are adrenal/energy junkies?

I'd think someone with Gemini and some Scorpio in their charts might be the type to live on the edge and do some crazy stuff, like sky dive or race cars. Thats just my opinion, not factual.

My ex-boss was an Aires racecar driver. I could make all sorts of speculations along these lines: Gemini/Scorp sounds like it would work for thrill-seeking; someone with an Aires sun and a Leo Mars both with harsh aspects to a scorpio moon would probably fit the bill.

Evel Knievel: Sun in 23°51 Libra, AS in 4°54 Aquarius, Moon in 13°48 Leo, MC in 0°22 Sagittarius; Chinese Astrology: Earth Tiger

Harry HOUDINI, born April 5, 1874 at 4:00 AM in Budapest (Hongrie) Sun in 15°12 Aries, AS in 4°55 Aries, Moon in 20°02 Scorpio, MC in 2°11 Capricorn

No one else comes to mind right now...

I would agree that Gemini and Scorpio adds a thrillseeking element to the personality. For example, I have aspirirstions to do some skydiving, mountain climbing, motorcycle riding etc. I have a Sun in cancer Gemini moon Scorpio rising if your wondering.

Hmm... Yeah, I would also be inclined to think of Aries as a likely candidate. Perhaps Sagittarius and sometimes Gemini, as well. Possibly squares between Jupiter/Mars/Uranus could be factors, too?

Speaking as just one Scorpio/Gemini person (Scorpio Moon/Gemini Rising... with an Aries Mercury, at that), I'm really not much of a thrill-seeker, at least in terms of being comfortable with risky/dangerous situations. I do have my Venus and Sun in Taurus and a Capricorn Mars and they're all much more cautious. I do find that I tend to look for thrilling ideas, though, and I like going out places and experiencing new things that sort of shock me. They're not of the adrenaline-rush variety. But, you know, taboo-busting novelties and the like.

"Possibly squares between Jupiter/Mars/Uranus could be factors, too?"

That is a possibility as well. I do have Mars in the 5th house of pleasure and creativity. I have a T-square between Mars, with an opposition between Mercury and a Saturn/Uranus conjunction. I do seek out avenues that I can do to help manage the stress of this major aspect. So i guess this can be a factor as well.

            myzil -

Wow! Your chart does seem to be in need of some serious energy release! Makes a lot of sense that you'd do the adrenaline-rush/thrill-seeking thing with Mars and Uranus as a part of that T-square. Also, I noticed you have Jupiter quincunx Uranus and sextile Mars. And Jupiter conjunct that Gemini Moon!

I guess I've strayed from the Sun/Moon combo mentioned in the topic, but I keep going back to aspects as pretty major factors here!

Yea u have no idea lol. Even when I am completely dormant(like all Cancers at times) I get extremely restless/ upset that I'm not out doing more or progressing in some way.I think Aspects or even houses have a stronger indication of this though. But thats just me.

Hi 'L+P'. My man has his sun in Scorpio and moon in Gemini. Verbally he won't hold back - he has an intense 'dislike' for aspects of society here in the U.K (as i'm sure many of us do) and if given the opportunity to vent his opinions with someone that holds power of some sort in society - he will! Eg, in the past he has told a judge and a journalist exactly why he finds them repugnant (I love that word!) because of the lenient sentences judges give out, and how journalists twist the truth. He goes further than most people in regard to expressing himself and speaking what he feels is the truth. On a level, I think he does live on the edge - but in a verbally expressive way. He doesn't seek out physical thrill seeking types of things such as car racing, although like many men if he were handed the opportunity to go car racing I expect he would happily take the offer up! I have a Taurus sun and Virgo moon. I'm not a thrill seeking type - infact i've recently agreed to learn how to rock climb and i'm 's******g myself!!! Somewhere in my brain I decided it would do me good to do something I don't find appealing in order to learn more about myself and how I confront fears!!!! I'll let you all know how a taurus/virgo sun/moon person finds doing something physically thrill seeking... watch this space! I enjoy physical exercise as a way of energising my brain though - for me there is a direct link between a happy state of mind and being physically active, but like I say, it doesn't manifest itself in a risk taking way. I have venus and mercury in gemini in the 11th.

Hello. I'm a Gemini with a Scorpio rising. I wouldn't classify myself as a thrill-seeker. I do like to do things that are unique and out-of-the-ordinary, but that doesn't necessarily include an adrenaline rush. I'll do crazy things if I'm convinced they're relatively safe, but maybe that contradicts their being "crazy"!

Yeah, I think - as a generalization - it seems that Gemini/Scorpio produces a lot of curiosity about unusual things, but Scorpio doesn't necessarily like putting itself at risk, so that combination results in a more of a calculated sort of dabbling in strange territory.

Again, though, generalizing! I might still be too influenced by my own cautious, Taurean tendencies.

I am certainly a thrill seeker, but not so much on a physical level, thought you would think so with my mars in aires. I have Moon Gemini, Scorpio asc, and through my teens I trained in martial arts, and enjoyed pushing my body to its limits through cycling and running... But, as I have become older I feel sporting activities are so unnecessary, I dont feel a high from winning, never have, and I no longer feel a high from pushing my physical body too far. I think the gemini leanings transport the mind to seek excitment, opening new ideas to itself and exploring new territories of thoughts, but being a Pisces personally the most thrilling experiences for me have been emotional, and my thrills of choice are astral travel, though I havnt done this for a long time, and reading more about the astral plane, it seems quite a dangerous place. My present concern is depth and beauty of the spirit. That thrills me, to see a father connecting with his son in a playground, to witness nature interact with my senses, thats what I seek. So, my point, yeah I agree scorpio gemini individuals seek thrills, excitement, but in my experience it has been on many different levels. I want to experience all my senses

Hmmm...I said earlier that I wasn't a thrill-seeker, but after reading some of the things that people are categorizing as "thrilling", then maybe I am. I like to do those things. I guess I never thought of them as thrill-seeking, just interesting things to do. Could Geminis be such thrill-seekers that some thrills seem like ordinary things to do?

i think geminis have such a high boredom treshold that even the most exciting of things start to feel mundane. As a child I was forever eager to go on the best rollercoasters etc. etc. I would totally bypass all the littler ones and go straight for the big ones. I love Oblivion at Alton Towers here in the UK.

Having said that, after I went on it for the fourth time I was bored and then all the other rides paled in comparison anyway.

        Paul -

That's an interesting point and does seem like a worrisome danger of a Gemini urge to seek out excitement all the time in every area; that, eventually, very little will actually seem exciting. But I guess, on the positive side, it keeps a person searching and searching and experiencing new things. I don't know - maybe it cycles back around, too... like if a person has enough time and space away from a previously exciting thing it'll become exciting again.

Well, i have Mars conjuncting my Sun (Mars in Scorpio, Sun in Libra) and i have an Aries Moon, and a Scorpio Rising.

I'm not an adrenaline junkie in the least, but i like fighting, confrontation, violence, and maybe even danger. I love going too far, and i always do it with a firey, intense passion. So if i ever lost my mind, i could see myself becoming a MMA fighter or a boxer or something. Something to let my primal warrior nature out. And, unlike most librans, power makes me feel good about myself. God, to have global power... that's perfect happiness!

I like roller coasters, and have been wanting to try bungee jumping.. I haven't done the latter because I have no time to yet... Not something that'd cross my mind all the time, but if I was at a carnival, or some other adventure park, I won't hesitate...

Cancer-Leo cusps are said to have a subconscious "obsession with near-death experiences"...
That's what I read in one of those Sun Sign by Week books...

I also have Scorpio rising and Gemini North Node... Not sure though if that counts for "adrenal/energy junky"...

My Capricorn Moon makes sure I don't fall off or get into accidents though. I never raise my hands (let go of safety belts/harnesses) when I ride roller coasters, but I enjoy the feeling of near-danger...

I don't see the Gemini-Scorpio connection being an indication of physical thrill seeking. Unless you're talking about other avenues of thrill seeking. Like adultery, murder and scandal. The Mercury-Pluto combination can be a very insidious one. Scott Peterson is a Scorpio with Gemini moon and as you all know he killed his wife and unborn child and dumped the body in the ocean. He had been cheating on her for some time. There is a thrill element in secret affairs that some people get off on.

In my experiences Aries, a strong Mars,Leo or a strong Uranus is almost always present with Scorpio somewhere in the chart of someone that has a taste for physical danger seeking. An acquaintance of mine is a Taurus with Mercury and Venus in Aries and Mars in Scorpio. He's always had extremely modified cars or some of the quicker street bikes around. He's wiped out on the freeway a number of times attempting stunts of various kinds. He's always knee-deep in repairs ,tickets , law suits and dept because he's wreckless in the worst of ways with his toys. He has the taste for it and he's clever, but unfortunately he's not very bright.

Evil Knievel is a Libra with a Leo moon which is part of a Grand Cross with a Moon-Jupiter opposition in Leo-Aquarius being squared to a South-North Node opposition in Taurus-Scorpio. A VERY potent Uranus. His wreckless nature seems to be modified considerably by a Mars in methodical Virgo forming a wide trine with Uranus, showing a more calculated approach to his dance with danger which is pretty apparent when you look at how well prepared he has been over the years performing his stunts.

Yeah- the kind of stuff Zayne is talking about is more what I was thinking of as thrill-seeking. Jumping over cars on a motorcycle, doing reckless things, maybe wrestling some alligators. I'm not sure my love affair with roller coasters can quite compare to all of that!!

But, geez, as a Gemini/ Scorp I have to take strong exception to "insidious", "adultery", "murder", and "scandal". Seriously? I trap bugs in my house and put them outside.
