Ick, it said that about Virgo rising? Ha.... unfortunately, too true about the hair ._.

I dunno, Sadasiva

I don't think every house can affect the appearance. I have a pretty strong Saturn(along with the Sun - they're my only personal planets set in angular houses) and I don't have any typical Saturn features. I'm not bony at all, and my hair is very soft and fragile. I also have a pretty small nose.

"Head (size of head, hair) - First house
Face - (sense organs, including speech / throat) - 2nd house
Neck, Arms, Shoulders - 3rd house

This works pretty much all the time. There are places where the body parts share and overlap, like throat is the transition between 2nd and 3rd house (both have to do with communicating) -- "

I have Scorpio Pluto on my 2nd/3rd house cusp, and I don't have a deep voice. It's not squeaky, either, but it's definitely not deep.

And I don't see how my Pluto's position can affect the shape of my arms, or shoulders, or neck...they're all perfectly explained by the AC in the Taurus Decanate of Virgo and its opposition to my Sun and Venus.

I have Black Mooon Lilith in the 1st house. I wonder if that has any effect on my physical body.

"For instance My Mars is in the third - in Leo - i have always been very muscular and strong in the arms and shoulders (and entire body actually) people have always thought that i work our but i have never touched a weight in my life."

Muscular arms and shoulders are typical traits for water men, especially those with Neptune aspecting the AC. I have pretty strong arms and shoulders myself(well, at least, when I exercise, those are the first parts that "fluff up") and I blame it on my Pisces planets, or the fact that my Sun and Venus are in Pisces and opposing my Virgo Rising.
But, anyways, for a more obvious male example, check out Daniel Craig-the new James Bond, who's a Pisces Sun.

And the squareness is also a Venus-AC mark. Depending, of course, on the signs both Venus and the AC are in the chart, and how well aspected they are.
For instance, my sister and I both have the Venus-AC opposition, and we both have some "Taurean" physical traits. But her AC makes no other planetary aspect apart from this opposition, whereas mine makes the same aspect to the Sun, along with a sextile to Pluto, and a trine to my Saturn-Neptune conjunction.
Also, her AC is in the last degreees of Gemini, and her Venus in the first decanate of Capricorn, whereas my AC is in Virgo, and my Venus and Sun are in Pisces.
We both look younger than we are.(typical for a mercury-ruled AC) And we both have rather squarish, well-built bodies(possibly also due to our Greek inheritance)-wide shoulders with equally wide hips. However, Venus definitely leaves its mark by the long neck feature we both have(very long, considering our genetic inheritance). We also have almost identical voices. When people talk to us on the phone they can hardly tell us apart if it weren't for the differences in the way we speak. Or so they said..

BUT, apart from these similarities, we also have typical differences which can be explained by Venus and the AC's positions in our charts. My Venus is Pisces which makes me the shortest member of my family, and pale, and fleshy, whereas she's taller, with darker skin, and a big, thick mane of a hair.
We both have pretty good teeth(again, especially when considering our genetic inheritance), but her face is longer, with a bit thinner jaws, and a more alert look in her eyes(Venus in Cappie, and AC in Gemini).

"other things will also show. When a planet is affecting the first house or just strong on its own you will see it in the physique. For instance a prominent Saturn will make for crooked, prominent teeth and coarse hair. Jupiter will show height and a long neck if he is well dignified (called Hamsa "Swan" Yoga) - Venus will give beauty, softness and curly hair."

I covered Saturn above, and about Jupiter..Greta Garbo(Virgo Sun, Taurus Moon) had a Jupiter-AC conjunction in Gemini(debilitated position for Jupiter..) and she was quite tall for a woman.(1.71 meters..that's 5' 7½" tall, according to astrotheme.com)

"Mars in the first house for a woman or affecting their moon (indicator of face) or other appearance factors can tend to make them hairy, especially if Scorpio.."
lol. I have a Moon-Mars conjunction, and I would say I'm pretty hairy..well, not on unusual places, or anything, but I have started shaving my legs and arms since I was 10. I read somewhere that it might have something to do with the Virgo Rising.

And I also have square jaws, and my Mars is in the 9th...according to you that should give me very muscular thighs?..since the 9th rules the thighs. Lol. Might be true, actually.

But most of it seems a lot easier to explain by the AC and its aspects. And I've studied the charts of a lot of people I knew in person-and knew their parents, as well-which helped me in determining how much was pure genetics, and which parts HAD to be star-induced.

IN general the first house is the entire body - but specifically the top of the head and scalp - hair.

Head (size of head, hair) - First house
Face - (sense organs, including speech / throat) - 2nd house
Neck, Arms, Shoulders - 3rd house

This works pretty much all the time. There are places where the body parts share and overlap, like throat is the transition between 2nd and 3rd house (both have to do with communicating) --

Body parts of houses is very profound and gives great insight into the houses and what they mean.

For instance My Mars is in the third - in Leo - i have always been very muscular and strong in the arms and shoulders (and entire body actually) people have always thought that i work our but i have never touched a weight in my life. It has nothing to do with my head. THick curly hair (Venus), square body, penetrating eyes (sun), Quick moving yes and even features (Mercury).

My first house has Sun, Mercury and venus -- (also N. Node) if you know anything about the appearances of planets you will see those things describe my appearance (including head size) very well.

other things will also show. When a planet is affecting the first house or just strong on its own you will see it in the physique. For instance a prominent Saturn will make for crooked, prominent teeth and coarse hair. Jupiter will show height and a long neck if he is well dignified (called Hamsa "Swan" Yoga) - Venus will give beauty, softness and curly hair. Sun will tend to give baldness - Mars a heavy beard.. A good example for me - Mars is in a very masculine sign (leo) but not affecting my head, affecting the body parts where he resides (3rd house - arms and shoulders) -- I still hardly have to shave every two or three days and have hardly no chest hair - even though i am 45.

Mars in the first house for a woman or affecting their moon (indicator of face) or other appearance factors can tend to make them hairy, especially if Scorpio.. Mars in first or second also makes for square jaws and other masculine traits that affect the head and face. Sun in first for woman can make them lose their hair - especially if in fire signs..

Pay attention to these things.. element - planets - body parts.. it is fascinating.

I use it all the time in rectification.

I have found Pisces rising to be efficaciously abundant in the cranuim room if not some what overly domineering as for needing to have a lot of room basically everyone elses head gets crowded in. Jupiter headed Pisces can be so emotuional at times they have a hidden secret fear of their hairline receeding making for an even larger sized smooth nobless forehead .
Few become jealous of Capricorn mars people who have such well shaped nob heads that this can be a form of guilt and shame until they learn to overcome it and realize not everyone has nobs oor that it matters if their foreheads are smooth smooth is beauutful too they can opt to have a special surgery to add such nobs . It is great for the self asteem I would encourage anyone who feels like they are missing out to have the nobs put in they can be hard or the soft jell kind.
I have yet to witness the extent of its effects vitalistically speaking. My head seems fine. I'm am a hell of a forehead nobby kind of person, myself actually... I had to have mine reduced in size

Mars in Capricorn.

I didn't relate it even remotely to the physical body, save for the "Capricorn - Joint" association, because I find the idea laughable, to be perfectly honest.

That doesn't mean I'm not down to explore Mars in Capricorn. I described my experience of the position.

Jupiter rules the growth hormones, as far as I can tell. So, it favors a long body, with long limbs.
The head is a box-doesn't quite fit into the description.lol

I have met quite a few Sag Risings in person, as well as a few of those who had hard Jupiter aspects to the Ascendant-and they were all above average in height(or sometimes around the waist, as well-lol), at least when comparing to the rest of the family. But neither had big heads. When I say big head, I mean something that looks a bit out of place comparing to the rest of the body-meaning just too bulky.

My mother's actually a Sag Rising, and she's short-but still tall, if you analyze her genetic inheritance. Her mother was 1.58(like me-lol) and she "made it" to 1.63(meters, I mean).
And anyways, her head is quite small comparing to the rest of her body.

Aries Rising has a very distinct vibe. Of course, physical traits-wise, it usually implies a prominent nose, high, well-defined cheekbones and chin, and a nice, honest smile(usually with nice teeth).

I just realized Angelina Jolie has a Mars-Jupiter conjunction, as well, and the woman has a very big head.

Mars is the ruler of Aries & Aries does represent the head, but personally, I haven't noticed much along the way of physical appearance myself.

love all-ways,

I place a bit of stock in Ascendants influencing people's overall appearances,
but other than that, I give more of the artistic rights to genetics, than planetary motion... (although, what with FJ and Sherpa's conversation...)

Mars once was symbolized the head and reproductive organs
I think mars would make a flawless well proportioned head with lovely well shapen eyebrows

I know this may sound a bit silly, but do you think Mars's position in your chart may point out towards the shape and size of your head?

It just hit me that I have a pretty tight Mars-Jupiter conjunction in Gemini, and have a pretty big head for someone of my gender, age, and especially height.

Just curious...have any of you noticed any relation between one's Mars, and one's Head?
