pi, I am sorry to hear about your dad. What a delimma you must feel you are in. Just a little suggestion that might help. I have been researching the Void Moon of Course and the next one is on Oct 31. If you are not familiar with this I will explain briefly that this event means that the Moon will not be making any major aspects to any other planets for a brief time before it leaves the sign it is in. Astrologers say it could just last for minutes or it could last for up to two days all depending on the other planets. The time era that will be involved is 10:14 pm to 9:49 am (this is pacific time so you may need to adjust to your time). The significance of this event is that there are no pull from other planets to the moon. They claim this is a great time to meditate and do nothing but take time for yourself. Things not to do is make major decisions. I just thought this might help with the situation you have and make things a little clearer if you could meditate to clear your mind so that you could make the right decision. Like I said though, I just started researching this particular subject and have some conflicting issues about it. The main conflict I have is can the Moon ever really be aspect free. They fail to mention that there are many other apsects such as the quincunx, the quitntile, ect. that could have some kind of influence on the moon. Also there is the natal planets. What if one has natal planets in the last degrees of the sign the Moon is in and how does that affect an individual personally. I am going to play around and keep a journal on this. I am going to use the times mentioned to relax and meditate. I will be able to tell the difference due to the fact that I have a very busy mind and meditation usually is very difficult for me(my chart has a very stressfully aspected Mercury). So this is just a suggestion for you to consider if all else fails and you still feel confused. Good luck in any decisions you make and Bless you and your family in their time of need.

I think the moon is important because it is very close to earth compared to other things in the sky. Here's one: I stepped outside in 06 sometime around november if I remember. The moon was very solid looking and clouds were wrapped around it symettrically perfect. In fact, the clouds were slightly braided with each other and had motion. It was dark, none of the other stars were shining much. I looked at it for 4 minutes or so and ran in to try and get some people to take a look at it. No-one would even rouse. None of the neighbors were out. This one was for me, I thought. I thought I witnessed something very unusual but I refered to some science books and it does have a particular name, but I forgot the name. I'll never forget that.

ok ok fine... I will keep the little astrology hamster wheel to myself lol I guess I just like to try to track the planets moving around and any patterns associated with them in my life. I am still figuring it out, too. But it really does look like the moon might have a sort of "foreshadowing" element to it right now to me. It really feels like all that spilling at work that one day is somehow connected to a major episode at work that occurred soon after during similar but slightly re-arranged planetary aspects. And similarly, spilling at grandma's house and an upcoming decision/confusion about how to re-arrange home life... and so on... And mapping prayer experiences with planetary aspects and all ok don't mind me :) I might just be a victim of mercury retro anyway right now...we will see in 2 weeks.

Has anyone ever experienced foreshadowing of some kind related to their moon? I think this may have just happened to me! Here is why: A few weeks ago, I had transiting moon conjunct natal jupiter and I had transit mercury conjunct my vertex. During that time I experienced the most random and condensed series of spilling things I have ever seen or heard of and then it just stopped once the moon was out of range of jupiter! One week from now: will have mercury retro conjunct vertex opposite chiron square venus trine mars sextile saturn square jupiter 150 degrees from aries uranus = transit mercury retro/ descendant Two weeks from now: will have sun conjunct vertex etc etc etc and mercury retro out of aspect with all of these planets instead it will be square moon sextile neptune I have a big decision to make about how long to stay at home with mom now that dad has passed I prayed about it and felt that I need to *WAIT TWO WEEKS* and then decide to move in BUT NOT DECIDE BEFORE THEN ___________________________ There are many reasons to stay at home with mom and my brothers: for mom(chores, shopping, paperwork, moral support, conversation), for each brother (tutoring, helping mom with them, rides, a game we share together), for my friend and his girlfriend who want to pay less for our aparment and have it to themselves and could pull it off if I moved out (rent would go down $100/month total) He just got a job and my grandparents said they wanted me to stay and not just leave those two up there cuz they didn't have jobs. He said he wants to find another place but I don't think he will find one because he got screwed by his last roommates and has a bad bad mark on his rental record called -"delinquent $3,000 worth of rent" But he has always paid his share to me and always did with his roommates-they just decided to stop paying on him! And ate his rent money. Anyway, he is going to try to find a different place and maybe find it hard-maybe i am wrong. I am going to see how mom is doing alone-and maybe find out she needs me around for more than a week or two (it seems like it now) I am guessing these things will go through a period of confusion and unclear-ness next week...and that it will become clear a week after that The timing makes sense along with: time spent looking for apartments time spent at home seeing how things are going Not to mention the break in my rent by paying nothing for awhile!! Only thing is - I need to convince everyone to let me take over the basement at home and bring my cat to live at home Maybe a hard sell if the need isn't apparent? A lot of things here would be a hard sell without all parties seeing how things really are and that takes time. Hard sell for family, hard sell for grandparents, hard sell for roommates. Without seeing how things are panning out, we would all be more inclined to try to keep the status quo as much as possible. But if we wait TOO LONG it could cause some real problems, too... Well anyway... I will see...and I will wait. I haven't always experienced mercury retro problems...in fact this transit is the first time I remember feeling these effects of miscommunications and spilling! I have had so many miscommunications lately...misunderstanding others, misunderstood by others, misunderstanding myself :P But they have all proven beneficial in that they have revealed deeper things I had not noted properly before. Yesterday I was spilling like crazy for a few hours again and then....again it stopped. This time moon was exactly conjunct the uranus midpoint instead of exactly conjunct jupiter...and I was experiencing confusion about someone who had mercury retro on his vertex conjunct natal pluto And transiting sun on my natal pluto And transiting saturn+venus precisely opposite my natal venus spilling things...you all laugh... but...yeah...pay attention you!
