what I am learning as a virgo sun

these are things that have helped me tremendously as a virgo. do they resonate with other virgo suns or other sun signs? what are some you've learned from your sun sign?

I do not try to save or correct people. I allow them to fail, giving them the honor of being responsible for themselves.

I do not resent others for acting like primadonnas or princes/princesses, because I do not allow them to be spoiled off of my work or toil.

I only serve others when it is a gift that is freely given from myself, with no strings or expectations. Then I feel no resentment if it is not appreciated.

I believe that if you want to experience unconditional love, you need to step off your pedestal and live and work with the common people, not placing yourself above them.

I recognize a strong need within myself to respect "sacredness" ~ ie sacred spaces, the physical body, other's religious beliefs and so forth and aversion toward those who do not respect these. Going forth, I recognize the need to regenerate stale and outdated practices and dogmas by challenging and even disrespecting them and recognize that our own true sacredness and purity is untouchable and cannot be spoiled or blasphemed by any actions or circumstances in our life.

I honor my body and listen to it attentively, recognizing it is a medium through which my spirit talks to me.

I do not overwork myself. I recognize my addiction to manifesting my ideas in the exact way in which I envision them. I trust that my higher guidance is guiding my work to be created in exactly the way it should be and giving me ample time to create. Thereby allowing me to maintain a healthy work-life balance, allowing plenty of time for self-care and play. My work can be done with a feeling of ease and relaxation. I trust everything will work out for the best.

My stage-fright and shyness needs to be faced and uprooted. It holds me back from celebrating in my own unique expression of myself and is rooted in feelings of inadequacy and fear of self-expression. Even so, I feel the transformation should happen with gentleness and kindness.

I am learning to challenge my paradigms about how I see "perfection" and expand them continuously from the narrow messages I received as a child, using Nature as one of my teachers. And enjoying the bliss and delight I feel in her.

The biggest one of all: When I begin to feel anxiety, I focus back on the bigger picture and remember, in the larger scope of things, nothing is wrong. Nothing is wrong, and nothing is wrong. I love hearing that from others. I love hearing that from myself. It's helped me tremendously.

Thanks! Love to all!

Never met a virgo who wanted to talk about themselves this much, how much leo is in your chart? I'm guessing mercury (where is your chart btw?)

    But to play along:
One of the things I learned about a gemini sun square a virgo pluto is how much I like to learn about other people..

Great list! yes, I try to work on things similar esp. the helping people - I do it too much and than of course I get too many people who recognize how helpful I am and take advantage of it - than I lose me. Than I get resentful because I get stressed that I ignore myself and pull back and than they get mad that I am not "helping" anymore - well, geez, I am not WonderWoman (no matter how much a Virgo would want to be). It is hard to recognize and set up boundaries and say No! I tend to attract the takers and no givers - I am the giver.

And yes, I am always trying to fix or help people and get in others business - not because I am nosy but I jump at opportunities to help. I have to mentally stop myself and say "You don't have to do this". It is hard. But it gets easier as I get older.

Do you by chance have NN Pisces and SN Virgo if so, you seem to be "working" your North Node very well! I have this and it is definately a challenge trying to be more Pisces and trust the universe (which I normally don't) and give up my "bad" Virgo habits. I will admit it definately releases stress when I tell myself to let go but I still can't unconsciously do it - I have to remind myself to do it!

I think alot of Virgo problems stem from the fact that our "true planet" has not yet been discovered. Right now we are stuck sharing planet with Gemini which doesn't completely fit us. (although I personally think Virgo makes better use of Mercury's energy) We need our own planet to finally be free. :)

I identify with how aquarius uses the ancient ruler saturn .

Virgo and Gemini both make wonderful expression of Mercury

is male and female . Each are a pair of the signs for the planet

male and female yin, yang, dark, light, seed variance makes sprout.

Is really a beautiful harmony .( A Blade and a sleeve.)

would be generally "communicating abilities" as for a more accurate use of astrology anguage

I don't know why I Geminis get on my last nerve - I am sure their way of communicating the way they handle Mercury energy makes sense to them but not to me. So I guess I have a hard time seeing it as a yin/yang - I have no planets in Gemini though so that might be the reason also. For the most part, the geminis I have known are too unreliable and flity for my Virgo sensibilities which I hate. It is hard to see how an earth sign and an air sign can share the same planet - they are squared so I don't see how it can ever be balanced.. I still think Virgos true planet is out there somewhere.

      >>Where is your moon queen fluff? I have a very fluffy moon, it conjuncts my sun, but the beauty of this is it was mother's day a couple of days ago and I almost felt perfect at something. Not sure why I'd share this, but I felt like it...

        Hi Queen! :)

My Moon is in Sag in my 1st house conjunct to my Neptune which is in Scorpio.

What is a "fluffy" moon? I wouldn't call my moon Fluffy (hehe) - My moon/neptune combo enables me to take the most etheral photographs with ease and I have a finer and great love of music. It makes me very sensitive though - but I like its positives.
