Pisces will tend, all things being equal, to be shorter than a Leo Rising with the Sun in Aries. Leo Rising with Sun square Saturn will tend to be shorter than Sun conjunct Jupiter. Etc. 2. Planets that are in close aspect to the Ascendant also modify. A Leo Rising with Saturn square the Ascendant will tend to be a bit shorter than one without that square. 3. Planets in the first house, especially close to the Ascendant, will also have a major influence on the appearance. A person born at Sunrise, in any sign, usually has some Leo traits to their appearance. 4. The sign the Sun is in, even if there is no aspect to the Ascendant, shapes the vital energies of the person, and thus also influences their appearance, mannerisms.
