The cusp house gives the address and the sign explains the looks of the house and the planet is how you live at the residence.

actually, the houses are more like nouns and the signs are like adjectives and adverbs.

thanks stevo,
yes the only website I have found is numerology-astrology.com that actually gives interpretations. I have only been studying astrology for 3 years and I haven't quite got the hang of using keywords and putting it all together. It always helps me to use other astrologers interpretations and and put two and two together. I like how you said the planet behaves like a verb and the sign like a noun. That makes it a little easier to distinguish between the two when doing interpretations. thanx

I'm surprised that you have trouble finding interpretations of signs on the house cusps . . . that's one of the fundamental factors.
Using the ruling planets will yield similar themes, but in a different contexts. One way to describe it is that the planet behaves like a verb and the sign like a noun.

As far as intercepted signs, I'm not sure what to make of them. There are different opinions, and not haing any myself makes it even harder for me to understand. Sorry.

stevo,
I seem to have a hard time finding interpretations for signs on the house cusp. Can you use the ruler of that sign as an interpretation. For example, I have my fifth house cusp in Sagittarius with Saturn in its natural sign Capricorn. I found one interpretation of Sagittarius on the fifth house cusp but really was pretty general and didn't seem to fit. Could I go to Jupiter in the fifth house and get an accurate delientation for the fifth house character of that sign. thanx stacy

this is almost always the case. the sign on the cusp defines the character of the house. if there are no planets in the house, enough said. if planets fall in the latter sign, then you interpret the planet in that sign, with the understanding that the issues associated with the house are still flavored by the sign on the cusp in addition to whatever the planet in the other sign may suggest.

I have it almost on every house in my chart. It's when the cusp falls in one sign, but the house progresses into another sign. What do you guys make of that? I know most of us Northern latituders have this issue. What do you think this could mean? Is the house colored by characteristics of both signs?
