i've noticed the negative aspects mostly with people who accentuate the negative. Maybe they were born under a bad sign.

anything can be spun in a variety of directions ~
every blessing is also a curse & every curse also a blessing, at least.....

but never underestimate the power of a self-fulfilling prophecy ~
perspective can make all the difference!

I'm not sure if this example is the sort of thing you're after, but I learned from a friends who's been a practicing professional astrologer for 20+ years that often a Venus-square-Jupiter can indicate the presence of diabetes. I'd have to check with her again on if specific Houses are usually involved, but that aspect is in my own chart and I've lived with diabetes since I was 18 months old.

I think that it all depends how person use the planetary energies given. Every planet has it's good and bad side.Even the Jupiter, who is known as the greatest benefic of all. For example - my unaspected Uranus, which goes on his own all da time, could make me pretty rebellious, without a limit and not an easy act to follow, but instead of that, I'm using this Uranus energy in astrology! Uranus rules the astrology / astrologers : )

Those are called tranists and particular people have things in their charts and unconscious minds or programing that makes them react in such ways and such nots
-planets show tendencies but never compel . its like having a good chart reading it sort of will urk you possibly speechless because the potential is there it is beyond having someone influence you but rather you say hmm that urks me and I am not that way but deep down inside I know it would be easy to go in that direction with what was being presented.
When in doubt I dance to the music and take a bow and exit the stage until the next scene -if it get really bad I make sauce out of the thrown tomatoes .

it is about the experience rather than the articulation of verbal expression and thinking our way into or out of a paper sack
-if a harsh aspect comes in the way of a giant wave there really isn't much to converse or think about rather than yelling run stupid beat the crash of the wave.
You still experienced the wave -the guy who drowns experiences it too .
Who had the greater lesson here? it the result of the lesson in question I suppose .
This makes as much sense as nonesense but there is has got to be something in it that makes sense.
All and all it would depend on one's perspective and experience with the situation I suppose.
