Hello :) I have the formation of a big dipper on my front of my arm. it's really cool and I love to look at it occasionally lol . Does it show in my astrology chart at all? I'm seriuos please tell me if you think there is any meaning in my chart of anything.

Sun, February 1, 2009 - 7:53 AMI wonder if that is one of those marks that in the Middle Ages would have been called a "witch's mark." I have a triad of circles on the side of my left arm that was the result of having Scarlet Fever. Is this a birthmark you have or did it come about later? -

It is interesting you refer to the witch's mark. I have thought it was some kind of possibly message from an former past life who was possibly satanist, not to say that I am personally satanist in any way at all. It's just that I am not in textual terms, a spiritual person. :)
I thought astrology would show a persons appearance in their horoscope. That's what I learned in my basic study of astrology, I just haven't the inspiration to go any deeper with it. It all seems very trivial to me, being something I want to believe in.

I am new to this tribe and just stumbled upon this post while looking through the discussions. I also have the big dipper on my left forearm. My mom pointed it out to me when I was young, but I never really thought anything of it until now, just thought it was kind of funny. Very interesting. Now I'm probably going to go looking for clues on the internet for a couple hours, haha!

Mon, October 19, 2009 - 5:23 PMDenise, the ancient astrologers might have been able to predict moles and that sort of thing, based on your first house ruler and placements, but unfortunately a lot of their techniques have been lost or are only known by a select few who have researched that info. Modern astrology focuses on personality analysis more than anything.

The idea of these things relating to past lives is interesting, as is thinking about how they'd be interpreted in a more superstitious age. I bet location and right/left side of the body weighed in a lot, too, in terms of if such things were seen as good or bad omens.
