For the newcomers: the zodiac has 22 constellations. As for the ascendant, the skies change due to precession. There are 16 ascendants if you look at the east.

Aquarius can rise at due east.

Capricornus and Scorpius do not rise at due east
at this epoch. Thus you have Aquarius rising or
alternatively Cetus or Aquila. Check it out with astrolog -F or SKYGLOBe

well now i need help. see i do a gazillion different charts and i downloaded a software on my laptop.
when i do the ones on line my rising comes up Taurus. but on my home software i have to enter in the lat. and long. on my own and it comes up sagittarius.

yeah. i did put am. but i've done it on a couple more sites and what not, and got it as sagittarius. besides, in reality, i do not act like a taurus to the outside world at all. i'm pretty honest and blunt and...well have a foot in my mouth. so the sag. rising fits me perfectly.
