Hey guys, I'm really confused on how this kind of stellium would effect me? would major transits hit me like a truck when they aspect to my stellium?

I have 6 planets on my ascendant (capricorn rising), which include mars/uranus in the 12th house conj asc, and neptune/mercury/venus/saturn in the 1st house conjunct asc. all of these planets except venus Trine my moon which is in exalted taurus/3rd house. My moon is squared with my sun and opposite pluto, and pluto is squared with my sun, and sextiled to the 6 planet stellium. Another major problem i have is what it means to have a stellium like this opposite to my chiron, because theres not much info on opposite chiron aspects. If anybody has any info on how this stellium would manifest in my personality/life, it would be great to hear, because out of all charts i can read, the only one i can't is my own...

below is the link to my chart

Hi Chris, major transits (pluto, neptune) move too slow to hit you like a truck. I mean, there is enough "space" between the planets of your stellium to create room to breathe. So you will get them one after another and by the time pluto is half way the stellium, you will probably know how to deal with them other than freaking out. So there is a positive aspect in transits to a stellium as well ;-) You will learn to feel pluto in every aspect, and also be able to feel in what stage the transit is. Usually the first stage is destruction on one or more levels. The next stage usually involves getting up again and reorientation. An later on during the transit, you will feel the joy of new enthousiasm - if pluto's mission was completed succesfully.

I don’t agree with this interpretation. You need to consider that the stellium is a bunch of conjunctions – Mars/Uranus/Asc AND Uranus/Asc/Neptune AND Asc thru to Venus – these energies meld together to create something entirely different to simply Pluto on Mars or Pluto on Venus etc.

Whilst you may get stronger Venusian energy during the Pluto/Venus transit, with Mercury part of the equation you are going to be affected more mentally than a pure Pluto/Venus transit. Indeed with Saturn amongst it all there is the possibility of quite a dark period in a person’s life. You cannot simply state Pluto is on Venus so…that is cookbook astrology. A good chef adds a bit of this and that to end with a masterpiece.

@ Chris – “would major transits hit me like a truck when they aspect to my stellium”.

You will have this Plutonian energy around for a long time, so you will get a feel for it, so that by the time it crosses your Asc other’s will definitely see this energy emanate from you. It has nothing to do with spaces between planets, but more on the orbs you are working with. Some astrologers use a 5 degree orb and so Pluto will be there constantly.

You are doing the hard yards now, as the 12th house implies you are more alone, without power, or ill and requires that you deal with deep-seated emotional problems. It can be a highly spiritual time if you allow this. Women will feature prominently during these transits with natal Pluto opp Moon – so you may experience some of the transit energy via women in your life, including mother, or there will be compromises made for a woman or women.

Once Pluto is in the 1st you will gain more control of this energy as you begin to take independent action. You may decide to change your name change or change of address but this will be your decision – these changes will signify a highly emotional time for you. You may appear to others as more deep, serious, intense.

With respect to the hits of transits – this may include 3 or 5 hits. Personally I have found with Pluto that the retrograde hits are when we have the deep realisation of what Pluto is teaching us – the gut-wrenching emotional reaction of our loss/change. The ah-ha moment. The 1st hit may be the loss itself, but the retrograde hit is the avalanche of feeling that goes with that loss, and the beginning of acceptance or living with the situation. The 3rd/5th hit is adaptation and assimilation of the lesson of Pluto – where we look back and realise the journey we were on was profoundly Pluto.

      <I don’t agree with this interpretation>.

Be my guest, karen. But it was not an interpretation. It was a humble account of my personal experience so far, without any claim for posessing THE one and only truth.

I have a natal venus/mercury conjunction (orb 1°) and what I am currently experiencing while transiting pluto is "hitting" this conjunction, is two separate, very different transits. For me this is logical. Mercury is ruling my 6th & 9th house. Pluto/mercury happened last january and showed me where I urgently needed to improve my communication skills, especially in regards to 6th house issues. And pluto/venus is happening right now, just giving me a tremendous power boost - so far. Venus is ruling my 4th, transforming my home and my roots.

Karen, I would not say that wat you write is impossible. However, from my experience, transits to planets are coloured by the houses these planets rule as well. If I may take Chris' chart as an example, we can see that transiting pluto - currently at 5° capricorn - will "hit" his uranus by the end of this year (according to the ephemerides). Uranus is connected to aquarius, and aquarius is on the cusp of Chris' 2nd house. So transiting pluto "hitting" his uranus will have themes that belong to the 2nd house. Such as financial issues, self worth, security, the ability to make yourself a living, and anything that Chris thinks is valuable - and will never change.

So it is not just uranus energy we need to melt, as you describe, but we also need to melt the 2nd house issues that come with Chris's uranus. And all in all that brings us 6 planets and 8 houses to melt in just one theme that will be there non stop for Chris during more than one decade (from 2008 until 2020). Do you seriously think this is realistic?

@ Dawn – “Karen, I would not say that wat you write is impossible. However, from my experience, transits to planets are coloured by the houses these planets rule as well.”

Absolutely we need to consider the houses & rulerships! The rulership houses are important - this is where we see the transit outcome - the change occurs in the house the planet is transiting, but the rulership houses are changed as result. You will experience the transit energy over the stellium as a blending effect of planets, in different areas of your life, which is what the houses represent. It is the psychological implications of Pluto on the planets that may be more felt as a blending of energies.

We do not experience transits just when we have the actual hit or within 1 deg orb. Once the transit comes into orb that transit is felt until we pass through the other side, including orb. The whole time we will experience this energy. So there isn’t a stop/start effect.

I think anything is realistic and is ultimately open to interpretation based on our perception. The reality is this person has a stellium and experiencing major transits to that stellium - FACT. You did acknowledge that the planet moves so slowly, so years will be involved.

Whilst you say "6 planets & 8 houses", it is mediated by my argument in 1st paragraph.

Bernadette Brady “The Eagle & the Lark” is a good textbook on predictive astrology which explains transits, among other things.
  • I like the simple approach:

Your mom and dad did not get along (actually, you've never seen a male/female relationship work). So, almost all relationships will be tinted with this (chiron in the 7th opposite all of it). Otherwise, you have the ability to move mountains (and you will)...Warmth, however, will not be part of the process. Ask a more specific question, and you will get a more specific answer.

Wow that's pretty spot on. Dy dad left me before i was born and i didn't know who he was or met him until i was about 13. Through my whole life i havn't had the chance to have a connection with my family, my mother was always in unstable short term relationships and i was eventually put into foster homes so i was seperated from my sister, now along with all of this i was born with a condition known as "aspergers" (a high functioning autism) so my whole childhood is just a blur of an inability to control myself.. Despite this aspergers i've decided this mental state is a gift because i've turned towards a more spiritual approach to life and it's kind of allowed me to see people for who they really are.. it's like i can pierce through their soul with my eyes. I can see great potential in my friends to be great people, but the next minute i see them judging a random person because of the style of clothes they wear or call them fags for the rims and exhaust they have on their cars. I can't respect someone anymore unless they're Actually a good person in heart... so maybe this Chiron opposite my stellium has really had an effect on me, or this moon trine stellium has clouded my emotions so much that i dream too much of a greater, more connected reality instead of seeing people hiding their true feelings and intentions behind each others back.. orr this neptune placement has got my whole life in an illusion or delusion. Whatever it is, i try to forgive the past and through all of this i find a way to keep the positive snowball rolling down the hill so i'm optimistic about the future. i'm focusing my future on bringing heaven to earth (metaphorically) and making music, because music seems to transcend me to a greater place.. so i DJ electronic music at clubs and make drunk/drugged out people dance lol...

I'm wondering, what are you saying about this "ability to move mountains", what mountains might i be able to move? and why warmth would not be part of the process?

"I'm wondering, what are you saying about this "ability to move mountains", what mountains might i be able to move? and why warmth would not be part of the process?"

        Exactly what you said:

" i DJ electronic music at clubs and make drunk/drugged out people dance lol..."

And while you can make them (mountains) move, you do not partake. All this while you are still as young as you are. Why not try using your ability to 'observe' human emotion, read them, work them, for something truly more fulfilling (like teaching)? I tell you this, because there is nothing you cannot do if you put your mind to it (despite your history). And one of those things is a structured way of achievement (like a degree or a certificate, etc.). What you have is a rare gift, use it wisely (and if you choose to use your time making music for 'cold' people, so be it). Being detached (emotionally) is what I was talking about. A gift, a curse, but remember you need to achieve something that is your own..

P.S. disagree with me, fine, but I'm only talking to Chris, k?
