Your moon in cancer (exalted), expresses itself / is seen by the outside,
with 9th house energies (Sag.). Basic, but I hope helpful.

Nine of wands and the Chariot of Power (Grail) is an excellent mix of energies. When the Sag and cancer energies come together, we have excellent friends.

nine of wands and chariot of power, eh?
      i can dig.

im a sag (actually the Ophiucius part of sag) and i have never known any cancers in my life...met a few, but never really got to know them. i hadn't realized why i hadn't ever gotten to know a cancer haha
Ive just recently been hanging out with a cancer (with scorp rising haha..inner resting mix)
and once we got over the exxxxxxxxxxtended ice breaking period of our friendship we get along great.
chariot of power tho, although i understand the relation to chalice, just doesn't really seem to describe cancer to me.
I feel like i am always trying to bring her out of her shell, encourage her power.
=) like come on, you got to rAWr lady!!

taking the dark midnight energy of cancer and putting up in the bright shining light of day up in the ninth seems like it might be just the thing. give it some fire.

Some astrologers state that cadent houses, like the 9th, are not as powerful as say an angular house. Yours may be particularly uncomfortable with clashes in these three areas: triplicities, quadraplicities and dualities. So even though you have a strong Cancer Moon (which is dignified, not exalted), it is not as powerful as it would be if, say in either its natural 4th house, or even a house where it had a common triplicity, etc. But aspects are also important in figuring out how powerful a planet/house is.

It may be helpful to think of a ruling planet, in this case the Moon, as the "owner of the 4th House", and the sign, e.g. Cancer, as the CEO or landlord who runs the house. In an individual horoscope, whatever sign occupies any given house can be thought of as the house's tenant. So Cancer Moon in the 9th is a sort of tenant there.

        The 9th house is:
        Fire
        Mutable
        Masculine

        Cancer Moon is:
        Water
        Cardinal
        Feminine

It is in 9th if 30 degrees left of the meridian. The Moon sweeps less than 22 zodiacal positions, thus it is in Gemini rather than towards Canis Minor in your case.

for starters, why would it be exhalted in the moon. it's in its home sign, and yes, you would have sagittarius characteristics. go get that book, Idiots Guide to Astrology, it tells about all the signs and planets through the houses.
my moon is in taurus, in the twelth house, so i have pisces characteristics

I have cancer moon in the 9th house and for myself it is very predominent in my personality. I feel all the traditional cookbook readings on this position more than fit who I am and how I am emotionally and spiritually and how I educated others emotionally and spiritually....its me to the t!
