Let's talk about house-cusp overlays, shall we?
Regardless of your central personality as per your Ascendant or Sun Sign, we have ALL the zodiac signs within us on some house-cusp somewhere in our chart. This shows how, for example, a Saggitarius can be a Taurus in matters of health and service, and also a Cancer in matters of death, taxes...and other situations of give&take. If you have Saggiatarius Rising, you will likely have those signs on those house-cusps.
I am interested in this because I think it may be one of the largest sources of error when people try to guess your sign, etc..
It may be because they are only experiencing you through one of your houses.
Each of the signs is a central personality which also has a spectrum of subpersonality-traits which are expressed through different houses...with different signs. Thsi is really what makes each sign so colorful.
Talk about how your inner spectrum of house-overlays may cause someone to misread who you are.

Say if your ascendent is in the late degree or if you have interceptions, can one perceive how their initial action or thought reflects the sign the cusp starts on and then take on the following sign's traits?
So scorpio rules my 4th house but it is mainly occupied by sag. Or Aries rules my 9th house but the bulk of it is in taurus and so on..often people pick up earthy energies in me but that's probably because taurus rules my 10th and i have venus conj mc. then my rambling reveals the gemini.
Another misidentification is that people take me for a cancer - until my rash passionate aries moon bursts into the scene.. this is like playing the game 'pick up sticks' it's hard to pick up stick without it touching another stick.
