where is the balance? how far until we make an aspect/sign unhappy?
as a capricorn moon in 10th i am "conservative and keep my emotions to my self"
with pluto in libra in 7th i "belong to a generation that upholds marriage and partnerships"
with uranus in scorpio in 8th "Disruption occurs by holding on to outworn sexual standards and outmoded ideas about material partnerships."
my question is how do you deal with conflicts like this? any examples would be wonderful?
Advance thanks for any contributions

  • I don't know... could it be as simples as... whatever bothers you , or causes problems in your life to cause discomfort and unhappiness... change it? And everything else that works for you... keep it...
Just make sure you analyze and reflect what points you'd like to keep and which you'd like to change.
We can all change. Our chart is like a map to our soul or psyche, but I think one of the points of life is to learn and become a better person. Every sign has their limitations or flaws and those are the ones we need to improve on in life.
    • I agree we can change and should change to improve, but what if the change disagrees with your "natal nature" I understand we deal with this as humans - the best we can striving for the better but i was wondering if astrologically there are ways to identify if the change will hinder rather than improve ie fixing areas which are limited/flawed may contradict with another part of your chart?
      • Maybe I'm not being scientific enough, but
wouldn't a good gauge be to see if it makes you happy and it improves your life versus if it makes you unhappy and you are harming others?
I don't say change in the nature of suppressing or escaping, I do believe you can evolve into something better. Of course our astrological traits are our tools- how will you choose to use them in order to improve your own life? You gotta work with what you have and don't have but personally I see our traits as equipment or materials you can use to cultivate a better you, because in the end I think the ultimate soul purification is becoming integrating with everything- becoming ne- where you don't need astrology anymore- but I am getting too metaphysical on that point. I realize we are talking about now, in this lifetime.
And if you think it will contradict another part of your chart, would that really matter if you were feeling better about life and yourself?
What are your goal(s) in life? Whatever you change or don't change shouldn't it be in alignment with that?
        • That is probably the best way to go about it, to define goals for improvement and go with that..... in terms of contradicting another part of your chart i guess if you are feeling happy it would be fine but in my view conflict/contradiction isn't good and may come back another way a sort of repression....fundamentally its an individual's balance and happiness though i agree with that.
Thanks for all your ideas and reasonings.

I'm not 100% sure that you can escape your natal nature.
I think that it gives you the pieces you have to play with.

The only way I see of coming close to escaping would be by forming relationships with others that you admire in hopes that they might help you to direct/magnetize/orient/structure your own energy in the way you would like to see it develop ... and in a way that could be hard to do with just the pieces you have by yourself.

Even when you find those relationships, I think you need to allow them to give your own energy the expression you desire within your own natal constraints because if you allow yourself to think that you have changed just because of their presence ... well ... you can imagine when they leave or when you have to deal with others and find that you aren't who you thought you were it could be trouble.
    • I agree with allowing our own energy exprerssion to be shared and
no, I don't believe escaping yourself is good- maybe cultivating is a better word?

For example: I'm an Aries. One of our traits is Selfishness.
I can admit this, but does it mean I'm ok with it? NO, because I have analyzed and felt the harm it can do to others in your life and ultimately myself, so although I know I will probably always have a selfish streak (which is good for some things), I also know I have to balance it out sometimes by thinking of others first so as not to alienate people and myself and by nurturing my better traits such as spontaniety and fun in order to bring inspiration to other people. I know there are people who put up with some of my selfish acts because I bring them other things that are good about me, but I know life could be a lot better if I was more selfless and I do feel better when I am.
      • Unsu...

Going off the example of selfishness...

One option is to attempt to work against it and stop it or reject it.
Another option is to take the energy and redirect it in some way - in a more positive way.

Whatever might be behind the selfishnes...allow it to flow in a new way.

Aries is one of the signs I least understand for some reason? I'm sure it can be done just as well as I do with some of my piscean traits and the influence of uranus in my chart.
      • I like "cultivation." It's a good, healthy way to approach yourself. Once Saturn returns, you have no choice but to face yourself. What you do with that lesson is entirely up to you, however. That is, if you believe we're here to improve.

By the way - your sun is exhalted in Aries and you may appear selfish to others. OTOH, you may have lived through other incarnations (that is, if you believe this), where you had to totally give yourself without giving to yourself. (This lesson is maginified more if you have your North Node in Aries.) Enjoy who you are.

By the way - where is your North Node, Venus and Moon?
        • Hi Elyse,
Well, my north node is in Libra in the 11th house- that is probably why i feel the need to improve myself. My Aries being the south node showing what I'm comfortable with (selfishness), and Libra being what I strive for (harmony through give and take)
My Venus is in Taurus (7th house)
My moon is in Cancer (9th house)
It is interesting what you say about having past lives where I was the giver. It does illustrate in my chart that I am very lucky in love because of Karma I have accumulated through past lives...
          What sun/moon/ascendant are you?
  • Unsu...

I think one's true nature goes far beyond one's astrological footprint. To limit one's self based on what is seen/perceived/analyzed in your chart is, well, limiting. Not that limits aren't good sometimes, they are. And there is certainly merit to the idea of choosing a framework through which to view yourself. But it can be beneficial to think outside the box, too.

I've never understood the concept that we are all obligated to "improve" ourselves. To me, this notion suggests that I am somehow insufficient as I am. In reality I feel precisely the opposite. I feel like I generally make good choices and avoid major screw-ups. I feel like I am a good but not necessarily great person. But I feel no obligation to be "great" either. To me, self-acceptance and self-forgiveness is key. I do have a bit of an ego, however, and I know many do not have such a strong sense of self and are more prone to self-blame. Most people seem to need more approval from others than I do and I understand that they want to be seen as "improving", or at least trying to do so, in the eyes of others. For myself, just being good enough for me is enough.

There are conflicts in anyone's chart (or personality) and such conflicts will lead to (internal and external) tension. It is just part of the human experience. Life to me often seems like a series of contradictions and Catch-22's. The absurdity of it can be very beautiful or very terrifying, depending on how you look at it -- or both beautiful and terrifying at the same time.
    • If I hurt others, I think there is a need for readjustment. I believe in give and take- the balance between self indulgence and self sacrifice when in relating to others in a society. It doesn't necessarily have to do with not accepting yourself but more of accepting thre are other people in the world besides yourself.
    • I think charts are not necessarily an answer, but sort of like an assurance to some of us looking for reassurance (Mars in Pisces), "oh, so that's it." Of course life is beyond an astrological chart - a chart is a just one of many tools people use to find their answers. (I tend to believe answers are within ourselves, but I have a sensitive streak I must balance).
    • Theres alot to be said for accepting the self just as we are with out conflict and without the desire to improve i think its the ultimate freedom i am what i am and i accept it and i'm free to just do. I admire you for this.

For myself i look at conflicting traits in a chart and wonder if i change either or if i will upset the balance. i understand its a indivdual matter of balance and part of the human experience.
In astrology we see/feel changes in areas of our lives that match transits or aspects formed regardless of balance and choose to explore this more, likewise we seek to know ourselves better thru our natal placements which may be limited but is an avenue of exploration.

thanks for your ideas on how the natal nature is not everything and that there is more to it.
  • Every astrological influence, pretty much like most influences in life, can be interpreted in many, even varied, ways. Thus, for example, a cap moon in the 10th can express as inheld emotion used to better gain ambition's goals; a career involving public traditions; a cold public demeanor to protect against the slings and arrows the business world; building public structures for the protection of families; and on and on. It is very difficult, and pretty counter-productive, to spend your energy trying to be false to your true nature. But just what is the truth of that nature? Doesn't it change with experience? Yet the changes are still true to the original. Sometimes I have kind of psycho-drama internal dialogs between the different influences in my chart, figuring out how we can better all get along.

I am not sure why being true to your nature would call for improvement -we are ever growing that is the process of life .
If we didn't change we would still be infants -for one thing. Is going from an infant to a teen then adult improving our negative points no.
Anyhow astrology isn't the only source and tool in which people want to improve themselves and their lives.
    • Unsu...

      Well said Libramoon!
This is just the sort of thing I was thinking!

The way I see it, improving negative points doesn't have to go against your nature.

The astrological terminology I have seen for it is "evolving" your nature.
Finding a balanced and healthy expression of the "inner you" and growing into the person you have the potential to become.
  • Unsu...

That's the problem with cookbook astrology. At some point you have to look at how these things are interacting and which force in the chart has more weight. But as is often the case for humans, contradictions abound!

Personally, I would give more weight to the Ascendant and Ascendant Lord first, then the Moon and its lord, then the Sun and its lord. Include in this analysis other planets that are conjunct or aspecting these important positions. These planets are the ones that are going to show more of your own unique personality. Other planets may be showing more outside influences in your life.

But every planet is going to express its own story at some point in your life, and that's how we can have lives that change and go through different phases. There's so much going on in one chart that it can't all happen at once!
    • Its true there must be contradictions or else it wouldn't be interesting thanks for pointing out that some aspects are more significant than others i explored this more and found this

The strongest aspect is the conjunction, where planets or other points are very near each other in the chart. The fusion means that they become like one, their separate characters blending, like creating a new planet. You could also call it a synthesis of the forces involved.
Second in power is the opposition, where the planets are on opposite sides of the chart. This signifies that the forces of those planets are irreconcilable, impossible to get to work together. They get a relation of "either-or", so that either one planet acts, or the other, but not simultaneously, never joined.
The trine shows harmony between planets at that distance. Their forces work for one another, not necessarily through actual cooperation, but still being helpful to each other. The square reveals conflict between the planets involved - conflicting interests that can either be constructive or destructive. The sextile shows active cooperation, where the planets involved concretely aid each other and work together

In view of this perhaps i was just asking how to make the aspects more constructive.
  • Thanks again to everyone who has thought about this and answered i will answer back individually when i absorb all of this , i have been looking for answers to this on my own as well and it seems if you are looking to self improvement you look at the specific aspects of the planets to find your strengths and weaknesses like this says

    ***Basic types of aspects***

Hard or difficult aspects - Semi-square, Square, Sesquiquadrate, and Opposition. These are the aspects that help us recognize the ingredients in our personality that need changing.

Easy or soft aspects - Trines and Sextiles. These are the aspects that express our talents and skills.

Growth aspects - Semi-sextiles and quincunx. These are aspects that give us opportunity to grow. They indicate long term development of some key aspect of your personality and behavior for this life time.

Power aspects - Conjunctions, Parallels, and Contra-parallels. These are the aspects that show energy, force, reorganization and transformational ability.

    ********
i guess its not a question only of planetary energies as they are but very specifically how they interact.

natal nature is however one chooses to define it and so is balance and so is the will to change

i just wanted to know how people knew what was "more significant" in their chart and if when people tried to improve/balance if they ended up worse off because of conflicts arising elsewhere...ie which aspects are "heavier" in the analogy of balance and how you found that out... but that is of course purely dependent on individual perspective

thanks again will be back soon
    • I may be going slightly off subject but this thread is teetering on questions that I've had. So... would anyone disagree with me saying that because it is your "nature", meaning the ingredients that go into making "you" that it is pretty hard to change the sometimes instinctual influences of your chart. Or would you disagree and say that any sign, any chart, any time, can be adjusted once you've realized a flaw? Personally, I think it's harder than that to just change one's instincts. If anyone has peacefully overhauled themselves I'd like to know how. Me for instance, born on the Cancer-Leo cusp, even though I know that Cancer shuts people out when they're hurt, I still do it. Everything in me says that it's right, and I just can't stop myself from shutting down from people. How do you argue with how you feel? I've read that it's not healthy to try to contradict your influences, but some negative influences obviously would need some attention.
      • Unsu...

        Hi Sunshine,

Absolutely change is possible, it happens all the time. But I would argue that those changes that you undergo in your life are also written in your chart. The flaw in looking at your own chart and asking "is this what I'm stuck with?" is that our human brains are too limited to see the whole birth chart all at once. We just see pieces of it at a time. So I never look at a chart and think that I'm seeing everything. Astrology demands humility in this regard, to avoid falling into fatalistic interpretations that don't take into account the bigger picture. If you are using astrology to justify staying stuck in old ways of being that aren't serving you anymore, you need to put the astrology down for a little while and do something affirming.

        IMO,
        David Ray
      • Unsu...

I have peaceably found change. I did it by finding new ways to express myself. I foudn, to my amazement later on after studying astrology, that those changes are just like "reformations" of my chart.

For example, I look at sagittarius 7th neptune square sun (it actually t-squares sun opposit Nnode+saturn)
My sister is a sag with her sun falling pretty close to that neptune so as we were growing up, we fought and it really hurt my self-image and hence my ability to excel. I felt I was always in her shadow.
When I moved away to college, her influence was gone but that same energy got embodied in a totally new (and this time quite beneficial way) - I grew a strong spirituality in college ... a totally different way of expressing neptune in sag but still neptune in sag. Now that energy is a spiritual core that drives me to meet my goals and discipline myself gently. It gives me a new way to "forget myself" that is not so negative.
  • Most of the replies to this question were insightful and I apprediated all these views; but let me throw my simplistic approach into the mix.

    1. Examine eadh incident and judge you behavior .. regardless of what yu DID or SAID or FELT with Parnters, work or lover, and examine only YOUR behavior.. did you go over the top? with your emotional response? did you hurt another.? In other words.. Know THYSELF FIRST .. establish an ideal.. then red=flag and tension building up.. and any possible transgressions on others?? Whatever guidlines you come up with try to PAUSE and check in what it is you are really reacting to? RED FLAG IT>>

    2. Each planet involved in the square is a source of energy and expression.. It naturally, beams outward ( or inward) .. but so does the other planet or point.. Oneplanets energy goes out.. but eventually meets up with the energy of the other planet.. they "collide' or explode .. or roadblock each other ( respression) . Imagine WATER being held back from its natural FLOW??? Or a lava flow bursting to get out and 'create' and 'destroy'?? !!!! The FRICTION builds up and up.. and OVER THE TOP reactions. So basically, YOU have to judge troubled areas and what pushes your buttons..
ASK FOR SPECIFIC HELP from someone who KNOWS you and LOVES you--or the OPPOSITE, someone totally detached.. like an astrologer whose moon does not conflict with yours .. or detached personal counselor..someone who doesnt know you at all!!:)

Often a person KNOWS they should change--I call it modify ( hehe) --but doesnt know what to do.. Ask for SPECIFIC groundrules Id rather call red flag.

the natal aspect in question is moon in capricorn square pluto in libra in 7th??
Generally, moon square Pluto people are explosive and hard to please. They are INteNSE and hard to track. TThe Pluto AMPS up the MOON ..makes emotional reactions seem like VOLCANCO's blowing off steam/lava. In Libra maybe steam. ( air sign). There are GUT-LIKE unthinking reactions YOU go into SURVIVAL MODE and kick, scream, attack.. Unfortunely the Moon is instinctual and where youremotions are centered.. Anyone knows that oppositions, squares, etc.. in transit or any other way, cause emotional insecurity as their ROOT SUPPORT is gone or threatened.. and anything goes after that!1.. Pluto will make sure of it.. How to modify the flow or survival mode is dificult but NOT impossible..

Use that extra energy in business or career or furthering outside of relationship goals/issues.. Altho Pluto people in your life threaten to interfere with what makes you feel good and SAFE.. They may make demands on your time or controll you.. You might go along with them because they your ideals are libra in relationships. What I see is that YOU do the selection of mates.. yet seem compulsed toward intense or difficult people...or YOU become the controllee and try to CHANGE THEM.. mold them.. and when they dont comply with your Matriarchial Demands you reject them.. as not meeting their standards.. they could do the same thing.. they will cause unhappiness or draw energy away from any public life you might attain. Moon in 10th is accurate judge of what the world wants.. Privacy or Security aimed you might anticipate what protection others need.. or at least have a finger on what the public needs.. their or your needs versu you mate needs ..

IF you select the same type of partner over and over its YOU.. consciously and unconsciously( moon) you are selcting what seems familiar, and what interchange makes you feel ALIVE..

Pluto in libra or pluto in 7th house can LOVE intensity in all relationships.. including partnerships of all kinds.
You can put you aLL into supporting or working with others, work or business or domestic..

this doesn not HAVE to be an S and M. relationship.. where you take turns with the other on control factors.
My personal experience with Pluto in 7th people is they try to mold or change the other
They dont feel alive without intense interchange.. the softer expressions dont always exist in these type of relations. like tenderness or kindness might be conscidered whoosy.. Relationships dont HAVE to BE EITHER/OR.

On the other hand Moon in CAPRICORN can appear cool but they are just Protective of their EMOTIONS.. they dont reveal or unveil unless completely safe. It implies your mother or early emotional life was cooler.. either a 'proper' rule ridden family life.. mom gone so to speak,, or that public approval is extremely important. Keep drawing TROUBLE MAKERs ( pluto) and they will continually interfere with you Goals or merging with the societal needs In business this is a Go-getter that ambition is more important than anything.. especially after they find out relationships are just too much energy You will get your emotional needs met by concentrating on the needs of others.. or effective ways to guide/help others in a Permanent way compared to contensious mate relations. A Business woman for sure.. but people skills might suffer

Othe moon squre pluto issues show ISSUES big time with being a woman.. Menstral or WOMB issues/fertility often develope.. Moon was cool or she died .. YOu can think other women are attacking your.. or competing. The passionate side of you still hates to let people in.. they will see the RAW you up close and you fear they wont like you.. ..

If you have aries on ascendent the mars effect can threaten the other women..or even men. If needed you can be a force of Nature.. Depending on the rest of chart. cancer on 4th again speaks to being 'safe'. You could be a real homebody or concerned wtih home or crafts.. REAL ESTATE selling or buying.. If pluto does does not interfere any investments, even your own house, could be a haven of peace and possible " Cave" Moon issues like FAMILY are exceptions of course. Depends on sun-sign.. etc.. how you wanna play that one out.
Ok, Ive gotten tooo wordy again.. If you are confused by my advise rememebe ONE thing.. RED FLAG personality traits and behavior that cause 'the issues'.
    More later lol

Thank you for all your advice - I do have my moon in 10th and pluto in 7th but the square is not an aspect listed in my chart still much of your advice rings true to me and i thank you for taking the time to reply in such detail. I will reply to exch of your posts separately for the sake of clarity.

Thank you for the advice to examine and judge myself - you are right it is the only way.

The advice about the energy of squares i have used to understand other moon square aspects in my chart i like the way you describe the energies and it helps make sense to me.

I agree my ideals for relationships are balance and harmony, and i identify with the contolling nature a little bit although i try not to do it.
Is moon in tenth why i seem to be able to give what is wanted... thank you for that insight.
Pluto in libra/7th for intensity... yes i believe relationships should be intense otherwise what is the point but i agree the intensity shouldn't overflow into control.

I am very private person and love to solve the emotional crisises of others but hate discussing my own which seems controlling - (tell me your secrets but i won't share mine but i also never betray) but is more self protective. Ambition is important to me but not so much for myself but definately what i want in a partner

I have pisces on the asc, but aries in 1st intercepted i can be intimidating at times without intending.

Thanks for all your advice Connie and yes i will red flag what i feel is inappropriate.
  • Mars in cancer, even retrograd, could interfer with Domestic or Emotional peace and fulfillment.. Mars going thru your 4th house shows LOTs of Home or domestic issues..or just LOTS of activity, at home or with family. If square you pluto square moon..personal physical danger/accidents..getting flooded? Never forget to LOCK the back door?( physically and psychically)

but Mars in cancer rx's into Gemini ..SIGH.. some rest.. depends on what your natal 3rd has to say.. it wont stay in gemini very long.

Moon in Areis at least once a month affecting the appeal to your persona ( beaming outwards) and you might feel more peace in activity, personal appearance.. or washing the car.. something physical.. but with discretion as Mars in cancer during these coming months could wind you up and real injuries occure.. but needed to blow off steam.. maybe dont take up mountain climbking ???( capricorn humor ;))

    Sorry I sound so harsh..
Its not fair of me to list these issues when I havent lived thru them myslef but have seen others vying with themselves over these moon/pluto actions. As I dont have any obstructions obvious to my moon 24 libra. it is trine or sextile everything but Im still stuck at home, being a homebody, weither my Sagittarius soul wants to or not.. Ceres, the impersonal nurturer, is in Aries ( 10th house) ..and oppostie My moon.. both are square my Vesta 29 Cancer rx.. hiding out in my 12th house.. conflicts of my own are more subltle. Ceres is other type of Nurturing/caretaking.. I like to help people .. vesta wonders how I can do such a thing .. Vesta can take away as much as light our spirtit.. at least until you learned what you REALLY want via being aware what you lack. With me its Family..

With a leo ascendent and lots of fire in chart.. Ive learned to curb reactions.. most years LOl.. Aquarius and lillith in aquarius also on descendent ,, well, I am a bit detached so I guess that works out LOL>>

When things get tough the tough get going.. you have that positive trait Katey.!!:) Sag and Aquarius.. well, we like to skip town.. Uranus, then Neptune, now Chrion went thru or is still there in my 7th house.. I keep making mistakes with people thru my impersaonity.. i thought progressed virgo asc and pics on decendent would help me with emotional interactions. for the most part I have people living with me and Id rather run so I dont have to DEAL.. with dependents I mean.. Instead Im meeting over my share of virgo ascendents with the Pices equivalent of me in 7th.. THEY are changing their attiudes about leaning on others--NOT.. Ive needed help alot but dont allways thrive on the givers.. as I STILL deal with independance issue of sag and aquarius..

Anyone with cardinal planets on a cardinal wheel set-up resembles the origional FORTUNA drawings.. ONly 4 quarters, symbolizing quarterly turns.. and station points that are POWER places. Ares to the east, cancer to the north , libra to the west ( setting sun) ( relationship time), and capricorn (hard won success) on the 'south". I was told that the quartly version was to mark the seasons.. thought of as the SUN running from one 'station' point ' to another.. Shortly said.. that puts your natal chart aligned with defendent swithches in energy from seasonal changes( equinoxes)or when the sun or planets hit these power points.. THINGSS happen.. for good or ill. check out the opposite or compliment or square planets when dealing with your moon and pluto..

      Hey Connie here's reply two : )

Mars in 4th house cancer for me has been fights, fights, fights at home... i am back home again after a long time and the adjustment has been tough. Will look for safe ways to blow off steam : )

I don't mind your comments i find them interesting. Libra moon sounds great i see it as an important influence to emotional stability at least a counterbalance to any hasty decisions.

I have not looked at my ceres and vesta i think thats a couple of levels up for me but from your description of your own placements it makes me want to go explore more thank you for that.

I have a aqua sun with a cap moon people always seem to think i'm indifferent to them talk about detachment. : )

Looking into the other aspects too thank you for your insights and humour
  • Gosh.. am I DENSE of what..
I didnt even SEE Uranus in Scorpio in 8th house.. SO SORRY
OF COURSE.. URANUS is the ameliorater of Pluto and MOON LOL>> dense!!
but it does lighten the load .. concentrate there lol
You are ignoring the other sides of the 8th house and uranus.. 8th house isnot just about SEX.. Its aboout alternate sources of POWER.. or 'rescources' We can tap into our basic core and urges for LIFE and our deepest searchings using URANUS . Uranus uplifts the intensities and depths of where Pluto CAN take us..
Uranus meets pluto.. they merge well.. I imaging the Uranus in scoprio people being of highter understandin of deep issues, including science, psychology and emotional roots also.. and METAPHYSICIANSHIP also.

The study of the Occult, Science, even mining.. not to mentions surgery is scorpio...
DIGGING DEEP, seeking root causes , RESEARCHINg.. INNER strenght is Scorpio.. but Pluto gets into the Knownledge is Power trip--and IM NOT SHARING IT.--- and all unseen forces.. Uranus's sudden insights and wand on that traveling thunderbolt.. or second sense of TIMEING.. can bring alot of unexpected changes.. probably because thats where the excitement Is LOl.. All this excitement must be shared tho lol.. the uranus in Scorpio generation possibly raise the consciousness of those Pluto in scoprio childrens excesses. the ideals of the teacher can live in the student for all time..

Concentrate on raising your own consciousness.. You might see scorpio as ' possessive' by nature but here it really isnt.. Your studies and research into the very meanings of LIFE or the UNIVERS EVEN, will 'tone' you and give you guidelines on how to control moon square pluto intensities..

My personal opinion is that Scorpios have 'personal magnetism'..Their intensities just emmitt.. their total focus, especially if its an emotional attraction.. draw people and situations.. they just cant help influencing their environments.. THEY KNOW whats really happening so why share it if no one has th depth to understand it.. Much is in the undercurrents and doesnt need to be loud and explain it all.. but Uranus comes along and its current jump starts the higher Octaves of scoprio--THE EAGLE.. soaring into an excited purer light. ..
In short.. becme your own teacher.. let Uranus uplift the spirit of the cardinal moon .. and the destiny driven Pluto .. or relationship.. Get them to agree with Your highter octaves.. iF YOU ARE getting that I HAVE TO, I HAVE NO CONTROL feeling OVERPOWER URGES.. some of them could be signposts.. but do they agree with the standards and Highter thought or studies?? to they agree with you new ideals???
Interesting to se where you chiron and venus is..

yep, Uranus is not scared to experiment.. but sometimes pluto likes to ruin a person .. and gets burnout.. then you revert to the colder, untouchable side of the moon.. or this urge to tear down what succeess you achieve.
I hope I dont have any more to add:;)

Had to look up ameliorater LOL but its good to know that uranus improves the effects of pluto and the moon. Thank you for the expansions on the definition of 8th house and scorpio, i identify with "just knowing" it happens often to me in exams or when people ask questions i seem to be able to come up with an answer they want (not to say that its correct....)

I think i need to think about the higher octaves/ ideals some more to define them but for your own interest venus is interecepted in 1st aries and chiron is in 2nd taurus, i also have venus square cap moon very different energies meshing but can use your description to interpret this better thanks.

Oh Connie - Thank you very very much for all your posts and insights wish you all the best Katey.
  • being true to your natal nature VS. improving on negative points. interesting topic. I prefer to do both. Be true to your nature and improve the negative sides of your personality to grow into the greatest person you an become. But I guess that goes hand in hand with being an "emotionally controlled" capricorn moon.

Whenever I stop "growing" in some aerea in my life with nothing to improve and nothing to get better at, wether it be emotional and personality whise or creating something, I get bummed out and depressed with no spark. So for me, improving and expanding is about as important as breathing.

First of all, u should stop looking at yourself through the veil of ur astrological make-up. U should firstly look deep within yourself and think about what your true desires and wants are, what you want to do with your life. My guess is u can do this more easily now, due to the tight Jupiter-Pluto conjunction that's happening.

And after finding out what motivates u and what u want to do with ur life, only after that, should u look at the stars for help. Otherwise, u'll be tempted to submit to their influence, which is definitely not staying true to ur "natal nature". Astrology is meant to help us become the best version of ourselves, and to achieve that we have to know our raw potential, or strengths and weaknesses, and how to turn qualities into trade marks and flaws into qualities.
