This is the best transit of all. It is especially rewarding in people who stored personal power or kundalini. Since Saturn hovers over Hydra, this is considered a remarkable time as it makes zodiacal aspects with the multitude of objects of interest in the area. There are 4 zodiacal constellations below Leo and on Hydra's back and a host of dwarf planets and centaurs sits there. This is a lucky time for Saturnine people, to put it mildly, children of the sphinx. There is yet another bonus as Saturn approaches the legs of the sphinx, the precise place where it can ascend at east! Thus we shall soon have Saturn rising at due east, something happening only once in 28 years.

Aloha Rachel and all -

The three passes of a transiting planet over a natal position seems to be a normal pattern. Occasionally, there is a rare fly by of a transit (one pass) and the other rare one is four passes, with the 4th being the planet going stationary direct *on* the natal planet's position. Having experienced Pluto that last way, whew. That was an amazingly freeing time.

When I share transit information with clients, I ask them to pay attention to the clues which come their way on the first pass - watch for themes during their days leading up to the exact moment of the first pass' timing. During the time between that first pass and the retrograde one, it is best to get clear on the issues revealed through the themes and struggles of the time. Use the retrograde pass as a point of clarity for those issues on the personal experience of Saturn's lessons. Between the time of the retrograde pass and the final, third pass, use that period of time to get prepared to anchor in the changes asked by the transit.

Saturn is about the foundations of our lives - what our family and society teaches us that we incorporate as our basic truths. It can be about what we fear through lack of support and finding those things we need to survive and thrive are missing. Perhaps you have reviewed the transits of your childhood - first square to itself, opposition and the square before this time of return. Those periods may shed light on the current health dilemma.

Yes, it does have an influence and impact on the bones and connective tissues of the body. So I would suggest you make sure you are attending to your health in a balanced way during the time of classes, study and work. No doubt you know what triggers difficulties in your body, so be sure to maintain the best diet, exercise and health care during this time.

Saturn has influence on timing and bringing things into perfection.

There is the blessing that you are currently in your graduate studies, as Saturn in Virgo will allow you to be very precise with your research and writing work. They will anchor in as part of your foundation for the next 28-30 years.

Harmony with life and attentive self-care can be some of the best intentions for you during 2009, which will be a fabulous thing for the next Saturn cycle of your life.

Or not, maybe it'll be like almost a different kind of explosion and then everything calms down for a while till it can actually go through and over 7/8 months later. Evertone's process is a little different so it's hard to tell....oh mine will be in the 7th too, so we'll see how that goes.

We have Saturn at the same placement. How did it feel for the 1st time for you? It was almost as if I got used to the SR and then BOOM Saturn went direct and it got so much worse (which is to say, better for me in the long run, worse at the time). I was told the third time is harsher because Saturn doesn't take too kind to stubborn folk who don't listen. I'm a bit glad we get Saturn 3xs in this SR though because, I don't know about you, but personally I am one stubborn Taurus.

Did you notice how hard it's gotten this month, too? Especially with Mars, Merc, Venus and an eclipse all stopping by to say hi to Saturn? I was told it might potentially get worse (which, again, is actually good) when Saturn aspects Uranus soon.
