I need to go to a new allergist. I should move into an apartment that's not carpeted and well ventilated. I should invest in an air purifier. I shouldn't have a pet, but I would never get rid of Lucy. My old allergist gave me shots for outdoor and indoor things so I was getting 6 shots a week. When she found out I lived in a house (at the time) with 3 cats she was like, "Oh, I didn't know that....... you're allergic to cats and dogs too." So she started me on a shot for cats only since I wasn't around dogs all the time. Someone who worked there for some odd reason slipped me my results which I wasn't suppose to have and it showed I'm allergic to histamine and certain feathers (I sleep with a down and down pillows lol). <---- Would like to know if there's a natural remedy for allergies. btw I'm obviously no makeup artist or anything, but a lot of people (like my sister) get around slightly puffy eyes by applying a concealer that is one shade lighter than her skin tone. I had to learn how to do airbrushing at university using Photoshop and a similar technique was used, slightly brightening the area under the eye to reduce the effect of puffiness. Better effects are used nowadays tho in PHotoshop.

hmm I don't know. I've never actually used the cream thing on the eye, or for that matter teabags. I seldom get puffy eyes (yet). The only other solution I know is the one that Travis gave, tho some people do the teabag thing and follow up immediately with a slice of cold cucumber or ice also. Travis is the teabag supposed to be warm, hot or cold? I know people who use cold tea bags. You may have a persistant allergy to something and it would be worth getting this checked out in any case. It might be a simple anti-hystemine or cutting down on a food that will solve the problem. If it is persistant then it is showing something in your life or lifestyle really needs to change, rather than fixing the symptoms, fix the problem! It sounds obvious but don't sleep with contacts or makeup on either!

a fresh tea bag, dipped only for 15 seconds, and placed over each eye (after a moment or two of cooling) and relaxing for 5-15 minutes will suck that puffiness right out. Tea is real good for the complexion, externally.

I don't think lines or lack of lines determine how youthful or old they appear to others. The inner is just as important and erasing lines only mends the shell of what might just be (general) someone that's old (no matter their age) and that you can't hide. I have to admit. All this gets very confusing for people, but yeah, it can be funny. Sometimes, well, I really don't know if that seeps into the family relationships or whether the family relationships seep into those perceptions. What I mean is that to some extent, my son and I do relate as siblings. He always calls me Mom, but our way of interacting is not so much like Mom and Son. We get on the phone, and we start talking about everything under the sun like we are the same age. Now and then I pull a Mom thing, I admit. But it is almost like a reminder. LOL! And, as awful as this is to say, when the little girls in my mother's neighborhood go looking for cherry blossom faeries, I want to go look for them, too. I'm 39 and am always taken for being younger than I am when people meet me. I also have a youthful enthusiasm that sometimes comes through that sorta bugs people, but other times I do act miserable and old lol. Amiable-- There is! Leo and Virgo combined probably have an impact on your more youthful look. That and 12th house stuff, since that's the house associated with Pisces/Neptune . My mom also looks younger and she's a Virgo Rising, Cancer/Leo cusp combined with Pisces Moon, which also adds a bit of a "clueless" air (even if it's not true, that's the effect). People used to ask her if she was our sister! Genetics factor into this to a huge extent. I am often mistaken as being my mother's granddaughter. My son is 26 and could pass for 16 ~ sort of the Elijah Wood/David Radcliff type. My mother herself looks ten to fifteen years younger than her actual age, and the same was true of my father, only perhaps even more so. It freaks people out. I have been accused of lying that I am older than I am, however I carry a copy of my birth certificate with me. Surgery is totally not involved. No one in my family has done that. When I remember, I may use a moisturizer ~ more often in the winter when the heat is dry, but not always. I sometimes wonder if natural moisturizing is a function of urea content in the body. Both of my parents had gout ~ which is when uric acid crystallizes in joints. I don't have it yet though. If there is any astrological basis for youthful looks, I cannot pinpoint it because certainly my family all have very different charts. I think this is one of those nonastrological phenomena. chill. the real reality, is that those too young to have cosmetic surgery, also have not lived long enouph to perhaps feel the reasoning that an older person. And, nearly all scorps i know have their own techniques for tightening skin and rejuvinating good looks. And its not unnatural or bad to look good when one is old. completly naturual IS fine, Joakim - one can be natural AND have white teeth, good tight complexion, and wonderful hair. i also know which herbs will produce those effects. If i want to define and lean my muscles, there are simple herbs that will do that. And moderate exercise - like walking, rather than riding, to a large majority of ones appointments is good exercise.

Age takes its toll on everything & I have seriously considered getting rid of those "baggy" lower eyelids, they kind of steal the attention from my fearsome dark-brown "scorp-eyes" (which so many Virgos have been blessed with). But is this VANITY really ok from a scorpian (virgo/libra/scorpio) point of view? Perhaps one should accept natures changes just like the seasons? Am I thinking about committing perversions..?
