I'm sorry to say I haven't personally gone through this transit, but I will comment on it if it helps.. Look at the house you natal Sun occupies to deduce 'the area of your life' that is being affected by this transit from Pluto. Does this same Sun of yours have supportive/challenging aspects natally? These will play a part in determining your capabilty in facing this transit. At the same time, this transit is not all doom and gloom. Certainly not. You can either choose to take hold of the reigns in your life and face challenges in a practical way, or you can let the assumed negativity of this transit supercede your own personal control in your life. I think that's what this transit is about: 'Use it or let it use you'. That's one of Pluto's defining key phrases.

You have the power and free choice to transform or get rid of anything in your life right now that this Pluto transit has brought more to your attention. Pluto urges us to be mindful of our own personal power as people and to not give that power away to others or external circumstances. Now that Pluto is squaring your Sun, it is almost urging you to take accountability for your own solar power, whether you have been misusing that (riding roughshod over others), underusing that, or it has not been fully realised.

I don't know the exact details of your natal chart, but this transit from Pluto to your natal Sun isn't detrimental to your life - only if *you allow it to be*. Yeah,I've been going through it for several years,2-3 tops.It seems it really hit the hardest last fall/winter.The first time it was exact I had a divorce(a long time coming and relief once over),then less than a month later my grandmother passed away suddenly.When it went back into retrograde recently,I lost a mare and her unborn foal.In each case major changes and obvious endings came about,the werid part is I don't feel overwhelmed by it,I don't know why,it just feels like for whatever reason it had to be,no matter how painful the letting go was/is it felt it had to be done.I don't have any hard aspects to my sun(11th),just natal sun conjunct mercury and both trine my jupiter. while natal pluto(12th) conjuncts my mars,sextiles neptune and saturn,M.C. and trines my jupiter(wide).
