Okay, this may be a silly question for a post, but I just want to know if there's anyone out there who happens to be a Cancer Man who's partnered up with an Aries girl or an Aries girl partnered up with a Cancer man?
How well does the relationship work?
How were you able to hook up in the first place?
It seems like such a difficult relationship to get off the ground...
It seems that I attract, and am heavily attracted to Cancer men.
But there seems to always be a gulf that I don't know how to bridge.
I usually automatically trust a Cancer and become very vulnerable with them quite quickly which is not usually my MO.
It makes me a little nervous that I am drawn to them and so easily accessible to this type of man in particular.
It's hard to know what Cancer men are thinking...
Any thoughts whatsoever would be much appreciated!

It is your Cancer Moon that is attracting Cancer Sun men.
Sun/Moon connection is what to look for in compatibility. Couples where one person's Sun is in the same sign as the other person's Moon will have a strong affinity for each other. Opposite signs or signs of the same element will have a similar affinity.
So to use that method in reverse, you ideally want to find a man who has Moon in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, or Libra. But of course, life doesn't always present us with ideal relationships, or how else would we learn and grow?
I have Cancer Sun and Aries Moon, your perfect match! Unfortunately I'm queer and partnered.

It's interesting that you say that about the Sun/Moon connection, because I read somewhere that when a man's sun sign is the woman's moon sign the relationship has a great chance for enduring. -

We share Asc and Moon so there is alot in common between us there.
She was sort of my Co-parent for most of her childhood. (long story)
But for your question give the Sun stuff a twist.
For one Giving trust to a responcible Cancer is good for thier trust of you..
If we truely love you, we hold your trust in us, to a high standard in ourselves.
We can be quite attentive to hearts trusts..
"Hard to know what thier thinking" Well Dear Aries think to fast, impetuiously (sp)..
I kinda like that about Aries friends."Just do it"...ya know.
We Cancers take more time and care, we need to know how we Feel, about what we are thinking..
This can be frustrating for both.
As Far as Cancer Sun (me) Cancer Moon Fem's....
Of the 3 prominent relationships I have had, all 3 have Cancer moons. 2 were Pisces Sun. the other had Cancer Asc. and Her Sun my Asc. -

In our courtship, I have been good with keeping up the communication (texts and calls) but I feel nervous to be my affectionate and forward self with him because I don't want to scare him away. Because it's hard to tell where his intentions lie, I'm more cautious with him. Not a comfortable feeling for a fiery, intense, impatient and ardent sign like myself! Haha :)
He is friendly (and passionate in bed) but as far as emotional enthusiasm it's hard to know with him. I finally told him something deeply personal about myself in that I'm trying to be more vulnerable and open and he was very sweet and full of encouragement, which was nice cuz it's hard for an Aries to admit so-called weakness.
I had a previous "thing" for a Cancer man and I fell hard for him. I was to emotional too fast for him and I pushed him away even though he was highly attracted to me, so I guess I'm slightly traumatized from it :) which is silly, I know... -

My brother is an Aries, with a Cancer....They seem to complement eachothers pretty good!
Im a Cancer... And always liked Aries... Cause of them being direct. Then again I got Sun conjuct Mars.
I got a natural respect for someone who has a dream... and an aim....
Inside jokes... Cancer isn't known as the sign of the comedian for nothin.... -

He has the directness of an Aries, and just tells it like it is... and when he's joking around it's so funny because it comes out so 'no nonsense' and direct :D

Tue, December 4, 2007 - 7:12 AMI think in a former incarnation, I was a loyal partner/spouse and tolerant of being used as a doormat. It's my time now to have some fun - but with some responsibility, of course. Of course, with a Mars in Pisces and moon in Cancer, I'm not - but the mega-stellium in Gemini which includes Venus in gemini, and a trying Uranus in Libra I find relationships very difficult.
What I love about a solar, lunar Arien is their direct and no-bull**** approach to life. I'm sensitive and sometimes it hurts, but I have to start taking care of myself more responsibly. I'm here to communicate, but responsibly. (Saturn in Gemini and N. Node in Capricorn.)
