There have been some posts made recently in reference to Saturn and its transits. Saturn is about halfway through my 6th house and wow it has definitely been interesting! The beginning of this transit was in October 2009. It really was terrible. I had lost a job, moved from a location I really liked, racked up a lot of debt and stopped making payments on a lot of my bills as well. This began a really horrible two year cycle for me where I seemed unable to deal with the realities of working and I did not have a job for longer than 4-5 months. This continued until I got sued for a credit card debt I had which again was not pleasant but it forced me to focus on my job situation (multiple planets were in my 6th house then).
Around Sept 2011 I got a job than I have currently had for 8 months, already breaking my previous "records." I am going back to school, as well as making progress on paying off some of my debt. To basically sum up this transit its has not been "fun" but its been productive and necessary. And its absolutely been draining! Some people describe this transit as hell on earth and really it was in the beginning but as I've matured I've found it a lot easier to manage.
Saturn will be out of my 6th house in someone in early 2013.
Glad you are getting through it. Saturn is definitely the hard taskmaster. The schoolteacher you never liked, but who you look back now at as the teacher you probably owe the most.
Moving through the 6th House is deinitely about day to day working and reliability in keeping your work. I would say it may also be to do with other Virgo (natural ruler of the sixth house) issues such as looking after your health and eating well and developing your analytical abilities. Possibly the transit would get you to take up something as regular visits to the gym and being more particular over what you eat.

Transiting Neptune is going to go over your venus, the planet of love and affection and armour. this may well bring a new love interest BUT be very careful as it may seem spiritual, highly romantic, soul mate, fated feeling kind, but when Neptune finishes with you, you may be thoroughly disillusioned and in a worse place romantically AND financially.
T Jupiter has just gone over your Ascendant, mars and jupiter return (which only happens once every 12years) and this should have beena sociable time and that of confidence and opportunities??
