Also important is the integrity of fire signs regardless of Tropical or sidereal Zodiacs. I do not have the exact time but I would guess it came as Mars and the South node were close to the ascendant. This puts a powerful retro Jupiter in the 6th (vanquishing and enemy) in trine to the indicator or relationships / Love (Venus). A prominent decision with far reaching impact on relationships (10th house). It overturns the earlier ban on same sex marriages that San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom initiated in 2004. I find retrograde planets in transit to be quite hard to predict, but one thing I have seen is it tends to reverse things.. not always for the bad. I am speaking mainly of Jupiter and Saturn. For instance if something negative started very quickly after one of them went direct, often its retrograde motion will reverse it. No religious,moral,ethical beliefs should keep gays from being married to each other just like they should not keep people of different ethnic groups from being married to each other.
